I bought this video recorder for my son-in-law's birthday and he had it out of the box and running in no time at all. It's easy to use and perfect to carry around in a pocket or a purse. The ability to upload and send your video to friends is a neat option too. I would highly recommend this recorder to everyone.

This little gadget is so easy to use. Pop in 2 AA batteries and you’re good to go. I keep it in my purse; it's convenient to use for anything that you might want to video in the spur of a moment. Like last night... at dinner...Michael Jordan. WOW!!

Gave it to our kids so we could get clips of the new grandchild. Love getting little short clips at the zoo, beach, etc. Good quality & easy for them to stick in a pocket and get lots of quick shots.
Zappos was also great, easy to order quick ship. Perfect for what we wanted at a good price.

I own a very expensive HD Video that I rarely use. The FLIP is great because it's simple, small, great image quality, and fast download. It's always at hand for flicks of the kids!

I bought one of these for my cousin so she could easily send videos to the family while away. I had to test it first, of course. I am one of those guys that love technology and I know how to work "better" cameras, but I have to say that it is so relaxing to only have to push one button and get completely satisfactory video. Don't worry about settings. Just record. I am about to buy one for myself in fact. I highly recommend it to friends and other family members.

Fun and Easy to Use!
I was able to use this right out of the box, you couldn't ask for anything easier. I can see the appeal for kids wanting to upload to You Tube. It was perfect for our vacation, small and light to pack.

Now I know why this little video camera has captured 13% of the market. I carry it around as it is not heavy, like my big one. The creation of videos is super easy. All it takes is to plug in the USB connector and make a couple of mouse clicks. I am able to use it as easy whether I am on my IMAC or my Windows computer. This is one sweet camera.

THIS THING IS SOOOO EASY TO USE!
It's essentially a no-brainer, excellent for those of us who are technologically challenged :-). The videos have surprising resolution and clarity, and the sound is very good as well. The less expensive version would make a perfect gift for a teenager, too. I use this all the time!

I had so much fun with my Flip Ultra that I sent one to my Dad for his birthday so we can easily share video clips over the internet between the US and UK. Totally fun, super easy gift anyone or age can use. I would call this an amazing little fun gadget. I used this flip more in 2 weeks than I ever used my full blown digital video camera in 3 years! I love it!

This is a great product for someone who isn't adept with technology as it is very simple and easy to use. Plugs right into TV or computer. Great for the price. Picture and sound quality is better than I expected.

Bad Pouch -
Love the Flip Ultra but the accompanying pouch is useless. Would prefer Zappos raise the total price by $15 and include the standard Flip Video fitted neo pouch or offer it as a separate purchase.

It seems to be a good little item -
I have not had much time to play with it, but it seems ok. I wish when playing a video back on the Flip Video I could turn up the volume to hear it. It may have a way to turn up the volume and I just haven't found it yet.
I have not had a chance to play a video back on a TV or a computer yet, but I would think it would be fine.
Over all it seems like a fine little gadget!

Great little gadget to keep in your purse. Downloading the video is very easy and it comes with a cool program to mix and edit all of your clips together. Love it and have bought one for a gift.

I LOVE my flip video camera. I can't tell you how many times in the past I missed precious moments of my children because I haven't wanted to constantly lug around a big camera. I can basically keep the flip in my pocket, take it out and turn it on in seconds. The quality picture is really great. The zoom is OK, but for a camera that size, I think it's excellent. My only confusion was downloading the software the first time I connected it to my computer, but I'm not that computer savvy, so it will probably be easier for other people. I highly recommend this camera to anyone that wants to capture great moments at a second’s notice and not have to carry around heavy equipment.
