Although I love the design and lightweight feel of this boot, I will not bet on it to keep me warm in the cold winter months. I have to wear THICK socks to feel warm in these boots, but I enjoy the slim design.

Favorite boots!
Three words: I love these! Incredibly comfortable from the cushy footbed to the stretchy panel in the calf. These fit like a dream, they are lightweight and comfortable, no pinching, they shed moisture, they are warm while outside without being too hot when indoors ... and every single time I have worn them, I have had people stop me asking where I purchased (Zappos, of course!). The subtle vine design is just enough to make them stand out from a plain black boot.
I wear them with tights or with Smartwool kneesocks peeking out the top - with my winter skirts, denim skirts, etc. They also wear beautifully under jeans or casual pants. They are definitely one of my favorite shoe purchases of all time.

I'm a fan.
I do like these boots! They're snug, comfortable, and warm, but I'll have to wait and see how they handle a Midwest snowstorm. The edge of the zipper gets a little itchy, but a good pair of knee high socks fixes that. I have real narrow feet and they fit pretty snugly.

Overall this is a great boot and is VERY warm. I like that it can be dressy or casual. And the big plus is the comfort of the boot.

This boot looks like the best of both worlds: it is stylish and comfortable. It looks really sleek. However, even despite the elastic gusset, if you have bigger calves (bigger than 15" maybe?), it won't fit. Also, even though the fabric looks very durable, I doubt these boots would be an optimal choice for a real (say, Chicago) winter.

A boot for winter work and play!
I live in Colorado and need a functional, warm, weatherproof, grippy, nice looking boot that I can wear with jeans, skirts and my nice looking work pants. These boots are it. Oh, and they match a nice coat or my ski jacket. Big, big plus. I wear a size 12 and ordered the 11; they fit very well and my feet look teeny! When I first took them out of the box I thought there was no way they were going to fit, but they do and they're darn comfy. I've fairly flat feet so no arch support isn't an issue. I'm also a cyclist and I appreciate the stretchy, yet discrete, back panel that allows for an athletic build. Initially I was apprehensive to order something with a frou-frou print but it adds a discreet girly touch. I don't know what I'd put in that little pocket. Salomon makes ski boots, they design for style, comfort and practicality.

Neat Boot!
As usual, no complaints with Zappos and their great service. I wish you could rate shoes with "half points" though as this shoe is not a perfect 5 for me but darn close. I have a very long, narrow foot, ankle, and calf. I'm happy to say this shoe fits pretty well in the foot and calf, being only slightly baggy in the ankle. I'd say it is true to its width if maybe a little narrower than some boots. Ok, on to the construction: the material is so comfortable and seemingly durable with a slight stretch. The pattern is discrete printing, not embroidery but it does add something unique to the boot. I'm so glad I got this boot. It's a perfect casual wear-anywhere boot that is easy and comfortable to get on and off. Probably not the best arch support but could add inserts.

Fantastic! These boots are incredibly comfy and fit very nicely. They feel quite warm. All in all, everything I was looking for.
