These were very comfortable. I would say maybe order a size up, I would have at least. I am size 11, sometimes 11.5. For my size it calls for a 'medium' which did fit, but I kind of had to struggle for a minute to actually get my foot in the slipper. Once it was finally in, it was very comfortable, and very warm. I guess it's kind of like getting situated in a sleeping bag. Kind of a pain to wiggle and move around, but once you're settled, all is good! All in all, A+ slipper.

A down blanket for the feet -
Love my North Face tent mule. These are toasty but the down is breathable and not uncomfortably hot. This are the best slippers that I've purchased in this price range.

So warm in the winter -
I just love these slippers! I have cold feet all the time so asked for some slippers for my birthday. These arrived and I'm so happy they did. No more cold feet! They also have a gripped sole which is nice if you need to go outside. I would highly recommend these to anyone. The only issue I had was that I ordered a small since I am a women's size 9 and they were too small. Luckily Zappos has a great return policy so I just exchanged them. The new ones came THE NEXT DAY!! Just great customer service.

These shoes are awesome! They're extremely comfortable; sometimes I forget what I'm wearing! I have the green ones, they're good for inside and outside, but I mostly use them inside (slippers). They don't have a lot of arch support, but besides that I love them. I am definitely ordering them again.

North face mule -
I wear an 8.5 and I ordered a small which fit perfectly. I love the shoes they are very comfortable and I wear them everywhere. The only thing I didn’t like about the shoe was that they were a little wide. Zappos was great and I got them within 2 days!!!! Amazing fast shipping!

Exactly What I Was Looking For!!
I was looking for a warm slipper that covered my heel - but was soft at the same time. I sit with my legs stretched out on the coffee table, and I need my slipper to stay on my feet - these are perfect. They have nice grips on the bottom and the support is good too. I have sore feet and these slippers are warm, cover my heels, but I can slip into them easily as well. I bought the blue and they look like little sleeping bags on my feet. My husband said they were cute on me. Buy true to size on these. Some slippers are too small and need to go up - these were perfect for my size 8 foot.

GF loves it -
My GF loves it. I bought it for her a few weeks in advance for Valentine's, and they came the next day! I could not contain my excitement to give them to her, so she got her Valentine's present early. She absolutely loves them and all of her friends are jealous. They kind of accumulate dirt (I bought the light blue color), but as far as comfort, she wears them non-stop around the house.

This is a great house shoe! My family and I have never been house shoe wearers, and even though we occasionally receive a pair of house shoes as a gift, none of us has ever worn any of them. But for some reason, when I just happened to see these North Face down mules on the website, I really liked them and thought I'd give them a try. It was very out of character for me, because I don't ever wear house shoes, and I knew my family members would balk at the idea of wearing house shoes, but I was really attracted to them and wanted to try them -- free shipping both ways made it easy for me to just try them out. I ordered a pair for myself and each member of my family. Since the day they arrived, all four of my family members have been in love with their shoes and each of us has worn them every day. Not a day goes by that one of us doesn't walk through the house and comment on how much we love our house shoes and how warm our feet are. I even ordered my daughter a second pair so that she can keep one pair at home and one pair at college.
When I originally ordered, I also ordered the same shoe in the bootie style, just so each family member could compare the mule and the bootie and choose his preference. We each immediately liked the mule because the boot was harder to get on. The mule just slips on easily.
I like that they have protective rubber on the soles to keep them from slipping on the hardwood floor and tile. They do not have a hard outdoor sole, so there have been quite a few nights when one or more of us has worn them in bed for additional warmth under the covers. They don't cause any discomfort in bed because you won't feel like you're wearing shoes at all.
And the down is cozy warm. You feel barefoot, but snuggled in down. We now can't get along without these shoes. It's cold in my house in the winter, and I don't know how I ever got along without these shoes until now.

If you've had foot surgery...
These are the most comfortable and warm slippers for healing from foot surgery. I'm really happy that I purchased these. And with Zappos' return policy I was afforded the piece of mind to try several pairs-find the right ones, and ship back others without incurring shipping charges. Aside from the puffy, boat-like style, these really are perfect.

Women's NSE Tent Mule -
I will start by saying that these are not as warm as I had hoped. They do keep your feet from freezing; but they don't give the "warm and toasty" effect. Very well made in that they are well put together and tightly sewn - but they are not as sturdy or as soft as I had expected. Saying that, they are excellent for travel, the pad on the base allows them to go many places without wearing down and they do not seem to cause the feet to get sweaty.

I didn't realize they were slippers.
They are awesome, so warm, and cozy. However, I thought they were something I could wear outside and to the hockey arena. They don't really have soles, more of a coated fabric.

The North Face -
I constantly have cold feet which I think leads me to being cold. So I ordered a pair of these in black/black. They are pretty cute, and are puffier than they appear in the picture (the top view picture is more accurate), as others referred to them as sleeping bags for your feet. But the puffiness is worth it because it feels like my feet are in warm pillows. They heat up and stay warm. I even took them off, put them back on and they were warm. The only problem is that I wear a 10.5 so I ordered the size MD (10-11.5) thinking they might be big, but with socks on my toes rub the front so I wear without socks. Plus my heel slips out a little when I walk around since the back is so little like a clog, but I think the warmth is worth it. Overall a great find and purchase.

So these were bought as a gift for a lady friend who wears a 9.5 shoe normally. So I figured a small would do and they fit perfectly and are very comfy and stylish!

I absolutely LOVE these boots. I am a walkin’ fool, and these are more comfortable than sneaks. I hike in them, I "dress up" in them, I can’t seem to take them off. Many of my friends have complimented me on them as well. I will be buying more of Earth’s shoes, as the negative heel feels much better after many hours of walking and/or standing than regular heels. If you want cute, practical boots, I recommend these with all my heart.

Warm and comfortable -
Super warm and comfy. Soles are 50/50 rigid, flexible enough for inside comfort, yet sturdy enough to walk outside in them. We have 100% wood floors and they do not slip. My mom and grandma now have them, too.

These were just what I'd been looking for...soft, warm, flexible indoor shoes/slippers that could be worn with socks. The size S says 8-9.5. I'm an 8 and it fit perfectly...so if you're a larger size order up.

A winner -
I got these as a gift for my wife and she loves them. They are warm, have good cushioning, good grip, fit snug on the heel so they don’t feel like they are falling off, and feel like you are wearing a warm goose down sleeping bag on your feet. My wife hates early Christmas presents but she forgave me when I gave these to her.

I found your site through my daughter and found a pair of what I thought would be good work shoes. I saved my tips and months later made the order. I was ambivalent about spending so much money on SHOES but decided to just do it! They arrived yesterday morning! I wore them last night for the first time forgetting to bring a back up pair in case they hurt (new shoes and all). Well, I'm just sooooo happy to say that I LOVE them!
