These shoes did not look very good at all. They took a long time to break in and I did not like them. Once they were broken in they were a little better, but I liked the Nike Sidelines much better.

Musique Cheer--OK for some things, but not for dance.
I'd hoped that the "spin spot" would allow SOME spinning on a decent floor, but no such luck. The location of the spot is too far towards the arch, and it just isn't smooth/hard enough. That said, these are really comfortable, fit great, and I can teach in them, but can't slide or spin at all. Maybe if I wear them on the street for a few years they'll get more slippery...
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Bloch Split Sole dance sneakers...

I am starting my 3rd winter with my black clogs. They have gone from Arkansas to the Bavarian Alps. My daughter liked mine so much that she is about to order her second pair. I have been in rain, snow and ice with them and they have performed will. Very comfortable and long lasting. Mine still look new.

Great looking shoe, even in an 11. Great overall support, but a little lacking in arch support (I tucked in a Dr. Scholl’s and that took care of it for me). I'm very happy and will probably pick up a second pair.

Fits true to street shoe size, but a person with long toes would want 1/2 size larger because the toe box is squared off and not deep. Shoe outer sole is split but shoe does not twist or flex at the instep like a dance sneaker does.

 |  | You're pretty awesome. Let me count the ways: 1. You make it easy for me to find great shoes. That should be enough. BUT I SOLDIER ON. 2. Pretty darn good website. There are lil' bugs here and there (sometimes narrowing a search doesn't totally work, but for the most part it does), but comparing you folks to some other nightmarish sites I've used, especially with the sheer amount of product you have for me to see...well done. 3. Convenience. HOLY CONVENIENCE, BATMAN! Much like Ian McKaye of the band Fugazi, I am a patient boy, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait. But when I order from you I don't have to. I've had shoes get to me so fast I actually thought there must have been a mistake because it got to me TOO quickly. Guys, that is some serious service. This is why I buy shoes exclusively from you. 4. Customer Service. I had a store credit recently, but like an idiot, I deleted the email with the credit code. I called up and talked to a totally friendly, funny, helpful guy. He said he'd take care of emailing me the code and all would be right with the world. OH NOES! The email, actually never showed up. So I called back and spoke with a totally friendly, funny, helpful girl (with a completely pretty voice, I'll be honest) and she got me a coupon code while I was on the phone (THAT'S good turnaround) and explained that there were the dreaded *technical difficulties* and the other dude didn't actually screw up. Guys, I've never talked to a company on the phone and ended with such a good feeling. I have friends that I don't enjoy talking to on the phone that much. Close friends. Is it ok if I just call to talk sometime? I'm kidding. Maybe. 5. You ALL seem to have a sense of humor. You guys are frakkin' funny! Your email, any of the “dig deeper” sort of stuff (blogs, joke of the day, etc.). That is beyond refreshing, thank you so much :) Honestly, as long as you guys are around, you got my bidness.
