Good but the strap is too wide/long. I have narrow feet, and I needed to tighten the strap so much so that the end of the strap was dragging on the floor! I returned them. Oh well.

This was my second pair of the J-41 Sierra. I bought the tan ones a couple of years ago and still wear them. They feel like old shoes right from the start and feel great without socks. They look cute, but feel like an athletic shoe. I never have foot or leg fatigue when wearing these, even if I'm on my feet all day. Highly recommended!

I love the look of these shoes and they have great arch support. The first day I wore them, I got huge blisters on the back of my feet, but now that they are broken in, I can wear them without issue.

This is my second pair of J-41 Sierras. I bought the beige ones last year and wore them all summer. They still look brand new! I loved them so much; I decided to order the black ones this year. So far, they are also wonderful. I spend a lot of time on my feet and these shoes are comfortable without being clunky or heavy. I can wear them without socks and they look nice with casual or slightly dressy clothes. And, they're vegan!

GREAT summer shoe! I wore the white ones all last summer... with skirts, capris, jeans... they are a perfect versatile shoe. I also ordered the Aquarius style which is much bulkier... I do not find these bulky at all and they are very lightweight but with decent arch support. I was planning to order another pair for this summer, but when I looked at mine, I realized they were still in great shape! I wish they came in more colors!

Not what I was hoping for -
These looked bulkier in person than they do in the picture. The mesh looking fabric is a lot thicker than it looks and isn't as breathable as I was hoping for. These are going back.

Very comfortable -
Like the other reviews, I think there is a very short break in period. The heel is a little stiff in the beginning. I wore socks with these shoes for 3 or 4 days and that was all it took. Shortly after that I took these on a trip where I traveled, rode bikes, hiked, all without socks and they felt really comfortable.

Love These Shoes -
These shoes are the most comfy! It only took an hour or so for them to feel like an old shoe for me. I ordered a half size bigger and they ended up being a tiny bit big. They definitely stretch out a little so order your true size. They are the kind of shoes that end up being your faves and are on my feet all the time. They go with so much! Loved them!

They hurt!
These shoes are really cute, but they really hurt your feet. I have been trying to break them in, but it has not been easy. They are not supple in any way, so they give you blisters on your heels. They are true to size and do not slip which is a plus. But breaking them in has been a nightmare!

I have to agree with most of the other reviews. These are very cute and "will" be very comfortable. Despite taking precautions, having read about the heel causing blisters, these took a good bite out of the back of my right ankle. It has finally healed and I plan to put a band-aid over that spot for awhile.
Despite that, I must say, these are VERY comfortable and exactly what I was looking for in terms of form and function. I plan to wear these while traveling, both on the plane and walking around. They look adorable with a sundress which is super important since that's pretty much all I'm packing for an upcoming trip to Greece & Italy.
They're very lightweight, breathe well and have good support. I got them in the white/green melon color and they're much more neutral than they look in the picture. When they're on you really can't tell there is any green at all. They might be a tiny bit big, but the strap across the top keeps them securely on without rubbing ay all. I checked "True to size" because I don't think they are a whole half size large, had I gotten a half size smaller they would be too small. I think I will actually be very happy with the size at the end of the day, especially when flying, when my feet tend to be a little swollen.
So, overall I love them, just a little first day problem. All the pros of these shoes hugely outweigh that one negative.

Having a foot with a newly healed broken bone, a terrible bunion and a hammer toe and working on my feet - I'm thrilled to find a shoe this comfortable and flexible. Great at work and home too - even yard work. Adjustable velcro closure allows for swelling during day and easy on/off.

Cool Comfy and Cute -
These are my first pair of J-41's. They are sporty yet cute and office wearable. :) As a working student, they are exactly what I was looking for in shoes.
I did find when I wore these shoes; I needed to wear bandaids on the back of my feet for the first few weeks to prevent the rubbing problem from happening. Otherwise, I love these shoes!!

I love the look of the Sierra - great with jeans, capris, and casual skirts. It's a stretchy shoe, however, and I found my usual size, 8.5, to be too big and went with an 8 instead, which is perfect (I'm normally an 8.5 to a 9). It's comfortable and flexible, and I'm hoping they hold up well.

LOVE this shoe! Unlike most J-41s, no break in period. I usually have trouble with the straps across the widest part of the foot, but this is a dream. Got the cream color, which looks great with shorts, capris, even skirts. And it's comfy enough for long walks.

Great Vegan Shoe -
It is really hard to find a vegan shoe that is stylish and comfortable. I wanted a shoe like this, but all I could find were leather. When I saw this shoe, it was exactly what I had been looking for. I usually do not pay this much for shoes, but after wearing these shoes, they are worth the price. The fit is comfortable and true to size. The only problem is that the straps which have velcro can get caught on your hosiery. I am hoping for more vegan shoes! Go Vegans!

Getting used to them...
These shoes KILLED on my heels for a couple of weeks, but are finally breaking in. I still don't feel comfortable walking more than a mile in them, so I wouldn't wear them if I was going to be on my feet all day, but they are comfy and great for a day at the office. I do get lots of compliments on them!

I want to love these shoes...
...But I'm having trouble loving them. They look great. When I wear them with socks, they feel great. If I wear them without socks (which is really what I bought them for), they pull on the skin behind my ankle, and cause blistering and cutting. But only on my left foot! These shoes are 90% perfect, but I may have to send them back...

Very comfy & cute vegan shoe -
I bought this in the white/melon color and it is the greatest shoe! It is extremely comfortable, and lets my foot spread out - I hate cramped feet. It is cute like a little ballerina flat but stays on very securely due to the little velcro strap across the top. The insole is super thick and padded, so my feet are feeling very comfy. Love this vegan shoe! Perfect with pants, shorts, skirts.

This is a great shoe for the summertime. Comfortable from the beginning, no break in time at all. Walked all day in it and did find that the top of the shoe was rubbing against the top of my toes. But otherwise great.

These are even cuter than I thought they'd be! Things I love: great neutral color (I got the stone/moss), look is sporty so it goes great with capris and shorts or with casual jeans or pants, inside wipes clean and doesn't get funky (like some fabric insoles), great grippy sole, they slip on and off quite easily. The only thing that initially bothered me is that they do ride up a bit on the heels (which broke in after a few wears) and the top cuts across the joint of my big toe… rubs it a bit, but it's loosening up, too. Overall, they're a great shoe and I'd buy 'em again!

Wedding Photographer Tested -
I bought these shoes to wear at an upcoming wedding I was shooting. So comfort meets style was what I was aiming for with this purchase. J-41 nailed the style part. And I love the breathy mesh. But alas they were not as comfy as I had hoped. The heels do rub though buying some heel inserts solved the problem for me. The worst was the rubbing along that large bone above the big toe where the shoe opening sits. I do have wide feet so that’s probably why. And I also found them to be a bit sticky on the insole. Also of note they made a slight farting sound at first. I love and possibly adore the look of these shoes and having worn them in now for about a month they are okay.

 |  | Didn’t know where to send a note to the full staff so I’m putting it here. I haven’t shopped Zappos for a few years (how many Birkies can one gal wear at a time)! I’ve hunted and hunted for boots. Not much call for tall boots in the Phoenix area, but the styles changed this year so I wanted to get with it. I hate going to stores so I tried the internet, thought I found gold, but ended up returning because they were too loose or too tall or too short. The light bulb went off and I came back to Zappos and they had calf and height measurements listed - what a brilliant idea!!! I found black suede and grey leather and I had them at my front door a day later! How much better could it get: both pairs fit!!! Please post this for all employees so they can know their efforts are very much appreciated... you all could teach the rest of the corporate world how it should be done.
