The fit and comfort of the shoe is good. Not real crazy about the overall finish. Zappos service and shipping was outstanding.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: New Balance if made in the USA have a great fit and finish for wide feet

My experience with Zappos was outstanding. Their prices were very competitive. They had what I needed, which was a large pair of narrow low boots. Their delivery was super fast. I won't be back for another pair of boots anytime soon because Red Wings boots last a very long time.

Shoe was 1/2 a size too large. Also, I did not like the wedge - it is plastic, a little shiny, grandma-ish and unattractive. Front of shoe is cute.

Great Shoes -
I saw the shoes on-line 1st. Because I have such a narrow foot I went to Red Wing to try the shoes on. They said they would have to order them and it would take 2 weeks. Went back on-line ordered with my best guess and received the shoes in 2 days for the same price and did not have to pay sales tax. Shoes fit perfect and are very comfortable. And good looking. Great experience with Zappos.

Great shoe!
I bought this shoe because I use orthotics and because my feet tend to swell and render my shoes too large within 3-4 weeks after I buy them. I needed a shoe that laces up to my ankle, wasn't tight across the top of my foot, and didn't end up sliding up and down off my heel from the orthotic. This shoe accommodates all of that! After an initial break-in period where it was a bit uncomfortable around the ankle, this shoe is now absolutely perfect.
I'm not sure about sizing since, being a female, I normally wear women's shoes, but I went by the size charts provided by the Zappos website and this shoe fit perfectly. And thankfully, the styling isn't wholly man-ish and clunky. I guess you might call them "librarian-sensible." I wish they were less expensive, but if they hold up, they will have been worth every penny.

I actually wish they weren’t vegan, but they are soft for plastic and very comfy. Very cute! Seem a little wide, but that’s good for me. I’m on the wider side.

 |  | Dear Zappos, Okay, help me understand something. I place an on-line order last evening at about 8:00. I screw up how to use my store credit and can’t figure out how to fix it. I resort to calling your toll free number to fix my stupid mistake and expect to be on hold for at least 20 minutes. Wow is all I can say! A real live person answers the phone in two rings after I debated with myself whether or not to press the option for joke of the day. He corrects my problem and even makes the decision to not charge my credit card for the less than $2 difference between my store credit and the amount due for the running shoes I ordered. On top of this, the shoes were sitting on my doorstep tonight after I came home from work. I even wore them for my evening workout. How dare you do this in less than 20 hours after my mistake! You just set the customer service pole vault bar at 37 feet in my book! Terrific, terrific service. Thank you very much! I now consider myself a customer for life. You all will have to work very hard to make me buy a pair of shoes from another company. I’m new to Zappos and you can bet I will be looking to Zappos for other purchases! Many thanks... my next order will be tomorrow evening so I can surprise my wife with a new pair of Berks she wants, but actually needs... it isn’t always good to want things!
