I bought this as a gift for a male friend and after seeing it in person I wanted one for myself. It's a great all-purpose bag with lots of room, and will even fit a 13" MacBook Pro. Has a cool urban look to it with a nice long adjustable strap that can extend so the bag rests just below the hip. Great messenger bag. My only complaint is the top zipper needs two hands to close it. The photo was a fair representation, but it does look a little muddier in color but still a cool looking bag!

I bought this bag to use as an every day purse. It’s pretty big so I can put my gym clothes and shoes in it along with my every day stuff. Unlike similar bags, the cell phone is easy to get out of the phone pocket. I am not too thrilled with the metal zipper on the flap because it gets stuck in the lining, but it looks good. The overall look of the bag is very casual so you need another purse for dress up. I have gotten some compliments on it though :)

I am very satisfied with the overall comfort and versatility of this Messenger Bag. It has all the compartments I need and easy access. The side pockets are just a hair too small for a cell phone or cigarette pack, but do well for a pack of gum or similar items.

The bag is just right for my needs. Size, material, style, function, all great. Maybe if it had an outside water bottle holder it would be perfect.

This bag is so soft and comfortable to carry. It looks lovely... the detailing is nice, it seems like the stitching is rugged and strong, and the fabric on the top flap has a beautiful weathered look.
One word of warning-- the snaps that close the top flap are magnetic, so if you are wary of magnetic sources around your credit cards, you might want to reconsider. (I personally don't care, and I haven't had problems yet.)
I didn't buy this for riding on my bike, but I found that it's actually not bad for that purpose! It's clearly not made to be an actual messenger bag (doesn't have a strap to keep it from sliding down to your side), but I was able to ride with it fine... and it fit my large bike lock. A nice surprise!

Great bag, great look. The main zipper is a bit of a headache, because the end isn't sewn into the bag so it's always a two-hand operation to open it up. Not a big deal.

This is the best bag!!
I ordered this bag with the hopes that it will be the last bag I have to buy. I was hoping to get a bag that was a combination of my 5 other bags because each one of them have something that I like about them but none of them were a complete package. That is until now. This bag is roomy enough to hold everything I need but yet it is not too big. The outside pocket is perfect for my Ipod so I do not have to dig for it when I put it in there. The side pocket is perfect for my sunglasses, phone, pens and pencils. There are additional pockets internally as well. Plus, it is washable. I love my Bedford Stu bag.

A Perfect bag 4 Girl or Guy -
I like this bag a lot. It's real tough n sturdy. I can stuff up to 2 textbooks, a thin notebook, my make-up bag, n my Mac book pro in it w/no problem. It's one of those bags that looks great w/any outfit (dress or pant). Although, maybe not a suit or a prom dress. I hope this review helps.

Absolutely Great Bag!!!
All I can say is that I have been looking for bag big enough to hold a couple of books and my usual pocket book stuff! This is a great bag!

Great bag!
Great light bag with lots of areas to keep things. I rated it 4 for looks because it's more of a mud brown than charcoal. Still, even I, who is addicted to black, love it, because it's different.

Bought this bag to use for work. It's a nice bag, but side pockets are too small & narrow to hold almost anything (sunglasses are a squeeze) and it just needs more pockets all around. It's really more suited for use as a big purse than an workbag. Quality is good, though and does have a cool look.

 |  | Thank you! I have a grandson whose birthday is November 11th and this will make him a very happy boy! Yes, he does wear size 7 in mens and is only 8 years old. I live in Texas, and with his order going to Michigan, he has to deal with much colder weather, he has a greater need for his comfort in their colder weather. I will be ordering from you for all his clothing needs, but have to confirm, I have a son-in-law who wears size 15 to 15 1/2.
