The boots were reasonably priced, I found them very comfortable, lightweight,with good support. I highly recommend these boots. But the best part about shopping at Zappos, is the customer service! I ordered these boots and I got them the next day with free shipping! Thanks Zappos!

this shoe is NOT waterproof. i found out the hard way on a backpacking trip. if you're looking for something that'll get you through multi-day hiking trips, then don't buy these, pay more money and get a specialized, waterproof backpacking boot. it is a comfortable shoe otherwise.

Difficult to find -
I have a large narrow size and find it difficult to find a quality shoe. The Columbia's Coremic Ridge™ Mid was true to size, very stylish and comfortable to wear. Very pleased with my selection.

Nice fitting shoe -
I bought these shoes for my husband. It is the second pair for him and the first ones fit so well he asked for another pair. He wears them for work and really likes them. He says he can wear them all day without any discomfort. He would recommend these to anyone.

Solid basic hiking boot -
I'm happy with these simple, affordable hiking boots. After receiving these, I immediately wore them around the house to break them in. After the first few hours, my feet were a little sore as you might expect from a new pair of hiking boots. I thought I might need to get some insoles for these, but the next time I wore them, they fit very well. I took them out on a day hunt shortly afterwards and hiked about 6 miles with no issues. Now they’re completely broken in and holding up very well. As far as colors go, these were lighter than the main picture on the page, but still look sharp. Scroll through the various pictures and you’ll see some variation. The lighter pictures are more representative of the actual color.

Best Christmas gift to give!
I ordered a pair of these shoes for my son-in-law. He was thrilled with the selection. They were a perfect fit and were very comfortable. Not only was he happy, I was thrilled with the incredible service! I was running late with his gift because I didn't know what to get. I ordered these shoes and within 48 hours they were sitting at my front door. Can't beat that. That is the easiest shopping I did all year!

I bought these for my 9 year old son who loves them. They fit true to size, comfy, and they look cool. They are waterproof so he can wear them to the bus stop when it is snowy but still wear them inside at school.

I purchased these shoes because I was going to spend a few days in Grand Tetons and Yellowstone in Wyoming. I normally wear 10.50 - 11 (leaning towards 11), and the fit was perfect. Leaving NY at zero sea level, and going to WY at 9,000 ft above sea level, although I was huffing and puffing going up those hills and mtns., My feet were always comfortable. Not a blister on my feet after three grueling days of extreme hiking. The level of customer service I received from Zappos goes without saying. I ordered on Wed. 7:0pm, and had the shoes by 4pm the next day. Zappos wrote me an e-mail saying they just felt like rushing my order. This is why I keep coming back here and always recommend Zappos.

Good, warm shoes.
I purchased these for my teenage son, just before a camping trip in a cold area. They looked and fit just as expected and he has had no complaints about comfort. Great to find them in a 16.

I love the Sydney Jag Jean. They are the best fitting Jag jeans that I have owned. I bought my first pair about 5 years ago and I can't seem to stop buying them.

Last week we took our daughter to Northern Arizona on a mini-vacation for her fall break. We hiked the red rocks of Sedona, the hills of our ghost town Jerome and the woods behind our cabin in Pinewood. These shoes gave me ample ankle support and were very comfortable to wear right out of the box. I don't like to carry an extra pair of shoes when we pack for these short trips, so I wear these with fresh jeans to go out to dinner. They look fine with the jeans. Also, I had ordered standard shipping, but Zappos sent them express without charge. Thanks

Feels really comfortable -
These actually are the most comfortable shoes I own. They really didn't need any breaking in. I wear a 14, and they fit perfectly.

Accomodating MS -
My son has MS,cannot walk, and wears braces. To find a comfortable shoe without going custom is very hard. We tried three different companies and finally we found Zappos. Picked the oversize Columbia (for width) and not only did it fit, but it looks great -- thank you for your great shoes available and the SUPER delivery service.

Comfortable Hiking Boots -
My son got these shoes and after wearing them around home for a day or two, hiked the Appalachian Trail for several days over some pretty rough terrain and had no complaints. His feet were comfortable and well-supported, which is pretty important with his rock-hopping tendencies! His only complaint was that the laces didn't stay tied quite as well as he would have liked.

These are great looking shoes. They need a little more padding on the bottom...has to put in a shoe insert for all day standing.
