Great working shoe!! Not too clunky for a ladies steel-toe shoe. Plenty of room for thick socks...feels about a half size larger than marked.

Adorable but heavy.
These look great, so great I almost kept them, and they are really comfortable, but the reinforced toe is HEAVY. If you don't absolutely need the reinforced toe, stay away from these for hiking - unless you want that extra leg workout, that is!

Love it!
I love this shoe! I bought a 1/2 size larger knowing that I would want to put in a gel insert (as I do many of my shoes) and they fit perfectly, not too tight. They aren't heavy either, which is important after a long day. It shouldn't feel like effort to lift your legs to step...which I've experienced in heavy shoes.

This is a definitely a working shoe. If hard core tread, heavy sole, and a steel toe are unnecessary don't get these. Other than the steel toe sometimes rubbing on downhill terrain, it does a great job though. Probably the best traction hiking I've ever experienced in a women’s shoe. Again, if you’re looking for an awesome women’s work/hiking shoe these are great.

The shoe is very stylish but it needs a more cushiony insole. I had to change out the insole with a Sole for comfort. But overall the shoe is comfortable.
