Best of the shearling boots!
I ordered several of the shearling boots and found these to be the best. Although other patrons suggested ordering a size smaller, I ordered my regular size and was happy with it. I did put a shoe insert under the shearling insert that comes with the shoe. Though this boot had more arch support than any of the others, none of this type has a lot of arch support, and I appreciated the ability to add an arch support underneath the plush shearling. With most of the other boots I tried,, my heel would come up when I walked. Also, no other shearling boots I tried had the removable shearling insert. The shearling is really deep and plush and warm. I loved the rugged sole. I notice that the new Old Friend shearling boots have a cheaper and less rugged sole. In case you're interested, this boot is the best, most of the others are about the same as second best, and Bearpaw is last because of its thin sole, which is more like that of a slipper. I have wide feet and was quite happy with the fit of these boots, which probably means that if your feet are on the thin side, you would probably find them to be too wide. I wish that I could get more of these boots. I would love to have the black. I decided against the red but didn't send it back as the only one left is lavender and I think red goes better with my clothes than does lavender.

Hi-Lo Boot -
Very cute and comfortable. I wear a size 8.5. However after reading all the reviews I ordered a 7 and it fits perfectly!! I will be living in these boots!!

Hi-Lo Boot...
Absolutely love the boot. I would say it runs about a size and a half larger than you need. Typically wear an eight and bought a 7 based on other's review and glad I did. I put in insert pads to tighten them up even more. 6.5 would have been perfect. They are very comfortable and look terrific. Highly recommend and the price is much better than Uggs.

Cute boot!
After reading the other reviews, I ordered the boots one whole size smaller and I think I could have even gone two sizes smaller. They are very wide. I really like the leopard pattern. The shearling is only black on the top part of the boots and the natural color inside the boot, so the dye doesn't turn your toes black.

Really comfortable -
My old Uggs had worn out and I wanted some indoor/outdoor sheepskin boots to replace them. The price was right, and they are very comfortable, but they run really large. I wear a 7 and bought a 6, and they are still a little loose without socks. This may partly be the way they are made. But they are cozy and well-made.

Toasty tootsies!
VERY comfortable; sole is firm but the fleecy interior is cozy. It's 20 degrees outside and my feet were toasty warm in these boots. DEFINITELY buy smaller than your size; a 6 is perfect for my Size 7.5 feet.

Best sheepskin boots ever -
I wear a size 12 and ordered these in 11---they really stretch out and after 2 years of frequent use are almost too large. Definitely order a size down. I need good arch support so I just slipped a pair of over-the-counter orthotics under the sheepskin pad and have the best arch support and most comfortable boots ever!!!

Way, Way too big -
I ordered these as a gift to my aunt. I didn’t believe the reviews so ordered her size—6 medium. Of course they were way, way too big. I didn’t return them because they fit me, a man’s 7 ½ D. I think that Zappos should step in and warn customers of particular inaccurate sizing.

Warm and stylish, comfortable "to boot!"
These boots definitely run big. I normally wear a 5-6 and a 5 feels a full size too big on me. I wish they came in a size 4 or kids' sizes! Nonetheless, they're so comfortable and warm that I'm wearing them despite the size. They're stiff in the heel, which helps when you're getting it on and off... way easier to put on than Uggs. In fact, I've tried Uggs and these and I prefer these, hands down. The "hi-lo" feature is awesome, too, giving you nice options to change the style for your mood.

Great boot - great price -
This boot has made winter a little more bearable for me! It looks AND fits great - very soft fleece inner lining that looks stylish folded down or worn up. The boot does run a little big, so order a size smaller than usual. I am so glad (as is my wallet!) that I chose this boot over a comparable Ugg boot. Enjoy!

LOVE these boots!
I normally wear 8 1/2 in everything. After reading reviews I decided to order an 8. They arrived the very next day, but they were too big. I immediately ordered a 7 which arrived again the next day. They fit great and are very comfortable and extremely warm!

Great look, lower price than the other brand -
The shoe looks great and is comfy like slippers. I did buy a size smaller due to the comments online but they are still big. They flop when I walk. I can wear them but will probably buy the same boots a size smaller (which will be 2 sizes less). The best part was the shipping. I ordered the boots late at night and they were on my doorstep before noon the next day, how's that for great service...Thanks Zappos!!!

Love These Boots -
These boots are very warm, comfortable and cozy. I love them. I ordered my normal size to start with but had to return them for a whole size smaller. They do run big. I am very pleased with them.

Great shoes!!!
I love these shoes. I was in the market for a shoe that looks very similar to the UGGS and I found it! These shoes look just like UGGS and I think they actually look better; the inside is so soft, you can wear them with or without socks and you can roll them down or keep them up. I wear them whenever I can. There is also extra padding in the arch for extra support, it feels a little funny when you first put them on cause it's so soft, but after you wear them once everything feels great.

Cozy comfort -
I was surprised by the comfort of this boot after trying several Uggs. This is better. This boot offers better support and competes in looks. So far I have put them through their paces and they have not disappointed.

Too big -
I just got these today and I love them but I'm a 6.5 and I got them in a 6 and they're still a little too big which makes them slip off when I walk but I think a size 5 will be too small, I wish they made half sizes! Other than that they're everything I wanted and look so much nicer than Uggs.

More Comfy than Uggs -
I love these boots! They feel thicker than the Uggs I own. I typically wear a 9 in winter boots with fur lining but the 9 was far too big this time so I re-ordered and got an 8. I do a lot of walking around my college campus and these keep my feet very warm and are very comfortable.

I love my red boots!
So excited to receive these (within two days, as usual!) I forced myself to spray them with water repellent before I wore them out of the house. At first I thought they were too short, but found a wad of paper stuffed tight into the toe boot! Directions for cleaning on the box - wish it were on a separate sheet I could keep (who am I kidding - I wouldn't remember where I put it!) Thanks for great service and such a huge depth of product!

GREAT BOOT -
I was hesitant to purchase this boot rather than the Ugg boot, but after reading so many of the positive reviews, I took the plunge. The boots were exactly as described: fit is one half size larger than listed, arch support is good, foot bed is nicely padded and lining is sheepskin. I am thrilled I didn't waste the extra money on the Uggs. The boots arrived sooner than promised and in perfect shape. Try these - you won't be disappointed!

Old Friend's Hi-Lo Boot comfy, but a little big -
I usually wear a size 9W, so I ordered both a size 8M and 9M in the Old Friend's Hi-Lo Boots. The 8M was a tiny bit small, and the 9M was a tiny bit big; I returned the 8M and kept the 9M. The boots are so comfy, warm and soft, but they stretched out as I wore them several times, and are now too big. I am sad! These boots feel soft and wonderful, and I was looking forward to a long relationship! The 8M would have been better, I am sure, as they seem to get a little larger as they are worn.

Happy Overall...
Got the boots a size smaller than needed and they fit perfectly. Warm and dry. Got the pink and they got dirty very quickly with exposure to snow and salt. Directions on how to clean them to be included with the packaging would be great. The first pair of boots I did not have to argue with my daughter to wear. Loved the overnight shipping at no cost. Thank you, Zappos!

Far better than Uggs!!!
I bought a pair of these for my daughter 2 years ago from a department store. She absolutely loves them and still forces her foot into them, even though they are too small now. (That's why I'm here now). They are MUCH better made than the Uggs. The fleece is thicker and softer, the sole is thicker and much more "cushy" with arch support. Uggs feel very cheap in comparison... flimsy sole, no arch support, and very skimpy in the fleece department. I actually did buy a pair of Uggs for my daughter last year, but she preferred her then one year old "Old Friends" to the new, more expensive Uggs. So there you go... save a little money and get Old Friends instead!

Comfortable even without socks!
Really cozy boot. I normally take an 8 1/2 wide, but ordered the 8 M, and it's perfect. I bought these last year and they are still fluffy inside. I slip them on for a quick errand, no socks, no stockings, and my feet don't get wet or sticky, and the boots come off easily. Yet, they stay on my foot without my foot sloshing around or getting irritated at the back (I have a narrow heel). I don't understand how a boot can be so warm and NOT make my foot sweat, as often happens!!
Great boot, well worth the money. The black gets really dirty though, so right now I'm ordering a tan pair. :) LOVE 'EM!!

Like butter - warm and soft -
These are great, soft, warm, comfortable, and made for walking. As good as Uggs, may be better and good price for a well made boot. I want to wear them all the time! Good product.

 |  | My first time ordering from Zappos was a breeze. I am a regular internet shopper, so the ordering process was easy. What really impressed me though, was the service. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes on an evening after I got home from work, and the very next day when I got home the shoes were already there. I was totally shocked. I live in Alabama and I knew there was not a Zappos warehouse in the area. But the shoes were there and they looked and fit perfectly. I am a tall woman with large feet, so it’s normally hard to find shoes to fit me. I was so pleased with the shoes and the service that I started looking for more shoes the same day. I know I will be shopping with Zappos very often in the future. Keep up the good work guys.
