Excellent shoes! Great look! I have had Salomons before and they last forever. The heavy tread on the bottom is great for doing just about everything. This style tends to run about a 1/2 size large. I have narrow feet so the draw string is great to get them tight enough and it is great not having shoes strings! I wear orthotics in mine. Well worth the money and messing with purchase on line and taking the chance they won't fit.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: any Salomons - I never buy any other type of trail/running/walking shoe

Great Waterproof shoe -
This shoe is stylish and functional. They keep my feet dry and warm in the rain and the reflective accents are good when I walk my dog at night. They are comfortable to walk a lot in. I have a narrow heel so it slips a bit, but that is my only complaint. I like the quick pull closure instead of laces.

I'm saving these for winter trail conditions, but they are a solid feeling shoe, providing good stability. Looks and feels like good traction. Think they will provide good protection from wet weather. My prescription orthotics for ovepronation worked well. The 8 1/2 fit best, when I often wear a 9 in trail running shoes. The Salomon XT Wings (non waterproof version) have become my trail running shoe of choice lately because of their stability, fit, and ability to hold up under rough trail conditions. I expect the same of these this winter.

Nice quality comfortable shoes - These are great shoes, but be aware that they do run about a half size too large. They are substantial shoes and make your feet look bigger than other shoes, but they are very high quality materials and look like they will last a very long time.

I am a "pronator" and these shoes really stabilize my foot. They are so comfortable. I love them so much that I ordered a second pair. Definitely the most comfortable pair of running shoes I have owned in years and so lightweight.

Very pleased -
The shoes I ordered on Zappos where exactly what I was looking for. They fit perfect and have solved my running problems. I have flat feet and have a very difficult time running but with my new Salomon's I don't have the pain in my feet I had before. I most impressed by the delivery of my shoes. I placed the order Tues. at 8pm and received them the next day before noon.

Best Sneaker, well worth the $
I use these for both work (on my feet 12 hrs a day) and play. Took about 2 days to break in, and they are truly waterproof (tested in an icy puddle during a snowstorm)!
