I purchased these sandals two weeks ago because I have back problems and own two other pairs of Cole Haan shoes with the Nike Air. These are so comfortable and it was nice not having to worry about breaking them in. Also, my feet are narrow so this style is just perfect because you are able to adjust the strap and the thong piece prevents your feet from sliding through.

Slippery when wet -
I work at a restaurant and after they mopped the floors, I nearly fell! Very slippery on wet floors. Also, the buckle across the top hurts somewhat.

Still can't believe I paid this much for a pair of shoes!
Of course, I was skeptical. Unfortunately, I am currently in a location with limited resources, so I don't have many options. I bought this because I liked the style. I hoped all the hype was right about the comfort. However, I think the shoe could be much more comfortable. These shoes are not uncomfortable, but I don't see wearing them to walk around in all day. I think the sole could have been made from a more shock absorbent material. I have feet that are in between wide and average, so I adjusted the buckle and they fit me fine. I was very happy to get a size 10 1/2 because that size is difficult to find. I wish the top part would have been set back more toward the legs. It is closer to the toe so it has a flip-flop sound when I walk. I didn't ever expect to pay this much for a flip-flop sound! Overall, the shoe is good. Even though it is the most expensive shoe I have purchased, it is still not one of my favorite shoes. I would have felt like I got my money's worth if I would have had to pay about half of the price!

I really like this shoe...it is very narrow, which is my main worry with shoes. The shoe rubbed the top of my foot initially, but after I broke them in, that problem eased up. The Nike Air support is great and makes the shoe very easy on the heels. The sandal looks great with trousers, jeans, and capris. Good all around summer sandal!

Addicted to Cole Haan -
Well, what is there to say? Cole Haan shoes are always amazing and this one is no different. I walked all over Las Vegas in them for two days - perfect with jeans, shorts, and skirts - you name it - these shoes complement everything. The Nike Air technology in the heel makes them super comfortable, and the thong-style means your feet won't slide through. A definite must buy for anyone needing a summer shoe.

I love the look of these Cole Haan's. They look great with shorts and also have worn them out in the evening with capris and dress slacks. True to size and very comfortable. If I did not have a hang up about having another pair in another color I would order them.

The sandals are very comfortable and provide enough support even with my mildly fallen metatarsal arches. Fits true to size and width is good-not too narrow.

Cole Haan's Air Darby Thong -
This sandal had a higher heel,(2"),then I like, but it was sooooo comfortable that I was forced to keep it! I can't tell you the last time I wore something that felt this good. Well worth the money. Because of my size,(11 AA-AAA), I have a lot of trouble finding shoes to fit. I'm used to paying for a pricier shoe, but even so, have many times been disappointed. Not with these. Cole Haan is a great comfortable shoe. I would have paid whatever I had to for a nice shoe like this. It has so much padding and comfort in the sole. This is the first shoe that feels better on than going barefoot.

Great Fit, Very Comfortable -
The Nike Air sole and choice of widths with a functional adjustable buckle are a terrific combination, making this a great fitting shoe. I was concerned that the thong might rub uncomfortably at first, but these were comfortable for walking right out of the box. I chose the thong over the other Air Darby because with narrow feet, I was concerned about my foot sliding forward. The narrow width is sufficiently snug, though. A bit pricy for a casual shoe, but if you need a good fit, these are worth the splurge. I found these true to size. I usually have to size up a half size in Cole-Haan dress shoes, but not these. Finally, kudos to Cole-Haan for offering size 10.5 Narrow. (If women's feet can come in size 8.5, 9.5, 10, or 11, why not 10.5)

Replacing my favorite shoe -
I had previously owned a Cole Haan thong that I wore for many years. It was the only shoe I wore in the house and often wore it outside as well because it was so comfortable. It finally fell apart and I wanted a similar shoe. This shoe also has the Nike heel and is a thong which is similar to the one I previously owned. I am a little disappointed because the higher sole makes the shoe a little less comfortable and the side straps are causing blisters and some pain. I am hoping that this is only because of the need to "break them in" and they will eventually be as comfortable as my previous pair, but so far they are not.

The Air Darby is a great stylish shoe. I wore it all day shopping in Dallas. I got many compliments and was asked where I got it. If anyone is considering this shoe, it's a must have for style, comfort and look. The Darby is also true to size.

I now own this in two colors...and it is the best all around sandal I have ever owned. Super comfort...If I could only take one shoe on vacation (where I walk a lot) this would be the one.

I love these so much, I actually got them in 3 different colors! These are so comfortable and the heal height is perfect...they do not feel like they are going to fall off your foot when you walk unlike other thongs.
