Very comfortable walker -
I read and re-read the reviews for this shoe before buying. I put a lot of thought into my choice of size. I normally wear a 7.5W and ordered an 8W. I was not disappointed. The shoe fits very comfortably with my regular sock which is a thinner cotton. I would buy it again.

The shoe is a little bit boxy. I usually wear the Gel Kayano running shoes, even though I don't run, I usually just walk. That is what I will buy next time. The tongue in this shoe keeps slipping to the side.

Terrific workout shoe!
These are absolutely the most supportive and comfortable athletic shoe that I have ever had on. I wear a narrow and these are nice and slim in the heel. I ordered a l/2 size up as suggested in other reviews and they are perfect. Plenty of room in the toe box to wiggle your toes. The brown ones are great...so much better than baby blue and baby pink and ugly lavender.

Narrow shoes -
These are the best wearing narrow shoes I have ever had. They are truly narrow. I have gotten narrow athletic shoes before but they seem to still be wider because my foot is so narrow. These fit great and feel like walking on a cloud.

This particular shoe is not as comfortable as previous Asics that I have owned. It is very stiff and hard to break in. Maybe after I have worn it more it will soften up some.

Great support and cushioning. I took these shoes to Disney World right after they arrived and walked 20 miles in 3 days. My feet never felt hot or tired. I especially appreciate the wide toe box, good arch support, and gel cushioning. The heel could be narrower for my very narrow heels but still works well enough.

I walk or bicycle 2-4 miles a day. I have a narrow foot. The shoes were comfortable when I first put them on. They continue to be comfortable today. I certainly would recommend this shoe.

Narrow feet -
For women with narrow feet. I bought these for walking about 2 miles per day. Really comfy. I wear 9AAA, but bought 9.5 AA. Finally found some that were not too wide and fit pretty well in the heel. I wished they were a little plainer but fit was more important.

Not the best shoe for my foot -
This was the first time I was trying an Asics brand after hearing so much about their shoes in general. I have problems with pain around the balls of my big toes (on both feet). The feet did not hurt when I wore it around the house. And I was excited by the new shining shoes. I took a walk outside on the pavement and that’s when the balls of my feet hurt. And when I wear Nike running shoes, it does not hurt. In fact I changed into my old Nike shoes and they were perfect... no pain.
I will be returning this.
Maybe for my foot the best bet is still a good running shoe.

The most comfortable shoe on the planet! If you're looking for comfort and good looks, here it is! I have had these before and I wore out the first pair. I have plantar fasciitis and these are the only tennis shoes that actually help. I'm on my feet all day at work and I'm virtually pain free. These were highly recommended by my doctor.

I always wear a 9 shoe, but I know to order a half size larger than that in a tennis shoe. Love being able to get that shoe in a narrow. Great shoe!

Good walking shoe -
I am wearing this shoe and find it to be comfortable. Also, before purchase, I was online reading other reviews which PROVED to be very helpful in that I wear a size 8 in most all shoes, and due to others reviews, suggestions of requiring larger sizes in this shoe was true. I ordered a half size larger. My regular size would have been too small. Comfortable for me.

Gel Kayano Walker 7- Brown, Pink & Pearl -
These are great walking shoes, then run pretty true to size, I had ordered up a 1/2 size after reading the reviews, wish I had stuck to the 10 1/2, but, with thicker socks, they work. My only objection is the "pearl" finish on parts of the shoe, which the picture really didn't show.
It's very "plastic or vinyl" feeling, not really complementary to the shoe, in my opinion. I just wonder how well that part of the shoe will hold up with wear & tear. Not a big deal, but, if the look matters to you, you might want to think about the white-white-blue ones instead.
Zappos is so awesome; once again, I'm blown away with the quick shipping- thanks for the great service.

Excellent choice!
Have always worn the upper end New Balance. This is my first Asics and I love them! I feel they are even better than the NB's. Definitely will order again.

Manufacturer error -
Beware! I ordered multiple pairs of this shoe, thinking it was the one for me. However, I discovered that there was a manufacturer defect in the left shoe of all of the pairs. The inner part of the heel was higher on the left side, causing that side to be off-balance. I thought the pain I got from wearing the shoes was caused by a need for orthotics, but it was the orthotic specialist who realized what was going on. Check your shoes carefully when you get them. They should only rock from back to front, not side to side or diagonally. It's not Zappos' fault, of course, but I'm extremely disappointed. I've gone back to my Walker 6.

Walked 2 1/2 miles the first day -
These shoes are great! I have some foot problems such as arthritis and a neuroma. I have been wearing Gel-Kayano shoes for several years with no problems. This new pair was terrific on a long walk the first time I put them on. I ordered an 8 1/2 for a perfect fit. I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 in other shoes.

Relief -
Having problems with my feet all my life and now worse than ever I have to go for comfort over looks. These are very comfortable for me. I wear size 8AA in most shoes, but need a 9AA in Asics.

The only pair of ASICS I've ever had trouble with -
These Walkers blister my heels very badly. I've been wearing ASICS for 20 years and have never had a problem with any of them before. I'm not sure why these are a problem.
