NEW BALANCE MT608 -
Was not crazy about the "fashionable" attributes once they arrived, but performance and quality are superb. Would recommend to any avid runner or walker.

Not a bad shoe but the sole started to peel in the back the third time I wore them. Now it is coming loose in other places. I will probably send them back.

Feather-weight comfort for wide feet!
These shoes are an absolute dream. I've never owned a pair of shoes lighter or more comfortable than these (I wear a 14 Wide, so I'm used to heavy shoes). They're so light and comfortable it's like your wearing nothing at all. Very good support too and the mesh uppers really help with breathability and ventilation. Overall, a great buy. Highly recommended. Zappos customer service is beyond words... one of the best stores on the net. I purchase all of my shoes from Zappos without hesitation.

I have wide feet and these are the first 4E width athletic shoes I have ever bought. They fit great and I realize that I have always worn shoes that were way too tight. Great shoe!

Having large wide feet, it is difficult to find shoes that fit. I of course ordered the wrong size on the first try. I called customer service and Karen was great. They sent me the original pair and the right size replacements within 48 hours of the original order. No more shoe stores for me!

I have not worn the shoes much, but they fit right out of the box [rarely happens]. 99% of the shoes I order are returned, so I was thrilled to have found the MT608. I have VERY wide feet and the bulk is in the toe box area. I also ordered two other brands in wide widths, and the MT608 was the only one that fit well [others were too narrow]. I just may get another pair!

What I've come to expect.
Pulled the insoles that came with them out and put in orange Superfeet insoles - PERFECT! I need a little extra room in my trail run shoes and these shoes felt right from the moment I put them on for the first time. Before this I tried shoes by The North Face and Adidas and both brands felt too tight in the toe box for how I run. These have replaced my worn out Teva X1s for off-road.

Too Big, but a Nice Shoe -
My normal size ordered turned out to be much too big in both length and width, so these got returned. They did seem to be a very well made shoe, with great looks. No option for a smaller width made me turn to a different brand.
Great service from Zappos, as always.

I can rely on New Balance for size and quality -
I have an odd-shaped foot--narrow at the heels and wide at the toes. Once I discovered wide New Balance shoes, I've been comfortable. I know that any time I need running shoes I can buy New Balance 11.5 EE and they will fit perfectly. Not so with other brands. This week, I purchased and returned (thanks zappos.com for making it easy) a pair of Adidas running shoes of that size and they were not wide enough.
I have tried other brands and the sizes seem to shift from style to style of shoes. Not so with NB shoes.
This particular style of NB shoes seems nice. I wore them running this morning and they were quite comfortable.
Thanks Zappos.com. I will buy every pair of shoes from you as long as I live. You make this so easy for guys with fat feet.

Out of the box these are like a great pair of socks. Fit in all of the right places and surprisingly light. I've always been a big fan of New Balance and these shoes are part of the reason why.

Middle of the road shoe -
Could be more comfortable. Wear them at work for about 13 hours and you see what a shoe is made of. This one is not quite there. The tongue slips to the side because it is not fastened to the upper. Very annoying.

The fit of the shoe was a little stiff for me. I prefer a softer shoe so my toes can bend and lateral movements are made with ease. I will be sending them back for a pair of Saucony shoes.

Good shoe so far. Hopefully the bottom will not wear out as quickly as some of the other NB shoes. I have orthotics and they fit great inside.

1st Zappos Order -
I had 5 foot surgeries & to find a sneaker in my size and width that didn't hurt was mission impossible. This athletic shoe is so comfortable, my feet say ah!!!! Relief!!!!!!!!! Right out of the box, the sneakers felt great, and the service was Super. Thank you Zappos, you have a customer here for life!!!!!!

 |  | Tony, I would address you as sir, however, I just found out that not only are you younger than I, but we also wear the same uniform to work...T- shirt and jeans. So there will be no false formalities. I wanted to write and let you know how thrilled I was with my first Zappos experience. I purchased a couple pair of shoes online last Saturday evening in preparation for a trip to Ireland this Saturday. I wasn't sure if I should upgrade to the faster shipping option so I called the 24/7 helpline. I reached Kimberly, who advised me to go ahead and click "send" and she would adjust the shipping to "next day" at no extra charge. In doing this, she advised, we would still have time to make any changes should there be a problem with the shoes. I was expecting a Tuesday delivery and was amazed to have the shoes on my doorstep by 10:00 a.m. Monday morning. Wow! One pair didn't fit so well, so I called to see about returning them. I spoke with Karen, and once again was thrilled to speak with someone both friendly and knowledgeable. Incidentally, the shoes that I ordered in exchange, arrived on Wednesday. About half an hour ago I got a call from James asking if I had time to take a short survey concerning my Zappos experience. Needless to say, your company and people received top marks from me. The impression that I am left with after speaking to three different people is that your employees really care about pleasing the customer. The enthusiasm and sincerity to do right by me never felt scripted, false, or overzealous in any way, just real people actually wanting to help a real person.
