Nice boots, but not for thin calves -
I must have some freakishly skinny calves, because I bought these thinking they were going to be exactly what I was looking for and no dice. They are a touch too big around my calves (about 1/2 inch) and they are way too big around my ankles so the leather looks bunchy. I still love Zappos though! They upgraded my shipping to next day air for free. Alas, I'm still on the hunt for a boot that will fit my legs.

Thin Calves Rejoice!
When I read two other reviews complaining about the tight calves, I knew these were the boots for me. I can NOT fit both my hands into the shaft of the boot along with my calves as I could with every other boot I've been trying on (except the $900.00 Jimmy Choos that fit like a glove). My only complaint is the lack of padding under the balls of my feet. Have to wear my padded hiking socks.

Best Boots Ever!
These boots are perfection. Both the fit and the look are outstanding. In spite of my bunions and well-developed calves, I was able to wear them comfortably right away - no breaking-in period! (For me, this is almost unheard of). The footbed seemed a bit long at first, but after a few hours they adjusted nicely to my (oddly shaped)feet. I recommend this boot for both comfort and high style. Note: the calf of this boot is pretty close-fitting, so if you have wide calves it might not work for you.

Pretty but small in the calf area -
I bought these in a mad search for a new pair of tall black boots. The buckle is cute and the toe was nice (I am so sick of the pointy toe trend!). They fit pretty good all around save for the calf. I have more athletic calves so I couldn't zip them up all the way, so I had to send them back.
