Perfection!
I am ordering two more pair of these to keep around after this pair wears out. I don't want to risk not being able to get them again in the future.
These shoes feel better than any light hiker I've owned in several different brands. No break in needed, they felt great right out of the box on a 10-mile hike. They are very comfortable, very light, very well made.
I was looking for something a little more stable than the Salomon Techamphibians I wear almost exclusively but didn't want to give up the breathability of the mesh. Also, the Amphibs let too much debris in for conditions where water isn't expected.
This shoe meets all my needs. The thin inner mesh with smaller holes keeps dirt and trail litter out yet drains quickly of water and is light and breathable.
I have a wider foot and these shoes feel like they were custom made for me. I did have to go up a half size, but Salomon shoe styles are very inconsistent in their sizes to begin with. I wear anything from an 8 to a 9.5 in the 5 different women's Salomon styles I own.

I loves me some Salomon's -
I bought these shoes for work- I stand all day long. I also have plantar fasciitis, so I needed to be able to accommodate my orthotics. These shoes are soo comfortable. My orthotics fit perfectly, there is plenty of room in the toe box, and no heel slippage. I have tried and rejected many pairs of shoes lately, due to those issues. I feel fortunate to have found these- I want another pair.
Oh, yes, they are also great for walking in too. The soles have good grip.

I just got these Exit Aero today (shitake w/yellow). They are by far the most comfortable and yet supportive shoe I have ever tried. They feel like they were made for my feet. I ordered a pair of Nike and Keens at the same time and I'm sending back the Nike. I may have to keep the Keens. They are too cute!! But the Salomon fits the best of all. I plan to use them for every day. I take a 7.5 or 8.0 and I ordered the 7.5 which fit great.

Great light hiker -
This is a great shoe for light hiking. It is very stable despite having quite a bit of mesh on the sides. Has plenty of room in the toes-and I have a wider foot-in case a thicker pair of socks is to be worn. No hot spots or rubbing points. Wore it right out of the box for a four hour walk/hike and no blisters!
