Great running shoe for me!
This shoe cradles my heels, have never gotten blisters. Great arch support for medium arches. Seems everyone has a different experience with every running shoe so best to try them on first!

ASICS - my best basics -
I have several pair of ASICS Gel styles and colors. They are the best fit and the most comfortable athletic shoes in my opinion. I have tried all the major brands, but ASICS are the only brand I can wear all day. My shoes run anywhere from 7-1/2 for a sandal up to 8-1/2, which is the size I wear in ASICS. I have slightly narrow and very flat feet, and the medium width is a good fit. I'm forever a loyal ASICS customer.

YUK!!!
Hate these! Have had 3 other pair of Kayano’s and these have a very narrow tow box, the sole isn't designed the same and made a neuroma in my foot immediately act up. Don't buy these! I've loved my Kayano’s and will go to another model but these certainly aren't worth the money.

My favorite shoe -
I wear these shoes all the time. Great for fit, comfort and looks. Plus, they arrived in less than 24 hours after I ordered them, without an extra fee. Zappos emailed me that they were arriving early without charge.

Narrower than usual -
This is my seventh or eighth pair of Gel Kayano sneakers. They have always been terrific for running with a great fit and no break in. However, this new pair, as someone else mentioned, seems narrow. I thought at first they just needed to break in, but not the case. This is the first time I have been disappointed with this sneaker.

Sore feet -
Disappointed, my toes and balls of both feet are numb within 10 minutes whether running trails or on a treadmill. Very frustrated, have tried, different socks, and inserts but to no avail. Great walking shoes and that is about it for me.

No more Asics for me -
I have been a faithful Asics shoe buyer for 8 years now and this is by far the worst shoe I have ran in. There shoes sure have gone down in quality over the years. I bought these shoes several days ago and did an easy 5 mile run. My feet were killing me after two minutes!! I kept running anyway and today my feet are swollen and hurting. Keep away from these shoes!!

I got these shoes when I started college and they are great for walking all over campus. I also had (at the time) chronic ankle instability and these got me through my surgery and physic. They work well with my custom orthotics and also accommodate my ankle brace. I would recommend them to anyone with instability or foot/ankle problems. They fit well and have held up through much abuse.

The best running shoe!
This shoe has been consistent, comfortable, and supportive. I just purchased my 3rd pair, in gold, and I put them on and started running. No breaking in required! I love the gold colors - blues and grays get so boring in the world of running shoes!

Comfortable shoe and able to accommodate orthotics which is a must for me. It's great to be able to find a shoe in a larger size and width. This is the second pair I've gotten. Nice shoe!

I was introduced to the Kayano line a few years ago while preparing for the 2003 NYC Marathon. They were by far the most comfortable long distance running shoe I had worn to-date. The sizes seem to run a little small, but once you have the right fit they are great. I wish they were a little less expensive. I have tried the less expensive Asics models, but they do not perform as well.

These shoes have helped me stay on the street/treadmill despite having flat feet, plantar fasciitis, and heel spurs (poor feet!). The extra mid-foot stability helps a lot. I took out the insert and put my custom orthotics in, and the shoe still fits nicely. My feet swell a lot so I got an 8 instead of my regular 7, and I keep the laces very loose. I thought of going with a wider shoe but my podiatrist advised against it. It's a great stability shoe; my foot doc is a fan of Asics, and now so am I!

Helps my IT problems -
This shoe was recommended to me by my local running store. I have IT problems when I run long distance and need a lot of inner arch support. There is also great cushion, allowing me to run several hours until my feet bottoms really start to throb.

Perfect shoe to get your butt into shape!
I chose this shoe based on a recommendation from my sister in law who runs 5K and 10K races all the time. I never even tried it on, but ordered it based on my actual shoe size and it was a perfect fit. I've been wearing it for the last 3 weeks during a "boot camp" that I've been doing as my workout 4 days a week, and the other two days I have been running 3.5 miles in them. The boot camp is at the beach so I am on the hard sand, in the deep sand, on the grass and on concrete. They have been an awesome shoe for all of these activities on all the different surfaces. I was even having a problem with plantar fasciitis on my left foot, and that has improved significantly by having such a supportive shoe. I obviously highly recommend this shoe.

If you want heel cushioning -- don’t buy -
These shoes look great, that’s about it. They have very little cushioning around the heel and toe area; they're pretty narrow. My feet hurt in exactly five minutes...and worse than in any shoes I’ve ever ran in. My feet hurt on the heel, and on the sides. Then in 10 minutes my ankles started to ache and then all the way up to my shins and knees. I continued with my one hour run, enduring the pain and hoping it would ease up, but that didn’t happen. After my run I could barely bend my knees to walk down the stairs. I returned them the next day and ordered New Balance WR873 - which are perfect... great cushioning, perfect in width, great arch support -- and much cheaper.

I've been buying the Gel-Kayano for years just getting the updated version. The shoes are great and offer wonderful arch support without feeling too stiff. It is comfy and light and great for running. Best shoe I have ever had.

Disappointed in this shoe -
I spent $120 on these and for me it was a waste. They were recommended to me by a personal trainer I work with who said they were great for running. I have a tall, athletic frame and I need a lot of cushioning. For me, they were a complete waste of money! I do not think they provide much cushioning or support at all. Maybe they are good for really petite, compact people but not if you're a 5'10" woman who has broad shoulders and an athletic frame. I ended up buying a pair of Saucony for much less and they are SO much better in terms of cushioning and support. I would personally not recommend these Asics based on my experience. I now use a pair of $120 shoes to run errands.

Good support and fit -
For other brands of running shoes I normally have to order a 1/2 size larger, but the size 9 (my regular size) provided a true fit, allowing the toe-room needed for a running shoe. I compared the fit between the Brooks Trance and the Asics Kayano13...the Asics had better arch support, felt lighter and more stable.
