I agree that the ankle and shaft of this boot is stiff. But for the most part the boot is comfortable. The heel height is higher then it feels. Over all a good boot. As always Zappos was awesome.

Great boot...my first Ugg -
I am nervous because I read the review regarding stiffness and the one about this boot being uncomfortable. But I loved the look and style and wore it at home for two days. The up and down stairs are no problem as it is worn in. If you get it, you will have to break it in for a day or two. I love this boot...and I’m glad that I gave it a chance. Two of my friends have gotten it after me and love it too...and can't say enough about the service of ZAPPOS...they have revolutionized buying shoes.

These boots are sooooo comfortable, especially with a heel. They are warm, but not as warm as most Uggs, although they have sheepskin along the sole. Tons of compliments too! I did have to go a half size bigger than usual (a 9 1/2 as opposed to a 9).

Surprised!
I love the look of this boot. Wore them to the mall while Christmas shopping and had to end the shopping early. The left boot really pinched in the toe area. When I first put the boot on they felt a little snug but was hoping the leather would give a little over time. Will try wearing them one more time but this time I will have a back up pair of shoes available. Uggs are usually very comfortable. These are my first pair that were not totally comfortable.

Stylish boots for cold weather -
I purchased these in black leather. They are fashionable, comfortable, and very warm. I love to kick up my heels and show them off. The wool insole keeps my feet toasty and they look sharp with dress pants and jeans. They are a classic you'll enjoy for years.

The shoe looks great. But the ankle is very stiff, not allowing much flexibility. This makes it hard to bend your ankle when walking up or down stairs. The shoe is comfortable while standing or walking, but not climbing stars.

THESE FIT FANTASTIC 1st time worn, as if already worn in.
For the first time ever I found a pair of boots/shoes that felt the way I had always wanted and wished they would, without even having to wear them in. I really want them in black now too. I'm wondering if all the new UGG fashion styles like this one will feel and fit the same. They're so worth the $$, even though I wish they were cheaper so I could go crazy and buy them all.

Ouch, but what a beautiful boot!
Just can't get the fit right on these either...I found that they run a half size larger. I'm an 8.5 and the size 8 fit me fine with socks. They are warm and beautiful and sexy but fall at a painful, stiff location on my calf. Sadly, I have to send these back. : (

These boots are made for walking!
Looks perfect! I didn't have to break them in as it was comfy from the get go! The only heels that did not make my feet hurt.

Love these boots. I'm not a heel wearer and can wear these for hours. I do have large calves and these don't zip up all the way, but are still very comfortable with pants.

Wide in the calf -
I pulled these boots on and instantly loved how they felt like bedroom slippers. Then I zipped them up and was so disappointed! They are VERY wide in the calf. I could push my hand down into the boot all the way up to the wrist -- and my calves are not that skinny.
If you have thick calves, you will love these boots!

Great shoe!
I have three kids but still want to feel stylish. These boots are both comfortable and fashionable. I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt at all. Plus they have the warmth Uggs are known for. I only wish they were a little higher on my calf.

Love these boots!
These boots are the perfect. If you are planning to wear thick socks with them I would suggest a 1/2 size up. They look great with skirts and jeans. I ordered them yesterday and received them today. Thanks for the quick service Zappos!

Great look ONLINE. In person...another story.
I love my Uggs, so I decided to go with something a little sexier. These are not sexy in person. They fit my foot kind of big, but comfortable. I am 5'0 and these made me look stocky (I am petite- weight 115.). The heel is plastic. I returned them the same day as I knew I would end up storing them.

The Cat's Pajamas -
I've been looking high and low for some dressy-looking, comfortable boots with a heel. I looked high (price) and I looked low (price). I looked at cowboy boots, I looked at knee highs. I was starting to get depressed, but then I stumbled on these and they are just the ticket! Fur inside to keep my frozen toes warm, a heel to bring me UP in the world (but not too high), and the black suede and trim looking calf height are simply TOO haut... I mean hot, to believe. A Blue Ribbon, baby.

Worth the extra money -
Took a few hours around the house to break in this boot, but now so comfy. Inside is the warm & fuzzy wool that keeps your feet warm.

These boots are even better in person. They are lined with fleece and they are warm and comfortable. I have a horrible knee and extremely flat feet and I can wear these at work. I am a teacher and I am on my feet all day. I have no problems. They look great with jeans, skirts, anything! I got the almond boots and that color is great. I am a size 7 and the size 7 fits perfectly. They are pricey, but they are well worth the money. Plus they will last for years. I highly recommend them.

The Ugg Stella is very beautiful, well constructed, warm (fleece footbed), and comfortable. I ordered the espresso suede and the black suede. Both are gorgeous but I kept the black suede for more versatility. These go good with dresses, skirts, and jeans and they are very sexy. You can wear pants in or out of the boot and they look good both ways. The top of the shaft is not too large but it does not hug the calf unless you have very big calves. They feel true to width but you will not be able to wear a thick sock with this shoe and you won't need it. They are warm. I've seen the leather version in the store and it is gorgeous too but the suede is special and just as dressy. One of my feet, the larger one, hurt just a little after 8 hours of wear. I rarely wear such high heels but I know I will be wearing these a lot. I would love to have 2 or 3 pair of these. They are that comfortable, well made, and worth the price. Thank you Zappos for the excellent service!

Never thought I could wear "cute" boots any more. They all made my feet hurt. When I saw Ugg making heeled boots... I had a chance. So happy I ordered these boots. My feet love them (they are fleece lined), they look fabulous, and even my teenage daughter gives them the thumbs up.

I got these in the almond leather, usually always buy black, but wow. These look great, and are SOOOOO comfortable for a high heel boot! I could walk all day in these. I will buy a pair in black too!

absolutely gorgeous boots! well worth the money as stated..i have a short wide foot (5.5) and these boots are a little narrow for me but I think after the leather breaks in they will be ok. great lining, uggs have really made a wonderful boot!

Perfect boot!
Extremely comfortable boot. Great with jeans, and skirts. Ugg boots tend to run a half size smaller. I normally wear a size 9 1/2 in boots, but size 9 fit perfectly in these boots. I have to say these boots feel like slippers with the insole they put in them, and they are very well made. Well worth the money.
