Another great Earth Shoe - Owww, I have plantars fasciitis! Earth shoes really help. I bought these for a wedding and stood/walked all day and felt fine when I got home. It's nice to be able to find nice looking shoes and not suffer with a painful heel after wearing them.

Beautiful shoe - Earth Pirouette 4 is a beautifully made shoe. I have a wide foot with bunions and am an overpronator who must wear custom orthotics in athletic shoes. This shoe was a little narrower than the other Earth shoes I ordered. It put a little more pressure on the bunions than I would have liked. I would say this particular Earth shoe would be more suitable for a medium width foot. Although labeled as medium width, I was pleased that these Earth shoes in general fit a wide width foot as well as they do. The negative heel technology really takes the pressure off the bunions. Overpronation is not a problem. Now I have some dressy shoes. I am a believer. These Mary Jane style Earth shoes can be dressy or casual. I'm happy to have rediscovered them! Unfortunately I had to return this particular style. I'm very happy with the others, though.

Earth shoes a treasure!
The shoe is a great compromise between comfort and style. I have gone through numerous black shoes desperate to find ones that don't hurt my feet after a long day at the office. I can finally stop looking now.

Very cute shoe - I really like these, I haven't worn them too much, yet. I'm still getting used to the sole being smaller in the back. They are super cute and they are really comfortable.

Comfortable with socks -
These are cute and comfortable. I didn't feel the negative heel in this shoe as much as in the Arabesque, which is fine. My only complaint is that the shoe rubbed away at the back of my ankle, leaving me with a small scab. But when worn with socks (and a Band-Aid over that part of my ankle), they're just fine, and I can walk painlessly for hours. I'm hoping that, with time, I won't need the Band-Aid anymore.

Cute style! Pain gone!
I've been researching comfort shoes for a long time. I have slight scoliosis in my lower spine that makes one leg a tad shorter than the other and bunions on my feet, both of which make standing/walking for long periods of time painful. I discovered Earth shoes during a recent internet research expedition and decided to try these. After wearing these one day at work (I work retail and am on my feet all day), I didn't experience the familiar ache I normally get in my lower back and hips. I did experience some soreness in my calves, but I think this is due to the negative heel which caused my calves to stretch (a good thing) and maybe even gave them a bit of a workout. The only complaint I have (which is why I gave an overall of 4 stars), is that the leather is stiff. I'm hoping it will soften up with more wear. I usually don't wear socks, but I would recommend wearing nylons or thin dress socks while breaking them in. I'm going to try the Earth shoe "Proper" next.
