The best ever -
These are the BEST slippers I've ever had!!!! They feel like I've worn them forever. I needed something with a rubber sole so I could wear them outside to take the trash out, take the dogs out, walk out on the deck for a minute etc. These fit the bill perfectly. The soles are non-skid which is great for me.

New Old Best Friend -
Love at first sight!! I always wore Uggs but couldn't find the kind I wanted. Glad I tried these. Feel just like my Uggs but for a better price. They run snug like Uggs but fit great after you wear them a bit. I'm a convert -- will always look at "Old Friends" from now on!! As always Zappos ships really fast and you can't beat the selection or service!!

We bought these for our daughter because her house and feet are always cold. She says she absolutely loves them. They are warm and comfortable. She wears them all day.

Great slipper -
My mom bought this slipper for me after I tried the UGG Cluggette and wasn't thrilled with the open back. I love that it is cozy and comfortable. It seems to be great quality although I haven't had it that long. Great for inside and outside. I definitely am very happy!

Awesome Slippers!
Ordered these in a size 10 as I wear a 9-1/2 and they're a bit snug but other than that, these are great! (And they have stretched so...) Very cozy, soft insides, good sole for running out the door if I have to (which I did, in the snow, to catch one of my dogs) and they hold up beautifully. I have Raynaud's and they keep my feel toasty warm :)

A Great Slipper for Cold Feet!
I have chronic cold feet. You all know what I'm talking about. You wouldn't be looking at these slippers if you didn't. Well, go ahead and get them because they are great.
I needed something to keep my feet warm around the house but slippers I could put on in the morning, wear outside, and drive my kids to school. These are perfect.
These slippers are very well made. A superior rubber sole that is stitched not glued, tightly to the leather uppers. Water resistant leather makes wearing these outdoors fine.
The rolled cuff can be rolled up to keep your ankles warm and comfy.
The only thing I would be careful about is the sizing. Just like others have said, these slippers do run small. I wear an 8, 8.5, size shoe, and I ordered a 9 in these. And when I first opened them up and slipped them on, I was a little disappointed. They were so fluffy they were not easily slipped on and felt tight against my toes. I seriously contemplated sending them back for the size 10. I never would have though I needed a 10. But I didn't and I kept wearing them. After about two days the fluff settles a lot and they are perfect now. I can slip them on without my hands, and my toes are not crowded at all. If I would have ordered the 10, I think I would be swimming in them now.
And also, I do not have the problem of these making my feet sweat.
Overall, I would buy these again for sure. I would give them as a gift. I would tell my friends and family to buy them also.

I have THE most difficult foot in America to fit (11N with neuropathy) and slipper shopping is no walk in the park. These slippers keep my cold, cold feet toasty. I don't walk out of them AND they resist cat fur! I couldn't be happier. Worth every penny and more.

After scouring the net unsuccessfully for three months trying to find replacments for my beloved UGG Sheilas slippers, I ordered the "old friends". I still like my UGGS better-the UGG sole is heavier and I prefer the overall fit/comfort. But these are a good second, and offer the same ankle-hugging cozy fleece and non-slip sole. Sizing is definitely on the small/narrow side, as much as 1 size, especially if you like a little roomier fit in the toes. Overall feel and quality are very good. After wearing 2 weeks, slippers are stretching a bit, but toe area still feels a little scrunched. I would hope this company's designers take a look at the comments, because this would be a better slipper with just a little more generous room/width in front. A good value. Zappos service and turn around exceptional.

I have worn the same slippers for ten years and these were to replace them so they had to be good. Although they seem to be a little too big, I am very pleased with them. The sole is stiffer than my old ones, but more functional. Soft, fuzzy and warm, and I would definitely recommend them to someone else.

A Beauty, But Not Wide Enough -
I am sending these slippers back because they are not wide enough for me, but I wanted to let everyone know that if they were I'd definitely keep them. They are very well-made and comfy. I have an unusual foot, I think, for a woman. My foot is not fat, but it is wide in the front - just before the toes and the toes. It seems that when I get shoes wide enough for toe comfort, they fall off the heel (heavy sigh). I was hoping that these slippers would have some wiggle room for my toes, but they do not.

I bought these in size 7 men’s & they work well for (a ladies 9). A little tight a first, they get better with every wear and so warm. The look is unisex enough. Just not real sexy.

I got these slippers a couple of weeks ago and I practically live in them now whenever I'm at home! They're warm and cozy enough to keep even my ice-cube feet toasty. Plus, the rubber bottom is great for things like doing laundry in the garage, going to the mailbox, going outside to feed the dog, etc. The only thing is that I wish they came in half sizes. The 9 was too tight, so I returned and got a 10 and they're great, but they slip a tiny bit. I love Zappos!!! Excellent AMAZING service! I recommend you to everyone.

These are very comfortable, soft, and warm. After wearing for awhile, the fleece can just be combed or fluffed back to its original state and feel cushy and soft for the next time! Great product quality. I bought my true size and they came a little snug, but I have noticed the leather loosens a little over time. I wear mine with the cuff folded up. They look like a shortened Ugg boot. There is enough support and comfort to wear them for quick trips in and out to the store! I love them!

The Bootee is nice and warm. I do like it a lot. The only thing I don't like is the bottom (heel area) is showing signs of wear after less than a month (of walking inside.)

Awesome shoe!
The Old Friend Bootee is just what I was looking for - a comfortable, soft shoe that can be worn both indoors and out. The bottom of the shoe is strong enough to withstand walking around outside, but they're so soft I sometimes wear them as house shoes, too. Love these shoes!

Great slipper -
This slipper was exactly what I was looking for. It is comfortable, warm, and extremely well made. It did feel tight when I first put them on, but within a day or two, they felt great on my feet. Would strongly recommend this slipper for anyone who wants a warm bootee/slipper.

Perfect to Come Home To!
Old Friend is a new brand for me. I tried many different slippers from Zappos (thanks to their easy shipping and returns!) and these were the most comfortable and the most attractive. I recently fractured one foot in a car accident, and I can even wear these slippers in the evenings at home on both feet. Highly recommended. I did go up 1/2 size to allow for the fluffy sheepskin lining, and that worked very well.

I have accepted the fact that shearling slippers maintain their size and stay cozy for only one year of consistent use. Therefore Old Friend's Bootee is the winner. It is moderately priced, keeps ankles warm and has slip-proof soles. I do wish they hadn't discontinued the tan fleece in favor of the white for women.

Zappos is simply the BEST friendliest, PATIENT, courteous outstanding customer service!!! Just cannot say enough positive things about this company. Oh yea the slippers are great; also I found them to be a little big I am a 1/2 size and had to order down can’t stand anything flopping against heel. A little snug at first but broke in after 2 days and they fit perfect! Thanks again Zappos!!!

Love these--only problem is lack of half-sizes. I am a small 6 ½, so a 7 would be floppy after it stretched. I opted for the 6-- it'll work after I stretch it a little. Otherwise, they're very warm and comfortable.
