First Frye's -
Always wanted a pair of Frye's boots. I picked these because I could wear them with skirts, slacks and jeans. Wore them for the first time to go shopping and I was not disappointed. I like to wear a thin ankle sock and another full sock under boots, so I picked a half size larger than I usually wear.

Not for wide feet -
Beautiful boot, but I have wide German feet. Even a half-size up, I couldn't so much as wiggle a toe. The breaking-in process would have been brutal. Since I don't like pain, I'm going to try a men's boot. I called Frye and they told me to go 2 full sizes down from my usual size. So, women's 9 = Frye men's 7.

Love them!
I originally intended to get a pair of Frye’s with the harness, but they weren't available in my size, and I needed them quickly for a trip. I'm ecstatic with these; they're a hair dressier, but still just as cool. They need a day or two of breaking in -- don't plan on wearing them for the first time on a day when you have to do a lot of walking -- but they very quickly become extremely comfortable. I've got pretty severe arch problems, and these have good support (though I could use a bit more, personally). I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, depending; I got these in an 8, and they're perfect with thick boot socks.

Love these boots.
I'm 48, chubby and short and these boots make me feel hot! They are stylish without being trendy. The hard leather sole took a little time to adjust to.

I LOVE my Fryes!
I originally ordered them 1/2 a size smaller than I usually wear because the Frye website says they run 1/2 a size large. They were too tight! So I returned them to Zappos (it was so easy!) and got my actual size. Now they're perfect!

Love these boots. These feel wider and longer than my other Frye boots (I wear a size 11), so I need to wear thick socks with these. I get lots of compliments whenever I wear these.

This boot is wonderful. It is made in the USA, and has styling and workmanship second to none!!! It is worth the price in that you are getting a product that will be wearable for years, and can be worn dressed up or dressed down and is very comfortable even brand new. I LOVE my Frye boots from Zappos.

I ordered a size too big at first but love the boots once I got the right size. I wear a 7.5 or an 8 and planned on wearing them with thicker socks so ordered the 8. I was swimming in them. Went down to the 7 and they fit much better. Breaking in the leather is hard work but well worth the effort.

I have about 7 or 8 pair of FRYE boots and these, like the others are great. The comfort is there from day one. The look great with jeans and the square toe is not bulky like some square toed boots. I am petite (5'4" 105 pounds) and they don't make me look like I'm all feet, although I wear a size 5.5 or 6. One word of caution, if you ride these are leather soles. Just make sure before you start to move your bike, that the soles are good and scratched up or have some kind of rough grip like patch on the bottoms. I just about dropped my bike after being used to wearing Harley Davidson boots.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: All FRYE boots, in particular the Dorado Slouch and Daisy Dukes. Also Durango boots are great.

Very wonderful boot. Has a good walking heel and does not burden my back or knees. Stylish and durable. I wear a 6.5 and took a 7 on these so I could wear thicker socks with them. Fits perfect.

These boots kick ass. Plain and simple. They look stellar with anything but a prom gown - and even that might look hot. They are a little narrow but you can bank on them stretching out because everyone who's anyone knows good leather conforms and stretches to fit. These bad boys will fit your foot perfectly after a short break in period. If you go a half size up you'll be better off in the beginning, but I got my regular size 7 and now, 2 weeks later, they fit like a glove - or "boot" ;) rather. They'll last forever. LOVE FRYE BOOTS! THEY ROCK -period.

Can't beat this boot -
The other square toed Fryes with rings looked to big on my small frame but these boots are somewhat daintier and "softer." I love them. They are comfortable without even a break-in period.

 |  | Your team rocks! On Labor Day (9/1) I ordered two pairs of Hunter boots because I wasn't sure which was going to fit best. First off, I get an email the next day telling me I'm receiving my boots priority. So that day, 9/2, I received my boots – after ordering on a national holiday, no less! I was wowed! I tried on both pairs. The ones that were too small I knew I wanted to return. The other ones looked like they had been worn before. I easily printed the return label/form for the smaller boots. I called customer service for the exchange and they handled it effectively and efficiently. She told me to send back both pairs of boots and a new pair would be sent priority. I assumed she meant after Zappos had received the returns. Nope! In fact, I received the correct boots today, on 9/3. How crazy is that? To order boots on a holiday, 9/1, and have the entire receive-return-receive wrapped up 48 hours later? AWESOME! Thank you for your team's great service. I've ordered before and now am even more of a fan for the service I received when something isn't exactly right. And that telephone recording with you and Serena Williams! Brilliant!
