I really enjoy Doc's, this shoe has comfort and is true to fit. I wear a size 15 and Doc's have never been wrong with me.

Love the look and style, the fit is PERFECT and they are a bit heavy weighing in at 4.1 pounds. If you want to build up your leg muscles, these are for you.

True to size and width, heavier than others but comfortable. I don\'t have hot feet in them but do need longer pants. They are not for those into style.

Greatest pair of shoes I've ever owned. My first pair lasted me 8 years! Still have tread and still in great shape. Got a little scuffed up from many years of use so it was time to refresh. I stand by Dr. Martens and Zappos all the way.

Best shoes I've ever owned, very comfortable and durable. Over three years of daily wear and they're very intact. A little too scuffed from hard use for dress wear now, so I'm buying another pair. Even thinking about getting two pairs and sticking one in the closet for another few years down the road. Only complaint is tongue slippage, but once they're on a little while it stays in place.

Look good but not perfect -
I used to wear Docs all the time. The ones made in England. I still have both old pairs, 12 years later. Still in good condition too.
I wanted an updated and more stylish pair but I guess these are made elsewhere. My main concern though was the thick sole. Before I got these I was wearing Timberland Precisefit oxfords which are awesome, in comfort and appearance, but discontinued. So these new Dr. Martens feel pretty heavy and clunky in comparison.
I usually need a size 12.5, and I hoped that with the UK/US conversion that a size 13 would work for me but I was wrong. It was just way too big. I sent those back and ordered size 12 with my fingers crossed. Those seem like a good fit, but to my surprise they're still roomy. I lace them up tight.
Walking in them takes some getting used to. They just feel a bit clunky, like boots. I don't think I'll wear them everyday.
I do like the look of this shoe. Mine are Peanut Grizzly. I'll probably order another pair of Dr. Martens, some that feel more like shoes, for when my feet are fatigued from these.

Better than expected.
I expected to need shoe inserts and for them to need a week to break in. I needed neither. They fit perfectly right out of the box. No need to get a larger or smaller. Just your normal size will be fine.

Uncomfortable -
You need to wear thick socks when wearing these shoes. I know Dr. Martens pride themselves on their Air sole's, however they should be reviewed in this shoe. I have only worn them a few times, and don’t plan on wearing them again. By no means am I trying to talk bad about Dr. Martin's or Zappos.com. I have purchased many items from both companies and have never been dissatisfied.

My Favorite Shoes -
I've had these for a little over a year now and I cannot think of a single complaint! I wear them every day to work and they still look and feel as good as they did out of the box. Great looking shoe and more comfortable than my other two pairs of Docs.

Solid shoe.
It does seem to run a little large--I should have realized that when the male/female sizes aren't actually US equivalents for each other. (Last I checked, a woman's 11 is a man's 9.) I do need to wear insoles in them for my arches. Despite those factors, the best thing to be said of this shoe is that they're practically indestructible. I wish they were still made in the UK, but I'm still pleased with them overall. Almost a year and a half of heavy wear since I bought these, and they don't look worn.

These shoes are really nice. I had some blistering when I wore them around NYC for an entire day, and sometimes the tongue slides to the side. But as long as you're not trekking across the city for hours, you'll be good.

Without a doubt, the best shoes ever made!
I have been wearing Docs for over 20 years and every time I buy a new pair, I am blown away....again.
A slightly heavy shoe, but in 2 days, they feel like you have worn them for 2 years.
Super soft leather but thick and durable.
They fit about a half size larger so keep that in mind.

Nice shoes.
I really like Doc Martens shoes and own 3 pairs. I forgot how uncomfortable these shoes really are until you break them in. I have been wearing them every day but they still are uncomfortable. What I really like about these shoes is that they are made of quality material and last a really long time. I've had my last pair for over ten years. And they still look brand new.

The only ONE!
I have bought my son another pair of Dr. Martens before, so this is the only ONE type of shoe that he would consider looking at. He loves the look, the feel, and the way that they wear, they are comfortable.

Not what I expected-
I have 2 other pairs of Docs but I hated these. I felt like I had blocks on my feet. I wore them to work but went home on dinner break and changed shoes. They were awful! Sent back and got another pair of 8287 series... aahhh much better!

These shoes are awesome!!! They are probably the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever worn. They look and feel great. Dress shoes always run a size big, so I ordered a UK 9, which is a U.S. size 10. I usually wear a U.S. 10.5 or 11, but dress shoes are always a size big. The U.S. 10's fit perfect!!! I ordered and received them in three days total!!! Zappos.com is the best!!!

I had to finally retire my old Docs after having them for almost 10 years! I expect nothing less from these, and so far they have delivered. They are comfortable AND I love the look. A must have for your casual wardrobe.

I've purchased a billion things over the internet, but never shoes. I am 100% satisfied with my new Doc Marten shoes and the customer service received from Zappos during this transaction. I have wide feet and it made me nervous ordering a medium width. These Dr. Martens seem to run slightly wider and feel great. The quality of Dr. Marten shoes is apparent from the moment you open the box. You can't go wrong with these shoes.

Good to go.
Shoes looked great & felt great. Second pair of these I have had. The others still have plenty of tread & comfort but look a little rough due to excessive (and probably a little abusive) use. They do run a little wide for me but I have a very narrow foot. I just throw an insole in & I'm good to go.
Did not require any "breaking in" time. They have a great sole, but due to the fact that they are a little heavy, wouldn't suggest using them for a long day at the mall.

Shoes look great and feel awesome after a week's breaking in. It was worth the wait for the US size 13 to come in! Always remember, double your socks when breaking in Docs!
