These shoes look deceptively comfortable. If you can sit around all day they are fine. But if you have to walk at all, avoid them. They gave me terrible blisters.

Too small! This shoe was ordered in 11W and was more narrow than a shoe by the same brand in 11M. Also, the inside lining was peeling off. Cheaply made, just like many other Fitzwell shoe reviews and much more narrow than stated.

I got these shoes for my daughter, who is in 6th grade. They fit well and she has not had any blister issues. Cute shoe.

The sizing on the black nappa pair is unreliable. I couldn't figure out why one review says runs true to size, and the Zappos site says order up a full size. I tried my true size, and it was half a size too small, so I ordered half a size up, and it's way too big, easily another whole shoe size up from true size. I give up; both pairs go back. But the black suede 8-1/2 fit my reliably size 8 perfectly.

The sizing for these shoes is a joke; I would like to see the person who fits in the regular width of these shoes. The "wide" shoes are in no way wide as other reviewers have mentioned. I can't really comment on any other parts of the shoe because they were that tiny.

Great shoe: simple, classy and comfortable. I found the sizes (contrary to what some people have said) actually run half a size larger than standard. I usually wear a 6.5 and the 6.5 is definitely too large for me. Otherwise, fantastic shoe!

I bought these for my 16 year old daughter and she loves them. She wears them with dresses, jeans, leggings, etc. They are a little big bet she has a narrow foot. I hope they prove durable.

Disappointing at best. Ordered 2 sizes above normal and still pinchy. Also, the dreaded toe cleavage! Don\'t like the fit, feel or style of this shoe, though I am a fan of Fitzwell in general. I like the French Sole Zeppa much better.

Goldilocks eventually got it just right -
I have ordered at least 5 pairs of flats from Zappos the past 3 months (and returned all of them) and i FINALLY found a pair of flats that fit perfectly. Granted, they are a little snug which is perfect cause flats stretch out withiin a week of wearing them around. This pair is super cute in patent leather and fits according to size. There is no need to order a half a size up or down. However after reading the other reviews i decided to order it in a wider fit (W) rather than the regular width (M) i usually buy my shoes in, and the shoe fits perfectly considering the fact that i have narrow feet. I just became a huge fan of this brand(Fitzwell). The sole is pretty sturdy and has decent arch support compared to other brands that produce flats where there is minimum arch support or any support at all even though the shoe is super cute(Jessica Simpson brand) After trying on so many shoes I highly recommend this one if you are looking for a decent pair of flats.

Gist of my review: trying a half a size smaller than usual (not bigger) and they are slightly narrow, but will definitely stretch to a nice fit with some wear! Will update my review if half-size smaller is not enough! The customer service lady said that there is a 1/6 inch difference in length between sizes! First off, I've ordered Fitzwell shoes before (ankle boots) and I loved them, so I figured I would give their flats a try. I'm normally a 7 and 1/2, so that's what I ordered. I actually ordered the ankle boots in a size 8 so I could wear thick socks with them (when I lived in Michigan), so I figured a 7 and 1/2 would fit fine. Turns out that I had at least a 1/2 inch gap between my ankle and the back of the shoe. I want a more snug fit because I've found that with flats, they tend to stretch to a perfect fit (especially leather ones). I called Zappos the same day I received my order to let them know the 7 and 1/2 was too big and my new size (trying a 7) is already on it's way and is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow! All I have to do is print out the return sticker and swap packages with the UPS man! How awesome?! Been a customer with Zappos.com since 2007 and still absolutely loving them!

I kept them, hoping that I could break them in, but it hasn't happened. If you're looking for a cute black flat, I would recommend the Delman Mona. It's worth the extra money.

Painful!
These are one of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet. I think you'd have to order 2 sizes bigger to have any hope of them fitting.

Cute, not comfortable. Love the toe cleavage, it has a very flattering fit and I wear them often and have never had trouble with rubbing, cutting, blisters, etc. The blue cushion in the heel is totally worthless, though. My feet start to ache after a few hours of standing or walking, but they're fine for walking a few blocks or when I know I'm going to be sitting at my desk all day. Considering the price, I wouldn't buy them again.

So Painful - These are the most painful, uncomfortable shoes ever. When I first bought them they were uncomfortable, but I thought they would get better after they were broken in. That was in November and now it is July and they still hurt so bad. I don't get how a flat shoe can be so uncomfortable.

Cuts into my foot -
I ordered the wide size. I have very small bunions; nevertheless, the front of the shoe cuts into the top of my feet so that I am in pain if I wear them for more than an hour or two. They seem comfortable at first, but don't last long. Additionally, the suede scuffs up very quickly, so they don't look nice after very much time.

Uncomfortable - After slipping these on my feet, I immediately knew they were going back. Totally uncomfortable. I have wide feet, and ordered the wide, but the fit was just awful! I was really hoping to like these. Oh well, my search goes on for a cute wide ballet flat!

I've bought shoes from Fitzwell before and loved them...but these are incredibly uncomfortable, even after breaking in. They run smaller than advertised, and within a week of wearing the shoes the sole started to come off on both shoes! I had to gorilla glue them back together. Save your money.

Doesn't hold up -
The shoe looked fine when I got it, however after a 3 weeks (wearing it maybe 5 times), it stretched out, the heel sagged and it now the leather is all shredded. The leather looks good, but that's about it. They are extremely flat too; the gel really doesn’t do anything. I would not buy these. Usually flats last me a year, and these have worn so poorly I need to find a new pair now.

This was the worst investment in a pair of shoes ever...the leather is so thin, that the first day I wore them the black rubbed off on the sides and the heel to show a tan cardboard looking material...I tried to cover that up with black leather wax...but after only a couple weeks the leather which I think is glued and not stitched to the heel came away from the shoe...they are a bit smaller than they say...and they are not as cute, after realizing I wasted money on them...I could have spent a little more for a long lasting QUALITY shoe...this shoe is completely lacking in quality...BUYER BEWARE!! WORST SHOES EVER!

I love this shoe. I would not have gotten through the winter without it. I wear it every day. At first they are a little snug but once they wear in they are perfect. I am always searching for a good black flat for work, and I've found it. I am considering buying another pair; I already have black patent and the black satin (so cute for spring). A great product at a great price.
