I love my boots! I have the western brown color, beautiful color. I can see where the zipper bothers some people and not others, it seems like the way it's designed, it's a hit or miss; on right upper ankle area started "biting" my leg, felt like tiny stings. And then I realized reading the reviews about this, strangely it didn't bother me on my left leg, only my right leg. I wear very thin high socks with my Uggs, it does help with the issue. The boots were very stiff at the beginning; I wore them in NYC, walking for a long long time, my feet did ache afterwards, being that they don't have very good arch support, but it wasn't too bad. I was able to walk in them for some time before they did start to become bothersome. I would not trade them in for anything. I'm very happy with my purchase! I am an 8.5, I ordered a size 7, they fit perfect. They were snug at first, but I broke them in the first day from my NYC walking for several hours. I would have ordered a size 7.5, if they came in 1/2 sizes, 8 would have felt too big. Good luck! They are very nice boots, definitely have a good weight to them, a sturdier boot than the original.

Not nearly as comfortable as classic Ugg. The side zipper is very uncomfortable. I would not recommend these boots nor would I purchase them again.

Ugg Mayfair in Cement Brown - A cute Ugg boot but I found it to be a bit on the wide side. Also, in the pair I received, I was disappointed in the quality of the shearling, particularly in the footbed - it felt very thin and I could foresee that these boots would probably last me only one season before the shearling would be completely worn out (I think that the boots that were made in Australia used much better quality shearling than the ones that are now made in China). Zappos service was, as always, excellent. Unfortunately, I will be returning these as the fit was too wide and for the price, I just didn't find the quality to be worth the cost.

These are my first pair of Uggs, and I'm happy with my purchase! I chose them because they are more shaped/fitted than other Ugg styles and have a shoe-like sole. I also like the unique color (which actually looks more like a light grey color). The multi-colored zipper adds style and function. I ordered a size smaller (as suggested by other reviewers) and it was right on.

For me comfort is the key, and that shoe was the key. Comfortable, it was unbelievable. I have told a lot of people and a lot of people ask me about it. I would recommend this shoe to everyone who asks me about them.

Okay, you definitely don't get Uggs because they make your feet look dainty! This is the third pair I tried, I figured they were a little bit more form-fitting than the Classics. I have a pair of "vintage" leather Uggs that I love, and was hoping to find a suede pair for casual wear. I like the shorter height of these, I think they are a bit more suitable for indoor wear. And it's great that skinny jeans and leggings are so "on trend" and work great with the height. My feet are on the narrow side so I opted to size down to a 7, I am normally a 7.5-8 in shoes, an 8 in boots. My feet just barely touch the tip of the shoes. I think my feet would really be swimming in the 8s, width-wise. These boots really run wide. I am still not sure I like how my feet look in them, but I can see how the "big feet" look can be cute with oversized sweaters and parkas in the winter. I was also hoping that the boot would be a bit more lightweight. I guess the warmth is the trade-off. I do love the style as a whole; the suede is absolutely gorgeous and the zipper is very unique and looks great. I think if they made the foot a tad bit narrower, it would be perfect. The placement of the zipper on the outside of the boot does make it more difficult to zip up. But my feet and calves are narrow enough that I don't actually have to use the zipper. I did notice that the zipper does loosen up with use. I have to admit though, I did not order my pair from Zappos; I wanted the Sand color, which was not carried by Zappos. A shame, because Zappos is my first love!

I am very happy with these boots. I ordered my normal size, which was fine. The zipper does not bother me as it did other reviewers. Zappos upgraded the shipping and I had the boots the very next day at no extra charge.

I bought these boots 1 year ago and thought I would update my review to show how they have held up. First of all, these boots were beautiful when I first received them. Very warm and very comfortable. I liked the black ones so much that I also picked up the sand color. When I took them out of the closet this fall for the first cold day here, I realized that the insole is not replaceable like in other Uggs, so the sheepskin has worn down considerably. The nice structured look of the outside of the boot has also become lumpy after wearing them so much, and the back heel of the sole is also worn down. Most surprisingly, when I wore them for the first time this year (after wearing them constantly for 3 months last year) they actually rubbed blisters on both of my back heels. It looks like the sheepskin has worn away right behind the seam at the heel. I also own the Classics and Ultimates and have not have these problems with either of them, I\'m guessing it\'s because both of those styles have thicker sheepskin than the Mayfaire. Overall, these are very cute boots, but don\'t expect them to be as comfortable if you want to wear them for more than one winter.

Great winter boot!
I ordered a size smaller based on the reviews I read. However, I had to return and get my normal size since the first pair was just too short. These boots are super comfortable and look really cute. I got the cement brown and they really are darker in person, which is nice. I recommend the stain/water repellent to keep them looking new. Zappos' shipping and returns are awesome! Can't beat them!

Love the easy on and off. I have a very high instep so the zipper is a must. Most boots I can not even get into unless they have a zipper. Warm and comfortable, you will enjoy these boots. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than I wear and so far it’s working great. They aren't broken in yet, but soon the real cold will be here and they'll get lots of use.

I just bought these boots yesterday and I love them! They are so cute! I have searched for the perfect pair of Uggs and I really think these are going to be it. They have a very sturdy sole, they are fashionable, and they fit a little snugger then the traditional Ugg. I really love Uggs, but I didn't like the way they feel so sloppy after a while, but I don't think that will happen with these because they are more structured! We have very nasty winters here so I'm looking forward to keeping warm in these boots!

Can\'t wait to wear my new Uggs! I got these in the cement brown color, and they actually look a little darker than they do in the picture. I\'m actually happy because I worried they\'d be too light. I love the color because it\'s neutral enough to go with anything. I\'ve been wearing them around the house and they are just as comfortable as my regular Uggs, but way more stylish. I just love them. Another reviewer mentioned finding these boots a bit cheaper on another site, but I wouldn\'t bother shopping anywhere else. You just can\'t beat Zappos with free shipping on returns and superior customer service. Thanks again, Zappos. You never disappoint.

I love Zappos.com, but I found this same pair of boots for a lot less, with free shipping, at Onlineshoes.com. That's quite a difference in price! They are the same exact pair of authentic Uggs. Sorry Zappos!

I was leary of buying UGGs because of the price but I'm glad I did. They are really great and warm. I ordered a 5 though I usually wear a 6 and they were snug at first, but they felt perfect after 2 days. I got the Mayfaire and they are really cute with the zipper. I wear them barefoot and have not had any issues with the zipper rubbing my ankle. They are comfortable and fun to wear. This was my first order from Zappos and I love the customer service. They were wonderful and I've already ordered other shoes from them and I am thoroughly happy every time!!!

Ugg mayfair -
Love my ugg mayfair - I normally wear a size 8 but bought the 7. They were a bit snug at first, but after a few days the fleece flattens and are a perfect fit. I would recommend the mayfair to everyone. I have received sooooo many compliments...just love my uggs!

Love My Ugg Mayfaire-I bought the size 10 - Fits my 10.5 wide foot like a dream. Love the chestnut suede and the outside side zipper. Much of the time with skinny leg pants, I leave them unzipped because it looks funky. There was a tiny bit of break in time to soften and form fit the boot to my liking but nothing uncomfortable.

Nice looking boot -
I've been looking for a cool looking pair of winter boots for months and finally settled on these. They look great. The only downside is that they have almost no arch support.

Warm, comfy and oh so stylish!
I tried on my sister's pair of classic Ugg's 3 weeks ago when visiting my family, and I fell in love!! Before this I was adamant that I would not jump on the Ugg bandwagon and buy a pair because I thought they were Ugg-ly! But, after I tried on my sister's pair, I broke down and decided to buy a pair. After an afternoon worth of research, I decided on the Mayfaire style. This style is comfortable and keeps my chronically cold feet warm in the wet and cool weather in the Pacific Northwest. Plus, very stylish with the multicolored side zipper. I've had compliments on this shoe the first week I wore. I've had no problems with the zipper rubbing on my ankle. It does have poor arch support and is a bit stiff compared to the classic Ugg, but broke it in after 1 week. I typically wear a size 8 and had to size 1 whole size down to 7 and fits perfectly with or without socks!

Love them but...
I am use to my uggs classic so purchasing this new uggs had to get some use to. They are comfy and very cute; however, looking at them when I have them on, they look so HUGE!!!! Still a great boots! I normally wear a size 8m, and got a size 7. The 7 fits great!

Just What I Was Looking For -
I was hesitant to get Uggs because I always thought they looked sloppy, but these are stylish enough to get past that, and once you get them on they are comfortable and cozy enough to make you forget about all previous objections. Do order one size smaller than usual and make sure to water-treat before wearing.

True to its size... very comfortable -
Bought this type, just because of my big calves, and they are really nice. Firmer than the original design of UGGs. Also, the front is nicer looking - rounder.

Careful of the zipper -
I tried them on in the house and they seemed warm and cozy, then I wore them out for a long urban walk. The zipper in the left boot tore my ankle up. I still have a big scab weeks later. I ordered this model due to my high arch and troubles with slip-on boots. Wear them around the house for a long while before deciding you are keeping them.

I called yesterday to exchange sneakers for a larger size, and late last night ordered some girly shoes, and this morning BOTH the sneakers and the shoes were at my door! I am stunned! Today I called a different place to order a specialty item (after checking Zappos site for something similar first, of course) and there is just no comparison whatsoever.
