This is my son's 3rd year in a row of getting these shoes! Great for boys! They are great, look great, hold up great, wash in the machine great, everything great! We even buy Keen sandals in the summer. I like the fun colors, but my son had a pair of black Keen sandals this summer and they were so sharp, I wish they made black in the shoes. The brown is a good color too. My son wears a uniform to school so the the more traditional shoe colors look great even as school shoes! Zappos is great also, fast and seem to always have in stock what I need!

My 5 year-old LOVES these shoes! He can put them on and take them off with ease, so no hassles in the mornings! So far they are holding up great!

Great shoes!\r\n\r\nI only buy Keens for my son, as he has super wide feet and the other brands that make shoes in widths make wide shoes only in their most boring styles...\r\n\r\nMy son loves these shoes, they are very comfy and fast to put on - a big plus for a busy boy...

Great shoe! Works nicely for those days that it's a little damp out or slushy. My son loves them and says he can run "super fast" in them. Easy for him to put on and take off. Would highly recommend these!

This is my son's third pair of the same shoes. Once he outgrows his current pair, we order a new one. He adores them. The fit is comfortable and he can adjust the width with the pull of a cord. These shoes have never worn out, but I highly recommend having your child wear socks with these shoes in order to avoid the dreaded "Keen Stink." It is a most memorable smell and will not wash out! This time around, socks!

I learned about Zappos while at work. I see a lot of their packages come through so I became intrigued to find out what was this Zappos? The next day I logged on and to what was my surprise but a shoe store! I've now ordered 4 different pair of shoes from them and have been very pleased. It's great because you can find good name brand shoes, the same as you would find in a department store, right in your home. And the best part is you don't pay for shipping and handling! So it's just like going to the store to buy shoes but without having to leave your home! It's great! I love it! Another great thing is it's super easy to return if you have to. The first pair of shoes I bought for my son were too narrow for him (he has wide feet) so I returned them with no hassle. Zappos is wonderful! I would recommend this company to anyone! Oh yes, and the keen shoes are great! Like I said my son has wide feet so these are great for that. Easy to slip on and off and go with anything.

I can't say enough good things about these shoes. I just purchased my 4th pair of the exact same brand and style for my 6 year old son. He used to wear Eccos, and while they were comfortable, they just didn't hold up very long. My son's Keen Targhees will last until he outgrows them, and they are comfortable from the day he gets them until they day he outgrows them. I feel good donating his old ones, knowing that someone will get another full year out of them (or more!). The only odd thing was that this time the pair we got had two different color soles, on the bottom only. I didn't notice this until I was watching my son from behind running outside. One sole is fuchsia and the other is orange. Kind of odd, but since it's just the bottom of the sole, I wasn't too concerned about it.

My active 11 year old loves these shoes! We are on our second pair (he outgrew the old pair; they still look like new). They are durable, easy to put on and look very fashion forward.

Our family has always loved Merrells, but we couldn't find anything for my son this year. So we switched to Keen and are very pleased. These are great shoes! I just purchased a pair for my 12 year old who is going into 7th grade. I like that they are build to last - the most rugged shoes I could find. My son says they are very comfortable and is thrilled that he doesn't have to tie them.

Another great Keen shoe! I ordered these for my son for camp in New England and they did not disappoint! They run a bit wider than his sandals, but the elastic laces take care of that. Also, not too heavy and very durable.

It's really difficult to get my son to wear anything but his Crocs, but sometimes he has to. The Targhees have been the shoe to go to for those occasions. He's willing to wear these to go hiking, horseback riding, or other activities that require something more substantial than the Crocs. I wish I could say that he loves these and thinks they're super comfortable, but I think the fact that he's willing to wear them says a lot!

These shoes are great. I ordered them for both my boys, and both have commented on how comfortable they are. I am also very impressed with the staff at Zappos, who were extremely helpful with my shipping issues. I highly recommend this shoe and this company.

This is the second pair of identical Keen Targhees I bought for my son. He had them in another color before that. I can\'t say enough good things about these shoes. He has a high instep, and is very rough on shoes. The rubber toe that wraps around makes these shoes last forever. My son actually outgrew them instead of having them fall apart. Before Keens he would only wear Eccos, which were about twice the price and very comfortable, but didn\'t last very long at all. I definitely recommend these shoes for an active little boy.

Quality seems to be as good as adult keens, which are bulletproof. My kid liked them straight out of the box and has been wearing them all month at camp. Easy on easy off, these are a good rugged outdoor kid's shoe.

Rugged, durable, this is our second pair. These are the best shoes ever, and we have tested others. These stand up to all abuse. My son just loves these and he notes that he especially likes them because other kids aren\'t wearing them too.

An awesome shoe: my extremely active 7-year-old son has had four pair of these shoes over the past three years, and we\'ve found them extremely durable, comfortable, and enjoyable. They can be a bit stiff when brand new, but break in easily. Highly recommended!

Keen Kids Targhee are amazingly sturdy and rugged. My son is a demon on two feet and these shoes are just about indestructible. I’m sure he’ll eventually find a way, but hey, they are totally worth the price! Easy to put on, wide for his feet, and they look cool!

My son is 10 and has been wearing keen Targhee shoes for three years. The first pair he owned we could hardly get him to take them off! We spent three months trekking through New Zealand and when we returned home, he wore them another year. He wears them to school, to church, to fish, to hike, to tennis, to bike - EVERYWHERE! As a mom, I am pleased with how easy they are to keep clean. It doesn’t matter how sandy or muddy he gets them, they dry off and clean up fine and NEVER look like they are wearing out. Put them on with a pair of khaki pants and they are fine for church - even under an acolyte robe! Non marking soles mean they are even okay on the tennis courts. The biggest issue we have is transitioning to a new color because the newer models don’t quite look the same. He loves these shoes, and in the summer his Newports, and I highly recommend them for active young boys!

We can't beat Keens for my son!!!!! My son has a wide foot and it was impossible to find shoes for him...until Keens. What's great is that the footbed is curved at the edge; it allows a variety of foot widths to comfortably fit these shoes. Thanks for another great pair!!!!! And my son loves them too!!!

Great shoe for Mom!
I have wide feet, so the kids keen was perfect. I wanted a mud shoe for walking the dog, but I like this for urban walking, too. With all my keens, I put arch support in and then they are perfect. I've have gotten many compliments from other Moms.

This is our 3rd pair of Keen Targhee. They are really durable and my son's favorite shoes. The best part is the rubber toe. My son always drags the toe of his shoes and these are the only shoes that do not crack, peel, or wear through. I highly recommend this shoe!

My kid loves it -
This is a great all around shoe even for a girl. She loves it and her orthodics fit perfectly. They go anywhere and we live in the mountains and woods - perfect fit!
