I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks now. They look great and they are comfortable but they still have a nasty squeak in them that’s really getting on my nerves. Hopefully it will go away after I wear them in some more.

Best shoe I've ever owned.
The comfort of this shoe may initially lead you to believe that they fit larger than marked. Give it some time. The shoes fit great and are very comfortable.

Stylish and comfortable -
I bought these shoes for one of my sons, for a trip to the East Coast. He and several friends spent a week, walking around New York and Boston checking out various colleges, eating out and going to some shows. Needless to say, he needed some nice looking shoes that were comfortable. These shoes were perfect for the job. In spite of his walking around in some snowy weather, when he came home, I took them to the shoe cobbler, and they polished up good as new, with hardly a mark on them. The leather is sturdy yet soft. Clean, timeless, stylish lines. He wears them often; even to his formal dances. I have since bought another pair.

No luck for me -
For me, these shoes seemed too small and hot, and they developed a squeak. The shoe has no noticeable step shock absorption, and the build quality did not live up to what the brand boasts (or maybe just my high hopes). On the plus side, the looks are nice, and the leather seemed good quality.

Perhaps...
The greatest shoe ever invented so I bought a pair in brown and black. The leather has a very rich look and they are super comfortable.

Excellent Design & Comfort, Material Concerns -
Very impressed with comfort, with a great out of the box feel. Very reasonably priced. However, I bumped the top of the toe on a concrete step, and this resulted in a blemish/peel spot immediately. The outer black/shiny layer may be very susceptible to scuff marks. I have not yet tried to buff/polish the area. -Ian

Had I to do it over again, would have ordered one-half size larger. Otherwise, excellent shoes look great, happy I bought them.

Wonderful Shoes -
Putting these shoes on the first time was like slipping into a glove; the leather was soft and already felt as though I had worn them for some time. I believe these will be worth the little bit of extra cost based on my experience over the first few weeks.

 |  | You need a portal just for testimonials! I am an enthusiastic fan of Zappos! I live overseas but I have a home in USA. I shop the latest styles and fashions on Zappos.com in Denmark, ship them to my USA address and pay with my Danish bank card...no hassle. Your “competition” will not allow me to do that and they place the burden of identity verification on me. When I try to place an order from Denmark to ship to my house in USA they cancel my order. When I call in to determine why they do not use a more sophisticated method of credit card verification like “Verify by Visa” they tell me they cannot reinstate the order. I spend about 3K per month in shoes alone and I am more than happy buying them all from Zappos now. I shop Zappos exclusively now for the great customer service, ease of use, selection and confidence in knowing that the purchases I make will be honored in a way that provides service to the customer. I started with buying shoes, I am now looking at all the other wonderful things Zappos offers as a result of the service and value provided through this company!
