Very nice boot for cold and wet winter days -
Ordered a half size down and this boot runs marginally large so am wearing thicker socks. Initially stiff leather, but comfortable after first wearing and ample room around the ankle/lower leg. This boot has a substantial feel and is warm and comfortable on a rainy Seattle day. Looks good with boot cut jeans and whilst not dressy, I have had a few comments on the sporty look of this boot. Go for it, be warm this winter!

Great looking, but not a good fit -
I have worn many Vaneli shoes, but I knew these boots were not going to work for me. They were a tad too narrow and there is no support in the ball of the foot. The design is wonderful and I hated to return them.

Great looking, but…
This is a great looking boot, but I am disappointed in the fit. Even though I ordered an extra wide, it hurts across the top of my foot and the leather is not very soft. I think I will need to return them. Too bad because they are very attractive. If you do not have any foot "issues", this boot may well work for you. I may need to splurge again on a pair of Ara boots which has the best quality leather of any Zappos shoes I have owned.

These boots are gorgeous and very comfortable. They look very elegant with pants or skirt/dress but I don't think that I'll wear them in the rain.

 |  | What fantastic service! If you check back on my account you will see that I have ordered 2 pairs of Uggs (1 returned for size), and a red Fossil handbag. I ordered the handbag on Labor Day and got the customary email from you. I was expecting a 4-5 day delivery time, and was a bit concerned as I'm returning to the UK on Saturday and thought I might not get it in time. The bag arrived on Tuesday, 1 day after I ordered it. I am highly delighted. The bag is great, the service I received was completely unexpected, and all of you in the operational departments should be really proud of the great service you gave. Believe me, I work in mail order and know how it all works and where it can go wrong. You at Zappos are obviously doing something right!
