These shoes are great! They\'re completely comfortable right out of the box, and they\'re very well ventilated which is nice in the summertime. It\'s less great on a windy day or in the winter, so be aware of that. Otherwise, excellent.

Light and comfortable.
The Pagora is probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned, no more tired feet and legs at work now (I walk a few miles each day). Walking is all the more effortless with these shoes, they are very light as well. They're comfy right out of the box and seem pretty sturdy too. I'd recommend this shoe for anybody looking for a great walking/trail shoe or anyone simply looking for comfort. Note: these shoes get a little ventilation, I suspect they may not be ideal for really cold situations. They felt half a size larger than my adidas running shoes.

Great, durable, lightweight, breathable shoe! I ordered this shoe a year and a half ago. It has been the most comfortable and versatile shoe I own. I have used it for casual wear, serious walking, hiking and for field geologic work. It has shown almost no wear so far and I love it. Columbia has just moved up on my shoe manufacturer list!

This shoe lasted FOREVER! Lasted a whole year as my only pair of shoes, and I'm very rough on them. Still have a fair amount of support. Not a single tear anywhere. Nothing exciting about the look. Compared to Merrell, Columbia tends to last much longer.

This has to be the most comfortable, well fitting shoes I have ever owned. Size runs true as does the width. Too bad they are getting impossible to find in size 12. This will be my 3rd pair of these shoes and I'd buy more, but it'd be getting greedy if I did.

Have Found The Shoe For ME.
WOW, I have been shoe shopping for a week. I have tried every shoe on department stores had. On a suggestion from a friend, I tried Columbia!!!! This Columbia Pagora shoe is it... I walk a 10 month old Lab and these shoes are just what I have been looking for. Zappos is the only place I will shop for shoes. Their customer service cannot be beat.

I was looking for a trail shoe for hiking as well as one that would stand up to an occasional run. The shoe is just what I was looking for - good looks, very comfortable and a great price. Five stars for this shoe.

Very comfortable--no problems, out of the box!
No blisters, no problems--my husband wore these on a two week vacation, straight out of the box (he never even wore them around the house before the flight). Good for hiking, even steep grades, while carrying a toddler, great tread. Not necessarily for long days of hiking, but for short treks, did great. He has very flat feet, slightly wide, with ankles that turn in. They did fine even without orthotics.

Extremely happy with these shoes -
I hike often in Harriman State Park, and in the Summer I go to the Adirondacks. For those trails I need ankle support for all of the rocky mountain trails. But for every day, these shoes are perfect. I power walk every where I go and run up the subway and PATH train stairs. I am always keeping myself in shape for the trails. I bought the blue and grey ones and I like the way they look. These shoes give all the support, comfort and good looks that I need every day.

These are sooo comfortable... much better ankle support than the women's version! I ended up having to order them in a 9 even though I usually wear 9.5- hopefully those will fit because these are shoes you could live in every day.

I found this shoe so comfortable and was so pleased that I bought a second pair. Construction is excellent and it has a toe box just slightly larger than similar shoes which translates to comfort all day long. And of course, Zappos service is the best.

These shoes help keep your feet cool and comfortable. For the price you get a solid shoe. You could spend a lot more for a shoe with similar benefits. This shoe is fine for light trails and moderate hiking. But for the more avid hiker I would recommend a shoe more ridged with a bit more aggressive tread.

No ordinary shoe! I bought these shoes not knowing what to expect. Just took a chance because I needed new shoes. These shoes turned out to be a pleasant surprise. They are lightweight, comfortable, not bad looking, and well constructed. Heck you can even run in them. The only thing, I wouldn’t want to get them wet, don’t think they are made for that. Overall good quality shoe. I would buy them again.

I have been very happy with my purchase, except for one minor thing; one of the leather straps on the tongue holding the laces ripped within a week of wearing them. Comfort-wise, these are great, giving excellent arch support and overall comfort.

Uber-comfortable -
These are absolutely wonderful shoes! They are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and they are really light-weight. You can walk all day and they won’t make you feel like your feet are carrying around and extra 20lbs. because of their design, they should make a great travel shoe and I hope they help make my upcoming trip to Bulgaria even better!

First Columbia’s -
I usually get Adidas shoes but decided to try something different. I'm glad I did. For the first time I have been able to get a shoe that fits my wide width without having to buy a size too large to accommodate my width. Those shoes invariably didn't fit correctly. These wide width Columbia’s are perfect.

I wear size 16. This is one of the few shoes I have found which is good for warm-weather hiking and trail-running. It's a little wider across the toes than most Columbia shoes, but this is good because your feet swell in hot weather. Need a shoe for dive trips or tropical hiking? This is a good one!

 |  | Dear Zappos, Okay, help me understand something. I place an on-line order last evening at about 8:00. I screw up how to use my store credit and can’t figure out how to fix it. I resort to calling your toll free number to fix my stupid mistake and expect to be on hold for at least 20 minutes. Wow is all I can say! A real live person answers the phone in two rings after I debated with myself whether or not to press the option for joke of the day. He corrects my problem and even makes the decision to not charge my credit card for the less than $2 difference between my store credit and the amount due for the running shoes I ordered. On top of this, the shoes were sitting on my doorstep tonight after I came home from work. I even wore them for my evening workout. How dare you do this in less than 20 hours after my mistake! You just set the customer service pole vault bar at 37 feet in my book! Terrific, terrific service. Thank you very much! I now consider myself a customer for life. You all will have to work very hard to make me buy a pair of shoes from another company. I’m new to Zappos and you can bet I will be looking to Zappos for other purchases! Many thanks... my next order will be tomorrow evening so I can surprise my wife with a new pair of Berks she wants, but actually needs... it isn’t always good to want things!
