Very comfortable for wide feet.
I have high instep and arch, narrow heel and wide foot (EE). These were my third try to find something I could walk and jog comfortably in, and they are just right. I have gone with New Balance in the past but I like this better. More comfortable. I got the Onyx/Black/Lightning, and I like the look, even though comfort was much more important to me.

Good Court shoe -
Searched hard for a wide width sneaker for indoor volleyball. It fits well, is light, and provides good support for a lot of jumping at the net.

Ordered the shoe on Saturday AM. My surprise that on Monday, they were on my front doorstep. I was speechless. Thank you. My size is 10.5 4W. Have a hard time with the toe area. This shoe addresses this issue. Toes are not compressed, but have room in this shoe. Shoe is very comfortable. Have owned New Balance shoes just because of the 4x sizing... no more. (When put on my old shoes, feel like I'm walking on cardboard now). Very happy with this purchase. And thank you Zappos for the upgraded overnight shipping!!!

Look and feel great!
I got these for my husband in red and he loves them! He also has last year's model (in blue) and these perform just as well. He's a runner and knows a good running shoe when he finds one.

I love this shoe. It has great support, which I need and it’s really comfortable. When I run on the treadmill or walk long distances my feet don’t hurt anymore. Now I walk more than I use to, which is great.

When I read the excellent reviews of this shoe, I had to buy them for my boyfriend. Just as others claimed-comfortable with no break in period. Great arch support. Just a tad narrow compared to other like shoes. Overall a great shoe at a great price. He loved the black!!!

I'm in training for my first marathon. I wear a size 15 or 16 (depending on the shoe) and have a narrow foot with flat arch. These shoes were comfortable from day 1. I had tried NB and Brooks, but the Asics were the most comfortable.

This is a great shoe. I got this for my workouts (I got the black one). Once I got past the width issues (I have a wide foot but even a 4E/wide shoe barely enclosed my feet...it shows a little sock to the side of the tongue), the shoe is very comfortable and needed very little breaking in. I only really do stationary bike and weightlifting so I can't speak to how this shoe would work for more active sports like basketball or running.

They feel good! This is my 5th pair of this style. I buy a size 10 always. This is the 1st pair that I bought from Zappos and they fit great. For some reason a bit more supportive than the last couple of pairs that I have bought. I will do this again.

I finally found a shoe that fits my 12 2E foot (with orthotics). New Balance shoes fit me as 12 2E, Asics fit as 12 4E. I checked the specs for foot size and I definitely am a 12 2E. I think the addition of the orthotic takes up the extra space. Anyway, they fit very comfortably just like the Asics 100s I had before (those were 12 4E also).

I dread buying shoes because it's so difficult to find a proper fit since my foot is wide but not too wide. I returned 4 or 5 pairs of running shoes until I found this one in a double E and it's a perfect combination of support and comfort!

I like running but I don't like being stationary on a treadmill, so I do a lot of cross country running and these shoes really absorb the pavement, track, gravel and any other type of terrain I come across. Good solid work out shoe.

Yesssss!!!!!!!!!
I finally can run without problems!! Ran 3 miles last week and they feel so good on my feet. I have wide feet so ordered the EE. Before, I couldn't even run because of the blisters caused by narrower shoes, but this finally ended. I improved 2 minutes in my 3 mile run, even considering the fact that I had not run for a long long time. Strongly recommended!!

Good shoe - I am a beginner and want to run a marathon so I read the reviews on Zappos on several shoes. This shoe got rave reviews and so I decided to try it. I could not be happier. The shoe feels like it is not on my feet, yet I get such great support and comfort when running that my legs feel fine after a run. I also notice very little impact on my knees. So far this is a great shoe and I would buy it again.

Sweet shoe, but Zappos is even sweeter!
GT 2130's are the shoe to get if you run a lot. The comfort and stability is unmatched, especially for people like me who overpronate.
I regularly run more than 20 miles a week, and this shoe keeps my feet, ankles, and knees from hurting. Haven't felt so comfortable in any other shoe.
Even sweeter, Zappos overnighted the shoes to me at no charge. Amazing service! Zappos rocks! Zappos has a loyal customer here.

A little tight, but they broke in eventually -
When I first tried them on, I was pretty sure I would send them back. They grew on me, and broke in pretty well, however. I'm a big Asics fan, but these shoes felt too small and narrow, and the arch support (although substantial) was abrupt and hurt some. As I said, either the shoes or my feet changed, and I am beginning to like them more now.

I have big feet cause I'm a big guy that needs to get in shape. These shoes fit great and have resiliency. Lots of bounce to the step. They fit very well and are quite good looking.

This shoe is excellent. I've taken these things running on pavement, the track, on dirt trails, and even on a 6 hour multi-surface hike. They held up admirably through all conditions. Even on the long hike, these kept my feet dry, comfortable, and provided surprising traction and stability... It's really just great you can take this shoe anywhere! It looks snazzy too, I got the black ones and I’ve received compliments on them just by walking down the street!
And of Zappos, of course, was a pleasure to deal with. I ordered the shoes at 6pm and received them the NEXT day! Truly great experience, never buying shoes anywhere else!

A little more narrow than expected - Overall I am pretty pleased with my new Asics. I have very wide feet and usually never buy anything other than New Balance. I decided to give this brand a try after reading the other reviews. I am pretty pleased with the comfort I get from the shoes. I don't feel fatigue as quickly as I did with some of my other shoes. The shoes are a little bit narrow for me. The width of the tongue is also small, which pulls up on the sides when I pull up on top of it during my normal lace up routine. I am satisfied with the product but I will consider a different brand in the search for a shoe that gives me the best fit in width.

The best feature of the shoes is in the gel. Can wear all day and your feet still feel like you just put the shoes on.

ASICS GT-2130 -
I've been wearing this class of Asics shoe since they were numbered 2040. Unless the company does something incredibly stupid with the design in the future, I'm confident enough about the model to wear them straight out of the box and run a marathon. The cushioning and posting fit my feet perfectly and I never blister but if you are new to the model however, I'd recommend you get fitted first. There is a question in this review about orthotics. The 2130 has arch support and unless your orthotic was designed with this particular shoe in mind, beware of using them together as they may over compensate. Remember you should buy a shoe that suits your feet not the one that fits your orthotic!
