Wore these shoes for 4 hours on carpet at work, I stand all day. My feet hurt so bad. No cushion at all. I ended up barefoot the rest of the day.

Great shoe. This is my 2nd pair and I am planning on ordering a 3rd. I have high arches and tend to over-pronate, I still need an insert in these but they offer the best support. Have tried other ASICS but didn't get the support and cushioning that I needed.

Once again a great shoe!
I ordered these online and have never done that with running shoes, but I have purchased Kayano so many times that I figured it was a safe shot.
Once again I am thrilled with the comfort, fit and look of the shoe. I got the gold ones, which were golder than they look in the picture, but they are really cool and quite different looking from my other pairs of sneakers.

Finally -
I am very happy w/ my gold and silver Kayano 13's. Although I want to warn those that the 13's run a bit larger, normally in this shoe I need a 7 and settled on a 6 1/2. What’s weird though is I went through three pairs of 13's to find the right fit. The periwinkle ones I tried in both 6 1/2 and 7, and felt horrible, no cushion. I tried the gold and white 7's, too big, finally I got the gold and white AND orange peel 6 1/2's and they are awesome! I even tried the 2120's and hated them. Blisters immediately. So, if this years feel different than the 11's and 12's, try a different color! Don't give up, this years just happens to run a bit different size wise and maybe the periwinkle ones got manufactured at a less quality facility??? Who knows?
Love my gold, and oranges!!

Asics Gel-Kayano 13 -
These are my go to running shoes. I've tried other styles of Asics which are also good, but always I return to these as my favorites. No breaking in period needed and provide much needed support. They are a little $$ but well worth it and I don't recommend skimping on price when it comes to a good running/gym shoe. As with all Asics, I go up a 1/2 size from my regular shoe size.

ASICS Gel Kayano-13 -
WOW...I've owned several different ASICS running shoes, but these are the most comfortable ones so far I have owned. They fit great (especially at the heel), they are lightweight, just awesome... I am planning on purchasing another pair...They are worth every penny.

Asics Gel Kayano 13 -
This shoe is great for those that overpronate. I have been having severe knee pain until I started wearing these shoes while running. My knee pain is gone and I have no complaints with these shoes. I will stay with the Asics Kayano as long as they keep making a quality shoe!

Not what they used to be -
Four years ago I bought my first pair and loved them so much bought five additional pairs the next week. When I find something I love I try to buy as many as possible because I know products change. This shoe and its quality really changed. The minute I put on this new pair I knew big changes had taken place. They may look similar to the old ones but all you have to do is slide your foot into them and immediately you can tell that they are of a cheaper quality. No great padding and the arch support is not the same. Will no longer buy this running shoe. The company has increased its price but decreased on the over quality of this shoe.

It was a pleasure to realize the shoe size was offered in narrow. The store (brick & mortar) never offered it because they did not want to stock it! Presumably because narrow is not a common width size.
Thank you Zappos! Now I will order my running shoes from you guys, too!

My sister's favorite running shoe -
I ordered this shoe for my sister. She has been a runner for many years and swears by the Gel-Kayano. She likes Asics and says it is worth a few extra bucks to get their top of the line running shoe. She wouldn't wear anything else.

Comfortable, not as cushiony on the bottom as I had hoped, but a good running shoe. I ordered a half size larger than my foot measures and fit is great.

I love these shoes. The only thing to be warned about is the size. If you've been wearing the Kayano for years as I have you will likely find that you need this version 13 in a smaller size. I have always worn a 9.5 and this version runs bigger so I had to buy a 9.

The first day that I wore these shoes they felt like old friends. Very comfortable. I like the light weight and the "breathability" of the materials.

Happy to buy a fourth pair today!
I like this running shoe...and I am picky! Great cushioning (no aches and pains even after the long runs). I plan on buying a fourth pair (4th in six months...marathon training and I like to rotate shoes) as soon as I finish this review. No complaints.

Good shoe with good arch support -
This shoe has excellent arch support and is attractively styled (for a running shoe). It's a little stiffer or maybe higher around the heel than the Brooks I usually run in. That said, it's given me no blisters even on runs over an hour.

Great cross training shoe -
Ordered this shoe in a Sz 12. A fantastic shoe for running and working out in the gym. Very comfortable and true to size with a little extra room if you like wearing thick socks! Highly recommended for those who like to walk or work out in comfort and although I have a large size, they're a great looking shoe which doesn't look too big. Now I’ve found these, I’ll always buy them to exercise in. :)

Maybe it's just my feet but...
I recently started walking/running on the treadmill and discovered I have the flattest feet on the planet. After only a few easy workouts, I ended up with a very bad shin splint on one leg. I did a considerable amount of research to see which shoe might be a good replacement for the ones I had and chose this shoe based on its rave reviews from people who have the same problems as I do. I was so disappointed to find that not only do I still have the shin splint; I now have a terrible blister on the arch of the other foot! I've tried adding shock absorbing inserts, wearing thicker socks, two pairs of socks, but nothing seems to work. I’m so disappointed that I spent this amount of $$ for running shoes and received no remedy to my aches and pains.

Stay the distance!
The shoe gives me plenty of room in the toe box, and a good fit overall. I use it as a cross trainer -- walking, running, and in the gym. I always buy a size larger than other shoes, however. Asics’s is definitely the best fitting shoe I've found ... at any price.
