Nice shoe for walking on concrete floors all day. The sides are stiff and a little high around the ankle.

You will love this shoe -
I am a cook at a nursing home, I work on very slippery floors and am on my feet all day I was looking for comfort as well as a shoe that would not slide on wet floors. Well I found it and I love it!!

Good for nursing students -
If you have to have an all-white shoe, like I do, and are on your feet all day, these are very light and supportive, and they "breathe" well. I think you could go with a half-size smaller than usual, but the main thing is, I don't have to take them off the minute I can, like my last "nurse" shoes, which were killers.
