I selected the Hurricane 3 because they seemed to be the cheapest and lightest Teva on the market. I recently took them on a 3 day backpacking trip in the Great Smoky Mountains, and they were worth their weight (which is not very much) in gold.\r\n\r\nI used them for multiple stream fordings where I had to remove my boots. The grip was excellent, even in strong current. As an added bonus, the fabric straps dried out much more quickly than the hybrid leather and fabric straps on my friend\'s more expensive Tevas! I was wearing dry sandals around the campsite in the evening, and he was forced to keep his boots on.\r\n\r\nThey function exactly as they are supposed to, but I wouldn\'t call them fashionable.

Guess these are the best sandals around. These sandals for this price and free next day air is more than a good deal! Coming to the sandals, they are very light and durable.

The sandals are a good value. They fit my 16A feet reasonably well and will serve the purpose of wearing to the beach and water park. They are reasonably comfortable for my neuropathic (sensitive) feet.

These are a nice improvement over my previous pair that fell apart after only twenty wears. It fits well, at good price, and feels comfortable.

Excellent service, excellent sandal. First the service: Ordered at 1 pm on a Thursday. They arrived 10 am Friday, no extra charge! I am a marathon runner; run barefoot a lot. Teva's Hurricane #3 look like Tarahumara Indian Sandals. People who run 150 miles at a time, and resemble Gladiator shoes. I saw an athletic shoe; I wasn't wrong. Strapped them on; ran 10 miles. Better shoe than Nike !

The sandals are true to size and took about a week and a half of walking to and from class to break in. Now that they are broken in, the sandals fit very well and are comfortable. For the price, they cost something like a half of other such teva sandals, these get a thumbs up.

I gave these sandals as a gift to someone who had had a more expensive pair of Tevas. He loves these shoes, says they fit true to size and are very comfortable. He likes these better than the previous more expensive pair!

I love them! It was such a great price for these sandals. I went all over Europe and I didn't have any problem with them at all. Usually all shoes, and sandals hurt my feet. I have such a flat feet and my skin is so delicate to straps. I brought a pair for my boyfriend, who is podiatrist, and he loves them too. He approves this sandal.

I purchased these sandals as an alternative to athletic shoes to wear to Disney World (without breaking them in!). I was truly pleased! I have wide feet and a high arch; I never experienced any discomfort, and I definitely put them to the test! I would highly recommend them and Zappos.com. I ordered my shoes by noon one day, and had them by 3:00 p.m. the next day, without requesting expedited service! Zappos.com is the greatest!

Although my daughter is an avid user of Zappos.com, this was my first experience buying from them. I have to say that they were excellent from start to finish. I bought Teva sandals for my husband and they arrived in a timely manner and were exactly as shown on the computer. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Great classic Teva sandal. Lightweight on your feet, great in water (e.g., around the lake). If you are looking for a very stiff sole, you might consider a different sandal. While this is stiffer than a flip flop alternative, they are a bit more flexible than my older Tevas so might not be as great walking over rocks.

These are fabulous for me, probably not for the best reason, however, for my needs they rate 5 STARS because they are very sturdy, very sleek, as supportive as a sandal can be. In a nutshell, totally low key looking while still doing the job. Nearly one year ago I badly broke my right ankle. I am a good-sized, older LADY with feet that are 2 different sizes. These sandals provide great flexibility with extra-long velcro straps that easily adjust to the different foot sizes. The right (broken) ankle swells and is also a full shoe size larger than the left. In my desire to NOT draw attention to my feet, these TEVAs have saved my summer! TY TY TY for all 3 pairs. I love them

I\'m a big foot. Size 16 running shoe, size 15 dress show. I ordered the Terra-Fi size 16 and returned them because they were way too big. Then I ordered the 15/16 Hurricane 3, still too big. So I finally recieved the 14 and they fit great. The Hurrican straps are simpler than the Terra-Fi, but I prefer them since they are more like the original Teva\'s. The Terra-Fi have heavier duty plastic connectors and thicker material, but again, I prefer the Hurrican. Simple, function, comfortable and timeless.

I've worn Tevas for 20? years now (at least 15). Anyway, this style is my favorite by far. I've tried other variations and these are the best as far as comfort and least restrictive. Very durable, too. I've worn them hiking, golfing, softball, pick up game of football etc. I would wear them year round, but Winters in Johnstown can get pretty nasty. I can determine how good of a summer I had by the tan line on my feet (outline of sandals).

The Teva Hurricane 3 is a great shoe for the price. Although it is one of the lower priced sandals Teva sells, it has all the comfort and features you expect from Teva. Also, as always, dealing with Zappos.com was flawless. Ordering, payment and shipment were perfect! Another great experience on-line with Zappos.com.

I love my Teva's! They are comfortable and easy to walk in. An added advantage is that they dry quickly if they get wet. I have an older pair that I have worn every spring, summer, and fall for over 4 years and they are still in good shape. I can't recommend these sandals highly enough.

Great comfort, ankle support for someone who rolls ankles, nice wide platform, and they feel good, look good. True to size, hard to beat Teva overall. The only reason I didn’t give this style 5 stars is their former Hurricane model had a bigger heel on it; this is a bit flatter, but still decent support.

These sandals are wonderful. I order a new pair for my growing son every year. They are very comfortable for people that need arch support. Tough and durable, we have never had any strap rip or break. I have had mine forever! They are great in and out of the water, and we use them for rafting. Top quality!

Very comfortable, all weather & terrain. They've been around forever, but a good design with withstand the test of time. Great for the beach/pool for their ability to be cleaned with a simple hose-off, but can be worn anywhere.

Bought these for my 13 year old son. He goes through a pair of Tevas every summer but this is the first year he's wearing adult sizes. This is his favorite pair EVER. Very comfortable, nice looking, shaped well, arch support, and he can still run around in them. And, of course, GREAT Zappos service. Very quick, terrific price, couldn't be happier. Thank you very much for making it so easy to get such great sandals.

These are great basic Tevas. They don't have an adjustable heel strap, but are comfortable in any case. They are also light in weight. Note that there are no half sizes in this model, so it may be a bit hard to get the perfect fit, but I found it's better to go larger: I'm a 10 1/2 normally and decided on the 11 after trying both the 10 and 11.

I have owned these sandals for about a year now. I bought them last June, and used them for everything from lounging around to hiking to pushing canoes through rapids. In spite of all the wear, they still look and feel great, and you would never guess how much they've been used by looking at them. Like the description says, don't expect any special perks -- the sandal is kind of bare bones, but it gets the job done. The sole is actually very comfortable, and the sandal itself is extremely light. Perhaps its greatest asset though, is water transport. You can walk through rivers with these things, and they'll be dry again in a half hour; the water squeezes out of the sandal like a sponge, so it never stays soaked. My only complaint would be that when they get wet, the sandal straps can sometimes chafe a bit against the foot... nothing too serious, and this is usually fixed by readjusting the straps. All in all, I highly recommend the Hurricanes... Teva is a quality brand, and you definitely get your money's worth with this pair.
