These are by far the best thong I have ever owned and I have owned more thongs than I can count. Oh, and Zappos is the best of the best.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. I bought a pair three years ago and wore them out. They're hard to find in stores, but run true to size if you decide to buy them online. Well worth the price.

Purchased this sandal based upon customer reviews and previous business with Zappos. Once again the reviews were right on. Since I have a high arch I wanted sandals that would provide for this and the OluKai Kumu does exactly that. I also ordered a half size larger (11) than my normal shoe size (10.5) and that was the right move. To my surprise, Zappos added expedited shipping at no extra charge. Now this is the way to run a company! Thanks Zappos!

Easily the best flip-flops I've ever owned! Comfortable right out of the box, the leather is supple and smooth. No blisters or hotspots, and I've been wearing them almost non-stop for 3 days. A great balance between weight, cushion, and support. Arch support is "good" (but not as good as a Birkenstock). Practically no "flip-flopping" noise. I wear an 11/44 in Birk, 11 in Teva, 12 in Chacos; and these OluKai 12's fit perfectly. Wearing them to the office with slacks right now, and they don't feel out of place. I felt strange spending this much, but they are worth every penny, as they are not your average flip-flop. I tried the Opihis, but I found these Kumus far better for just a little more.

These are very comfortable and look great but are a bit expensive. I had a pair of Reefs prior to these and they were not as comfy. If these were slightly cheaper, then I would highly recommend and give them a 5 star rating.

Olukai sandals are BY FAR worth the money! They are a wonderful sandal with great support!!Reef is a great sandal but these are by far a superior sandal. I wear Olukai sandals all the time, weather permitting. I turned my family on to them in Hawaii and now that is all they wear. A big thumbs up!

Overall I am very happy with my Olukais. I think that the fit is true. I wear a 10 in most shoes and I purchased a 9 in these. I wear my sandals small so that they are the same length as my foot and I think these fit perfect. They are stiff at first and will take some breaking in. I had some blisters after the first use but by the time I had worn them 3 or 4 times, they were already feeling very comfortable. I think they are the best pair of sandals that I have owned. I have had Reef\'s (leather and cloth strapped), Chaco\'s and various thongs. I think these are the most durable, stylish and comfortable (after break in period). I would recommend them to anyone.

2nd pair! First pair lasted a couple of years with constant wear anytime the temp was above 60 deg. They probably would have lasted longer, but they were one of my black labs favorite things to carry around. I love these sandals - very, very comfortable. They have a very nice arch in them for a sandal and the leather on the foot bed just feels great! I wear a size 11 shoe, and I got these in a size 12 and they fit perfect, so you might consider going up a size.

These Kumu's are absolutely rad! I read all the reviews before I bought a pair and although there was one unhappy customer; the rest of the feedback was very good. These are definitely the most comfortable flips I have ever worn. The arch support is fantastic, and I can wear these all day and my feet don't get tired at all. There was no break in period for me, and they just keep getting better and better the more I wear them. My new favorite brand...way to go OluKai!

Olu Kai flip flop/sandal -
My first pair of Olu Kai I wore out and will not EVER buy any other flip flop AGAIN. I looked everywhere and could not find my size, then I checked ZAPPOS... I initially ordered them in the KOA color, but received them in a bit darker color and actually liked the darker color better so I kept them. Besides this little error, I HIGHLY recommend these to any body who has foot issues. With not finding the PERFECT fit and comfort, these are almost Birkenstock like in that they will mold to your feet for the PERFECT FIT. The price is worth every penny...

After reading all of the wonderful reviews, I thought that I would pay the high price for these flip flops. What a mistake! I'm not sure I can trust the good reviews on this site after wearing these uncomfortable slabs for the last week. Out of the box they felt fairly comfortable but very heavy. The leather straps were very rough on the edges and needed a few days to break in. The arch support was mediocre at best. I had been wearing them for just over a week before I couldn't take it anymore. Due to their excessive weight, the straps stretched out causing them to be very loose on my feet and difficult to walk in. I switched back to Reefs for half the price, half the weight and double the arch support. Even my old Sperry's were more comfortable than these.

This flip flop is the MOST comfortable flip flop I have ever worn. The arch is great, it offers a lot of support. I bought two additional pair after my first one! HIGHLY recommend. You will never wear another brand.

Best Flops -
These are great flops. Look good, feel good, and great arch support. I have tried many (Sperry, Reef, O’Neill) and these are my favorite. The sole is a hard rubber so you don't feel rocks and rough surfaces like some. The leather footbed feels great. They combine good looks with comfort and solid components that should make them last longer than some other brands.

Best shoe ever -
I have plantar fasciitis in both feet. I was told I cold never wear flip flops again by my doctor. But these give me all the support I need. I was amazed at how comfortable they are. I tried my old flops and felt like I was walking on straight pavement, after wearing these. Great shoe!

This is the most comfortable shoe I own. I've had them about a year now and they still look and feel great. I have a medium-high arch and I have all the support I want. As another reviewer stated, opt for these, not the more expensive Hiapos, the footbed on these is better.

Very comfortable, but needs breaking in -
These are very comfortable out of the box, the leather footbed is great. After walking in them for a couple of hours, the top of my feet were getting a little sore spot from the leather lining of the strap. I suppose this will get better as they break in.

Barely Missed Being The Best Flop EVER!!!
The OluKai Kumu could have easily been the best flop I've ever owned. I STILL give it a 9.5 out of 10. The only drawback is that it doesn't have a braided leather strap thong. The arch support is beyond belief. It took me 2 days to break mine in, but I immediately shot hoops and used them after swimming. As a flip-flop aficionado, I know how to break in a pair. Don't waste your time and money on the Hiapos. I tried 3 different varieties and they were all terrible. Are the Kumus worth the price? I think they will last me about 3 years comfortably, so therefore I think they are. I have the Coal/Coal pair, which on this flop... is perfect except for the strap thong not being braided leather.

These flips are the BEST you can get. They feel great...look great and will last a long, long time. The arch support is perfect and the flips stay close to your foot...I have lots of flips and I choose these every time I go out!!! They cost a little more, but, they are well worth it.

The best flip flop on the market. Great quality and workmanship. Yes they are expensive, but worth it. These are not for romping through the water, as they are made of leather. Great for wearing pretty much anywhere but to get into water.

Nice sandal, but I would recommend ordering a size larger than your shoe size. They will take a few days to break in.
