A Masterpiece in Snow Boot, Style and Comfort!
As my title suggests this boot is stunning. However not for my well rounded body. Alas, it is too much boot for me. Not the look I was going for. But, so very comfortable and the quality is amazing.
I am looking for the same boot but mid-calf instead of right below the knee.

Not all that I'd hoped -
I have Earth walking shoes, they are wonderful! Amazing shoes that I'd keep buying. I had high hopes for their boots as well, but sadly they fail to deliver. They are ungodly uncomfortable across the ball of the foot, far too narrow. They are too big in the heel and they seem to slowly loosen in the laces. They don't have any negative heel that I can feel, particularly in comparison to their walking shoes or even the mary janes. I am very disappointed in these boots, you would think for the cost you'd get something decent. In fact, considering how happy I am with their other shoes, I'm down right depressed.

Heavy, bulky, squeaky -
As other reviewers have mentioned, these boots are not that great. Because they tie instead of zip, they didn't feel secure on my feet when I walked in them, kind of like they were slipping off or I was trudging them along, even when walking indoors. They are very heavy, and I was not able to tie them tightly enough for them to be comfortable or to fit properly (they are lace-up only). They are stiff, heavy, bulky, and too wide (for me) in the shaft. They also squeak on wood floors or other smooth surfaces. They seem like they'd be very warm, but I never wore them outdoors.

Excellent Purchase!
I am a boot queen, live in rainy Seattle, so I must keep my feet dry at all times. I lusted over this boot for several days before making the purchase. Please note, Zappos does offer the cheapest price on the net for this boot. Excellent quality, fit like a glove out the box. The shaft is big for us big calf girls and plenty of room for jeans, etc. I would recommend that you wear something like socks or leggings to add some girth to the shaft. Also, these are very warm, so you may want to dress lighter up top. Lastly, the traction on the soles is magnificent. I have not slipped or slid once in them. I will definitely buy more from this brand.

Love these boots!
These boots are fantastic. They fit beautifully and the lower heel makes them feel phenomenal! They look great with jeans and will be great to wear to the slopes!

I love these boots they are really tuff, and cute at the same time. I needed a pair of boots that could handle dirt, snow, and lite hiking. These are perfect for the job and sexy too. I've received lots of compliments from guys, and girls both. The boot is wide in the shaft but fits your jeans and thick winter socks fine.

Cumbersome & heavy boots -
The boots looked really cute, but when you put them on, it's just okay. First of all, as you can see from the sideways picture, the shaft is rather wide. You'll notice a large awkward space around your ankle when you're wearing the boots. Second of all, the boots came up really high, right below my knees (I'm 5'10''). The tallness of the boots wouldn't be a problem at all if the shaft wasn't so wide and stiff. My main problem with this boots is the wideness around the ankle.

Cute and practical -
I was looking for a cute, cute, cozy boot that would be practical for the mountain snow at the ski resort where I work. This boot fits my needs perfectly. It is so very cute that people must always comment. They are young (I'm not). They are very, very comfortable and I love putting them on after a day in work shoes.

These are so cool!
I really love these boots! They are a bit heavy, when sitting with my legs crossed, but worth it. I like the heel, also. They are quite warm. I would definitely by these again. I own them in brown and may have to buy black, too!

Warm Funky Boots -
I love these boots! I constantly get compliments when I wear them, especially from guys (amazing shoes that attract men without hurting your feet!!) These boots are warm, comfortable and actually quite quick to get on, as they have very wide lacings that easily tighten and loosen. I love Earth shoes and these did not disappoint!!

Wouldn't buy them again.
I got a 6 and they "fit." My usual size is a 6.5. The boots are terrible. When I wear them and walk around for a bit, toes on my right foot get numb. It seems as though this happens because the top and bottom of the boot around my right foot is very tight. Also, because the heel of the boot is positioned lower than the rest, a lot of pressure is put on the arch of my foot when walking, which is very uncomfortable. They're cute, I guess, but it doesn't make up for how awful they feel.

Great boot -
I live in snowy northern Ohio and I really liked these boots. They are very comfortable and very warm. I also like the style a lot. I would say that you should treat the boots before you wear them in any kind of wet weather, and that for walking, working and trekking around in the snow, they are very comfortable, but when you're inside and just sitting around, I’d take them off. The soles are really good and supportive, but they are a little hard and tend to make my feet fall asleep, and just be a little uncomfortable in general when I’m not active in them. Other than that, they're really great boots. Also, I got my size and still had enough room to wear socks that are a little thicker for winter weather.

Too cute!
These boots are perfect for my larger size 16 inch calves. They do seem to have a large ankle area though. The boots gave me blisters but once worn in were great. The negative heal was amazing, I could barely even tell the difference. The warmest boots I've ever owned. Perfect for cold snowy Michigan winters. Love em, would recommend them to anyone looking for a boot for a larger calf.

I bought these boots in black because I needed warm boots that were not hideous- I struggle constantly to juggle comfort, professionalism and a slightly odd taste. They are PERFECT. Very warm, really cute, really comfortable. Buy a half size smaller than you need- at my usual size 6 I can wear tights and heavy socks and find them still a bit loose- can really wiggle my toes a LOT. You can compensate a bit by tightening the laces. I have very thick calves and these boots fit well- again, the laces allow adjustment to accommodate calf size. Walked for four hours the first day I wore them and had no discomfort. Also found this to be true: If you want trendy-looking men with tattoos to follow you home, buy these boots...

Love them but have a question...
I just bought these (in green) yesterday and they arrived today. This is my first Zappos purchase and wow - Zappos rocks! These boots are super warm and comfy... but when do they stop squeaking when you walk?? The leather around the ankle is really loud... other than that I love them. I wear a 7.5 and the 7.5 fits perfectly. I also have skinny calves and am not having any problems with the fit... just the squeak...

Awesome boot but too tall for me :(
I absolutely loved the way these boots looked online, but unfortunately they did not look right on me. I am 5' 3" and they came up a bit too high...right below my knee, and were just a bit too much bulk/height for someone of my stature. I could almost get away with it and struggled in front of the mirror but alas decided I had to return them. If the shaft was 4 or 5 inches shorter they'd be perfect. I love Zappos. Return policy is great.

Cutest darn boots I've ever owned!
These boots are so comfortable and stylish. I have gotten compliments on these every time I wear them and their good for your back! I sometimes have lower back aches and after wearing Earth shoes, my backache is gone! They are amazing!

I was in love with these boots from the online pictures, but they were not very comfortable. They didn't have a lot of support, and they fit very loose around the ankle. I am a fan of other earth footwear that I own, but for me these boots were not worth the price. Thank goodness for Zappos great return policy!

these boots are great for anyone looking for a stylish knee-high winter boot. they ARE sort of heavy, but the downsloped sole works wonders on posture, and besides the weight they are great for walking long distances in (around campus, errands, work, etc.). they are very comfortable and have a wider calf which i ordinarily wouldn't be fond of, but this season they're great for the tucked-in jeans look. i got great service with Zappos and have gotten tons of compliments on these sassy, cute boots. :)

Love these boots!
Great, comfy and stylish boots. The earth brand is the best comfort as it has the reverse footbed that aligns your back correct. The sale price was great. The laces were fraying so I called Zappos customer service and they quickly sent me new laces. Thanks Zappos for another great pair of boots and excellent service!

This is a gorgeous and very classy-looking boot, but kind of funky at the same time. Very good combo to have. Extremely comfortable and very warm as well. I love them and would buy others in other colors.

Great boots -
These are a great pair of boots. They are oh-so-comfy and warm, plus they're very cute! I actually have a broken bone in the ball of my foot, and usually it hurts, but with the negative heel technology the weight of my body is distributed in different areas other than the ball of my foot like normal shoes, and it feels so much better! I highly recommend Earth shoes-in fact, I think they'll be the only kind of shoes I get from here on out!
