Runs a full size smaller than marked -
Just a quick warning: this shoe ran easily a FULL size smaller than marked. In fact, that may be an underestimate, I've never seen shoes marked as a size 12 that were this tiny! LOL, looked like a 10 1/2. I actually liked the feel of this shoe, very light and more importantly, the sole felt cushier than the New Balances I usually wear, but New Balances fit my wide feet and high arches much better.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Try New Balance if you have wide or slightly wide feet.

Updated review after 4 months of wear -
After having worn this show for a full four months I am downgrading my overall impression. The main reason for the downgrade are the very inferior insoles. Never in my 30+ years of buying running shoes have I had a pair of insoles wear out so quickly and drastically. The Saucony insoles that came with this pair are the first ever insoles that wore completely through into holes in two or three spots on each insole; at the heel, under ball of big toe, and middle of forefoot area. I'm 5-10 and 150 lbs., average 20 miles/week, combo of moderate jog and power walk. Otherwise the shoe is well made and good looking with a decent price. But will not buy this shoe again because of the cheap insoles. Am looking at the Mizuno Wave Rider 12 for next pair.

Great right out of the box -
I bought these shoes because of my high arch, neutral stride, and heavier weight (190 lbs). I put in about 25 miles per week. First, Zappos was great. I ordered online while on a business trip and they were waiting for me at home when I returned a couple days later. The shoes fit well right out of the box. I'm not a fan of the marshmallow feel of most neutral cushion shoes, so the medium amount of cushion in these shoes is just right. I have 150 miles on them now and they are still performing well.

Great shoes for anyone -
These shoes were comfortable from the minute I first put them on. I was looking for style and support and this pair does it all. At times my feet swell and these shoes are still comfortable. I give them A++

I bought these based on recommendations in running magazines. These fit perfectly (I bought one size larger than my normal shoe size), and they provide a great ride, just soft enough to feel the running surface. A great value, they appear to be very well made.

First Zappos order, very pleased overall -
First I must say that the customer service from Zappos is as good as it gets, period. Monday I order the shoes reg. ground shipment but I surprisingly get them the next day, still free shipping. But the Jazz 12 fits a bit tight so I call a rep and discuss exchanging for a pair 1/2 size larger. Instantly the rep emails me a prepaid UPS label for returning the first pair and tells me the replacement shoes will be shipped out that night and should arrive at my address the next day! Well, the next day is here and an hour ago the replacement pair arrives, still free shipping, and I haven't sent the first pair back yet! Unbelievable speed and service. Zappos goes the extra mile and then some. Okay, the shoes. I don't rate a 5 star overall because I haven't run in them yet. But they fit very well and feel comfortable so a 5 star in that dept. I don't give a 5 star for looks and it would be hard for me to give any running shoe a 5 star because I prefer a more boring look; most running shoes are too flashy looking and actually this shoe is one of the more toned down models imo. I'll like them a lot more after a month of breaking in and dirtying up some.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I'll probably order the New Balance walking shoe MW659 soon.

Very Nice Shoe -
I have been a rather serious runner for about 30 years. I am 48 years old and weigh about 180 lbs. I have a neutral foot strike. I currently run about 40 miles a week. Recently I have tried the Nike Vomero 3 and Adidas Supernova Cushion. This is the best shoe that I have tried in a few years. It is light-weight but has just the right amount of cushion for me. Everyone is different. The Jazz does not have as much cushion as the Vomero but has enough so that I don't feel the road. I do not like a shoe with a lot of cushion. Again, everyone is different and has different needs.

For lighter weight trainer this is a winner - I purchased the Jazz because it was lighter than my Saucony ride, but slightly heavier then my Sinsiters. I wanted something in between to run Lactate Threshold runs and marathons. I ran 17 miles out of the box and they felt just about perfect. The ride has a more comfortable feel but only slightly cause of a little more room in the toe box.
