Great for walking and hiking -
I purchased these shoes mainly for hiking. After hiking in them for 5 miles, I am very happy with them. My feet were comfortable every step of the way. They fit snug enough so that my foot did not painfully slide forward when hiking downhill, but not too tight. These shoes are definitely a little bulkier than most trail shoes, but I love the colors. The laces are designed to keep the shoes tight, so you don't have to retie. The toe is the chunkiest part of the shoe, but leaves room to wiggle. The toe also has a hard cover to protect them which I really like. I hate when shoes look worn out after a few weeks. Not the case with these. Overall, very comfortable, great look and performance, just a little chunky.

These shoes are the answer to my prayers! Great fit and stability. Light weight - First hike was over 8 miles and 2000 ft. climb and I felt fresh at the end! Also the color is great- definitely doesn't show the dirt from all my dusty trails!

Have not worn much. Seems to run slightly larger than many New Balance styles. The orange N logo is extremely bright. Definitely very casual. The shoe itself is very light in weight.

Size issues...
I tried these on in a size 10D in a running store, and I couldn't even get my feet into them. I tried on a different NB running shoe in an 11D at the running store (they didn't have this one in stock), and it was too small, so I ordered these in a 12D.
They're HUGE on me. Please include information on what last each NB shoe is built on so I can avoid this problem in the future.
