Sunny Multi Straps sz 6 -
Gorgeous boots, very stylish. Only problem is that its shaft circumference is REALLY wide. Even if I wore my skinny jeans, they look too wide, the way it follows the width from the bottom. Craftsmanship superb, but shaft circumference a problem for me. No break in time for me--fit comfortably and I could walk in them immediately. Sorry, had to get the shaft area altered--even other boots with room in the shaft doesn't stick out that much. Maybe I'm just too petite with a small frame; perhaps this look is better suited for someone a lot taller than my height without the shaft taken in. Wish they should start the leg a little closer to the top curve of my foot so it won't stick out as much.

Good casual city boot -
I ordered the dark brown color of these boots. I was afraid they would be (a) too small as I tend to be a 10.5 - a size that is not widely available, (b) too short and ridiculous looking with jeans tucked in, and (c) too wide in the shaft, but I was pleasantly surprised. They are a true mid-calf, slightly higher than the measurements indicated (and I am 5'8"). The 10 fits fine, though there will have to be some thin socks happening. And the quality of the overall boot seems great. The leather is thick and appears very durable. I am VERY pleased. First pair of Fryes and I will definitely get more in the future. BTW, I have flat feet, so I don't have a good concept of arch support.

LOVE THIS BOOT!
I just got these boots and they are FABULOUS! I have fat calves and they fit perfectly (i.e. they don't look like sausage casings. lol). They look modern and edgy, but are classic Frye quality. They have good arch support and are comfortable. I have regular width feet, so I find them comfy, but these might pinch someone with a very wide foot. I'm in love with these boots! Worth the price.

I love these boots! I have never spent this much on a pair of shoes, but these were so beautiful I couldn't resist. The leather is very soft and comfortable. I have larger calves so these fit perfectly--can wear with skirts or tuck in skinny jeans. My only concern is the leather sole--I've never had a pair of shoes with a plain leather outsole, so can anyone else tell me how long they take to wear out?

First pair of Fryes -
Glad I splurged on these boots--I've gotten unexpected compliments from people who normally pretend indifference to dress. They're simultaneously comfortable and stylish, a rarity. Thinner socks tend to slide down and bunch around my ankles, particularly if I'm walking fast, but this could probably be managed with some sort of insert.

Love these boots -
These are smart looking boots that are also comfortable. The sole is not heavy looking. The heel is not high, but still stylish. They fit my wide calves just fine. The leather is soft and flexible. I ordered them a full size larger than my shoe size as they only came in medium width and I take a wide width so they would fit my inserts and it worked perfectly,

Exactly what I was looking for -
These boots are great, they fit comfortably with socks (and I have wide feet) and they look great with jeans or a skirt.

I love these boots.
I saw an ad for them in an upscale department store flyer. I had never "Zappo-ed" before, but the other reviews of the boot that I read on the website sold me. I have very narrow feet. By ordering down a size, they work for me. The heel and sole are beautifully done.

Gorgeous boot with an unusual fit!
I've had a hard time trying to find low heeled, fashionable boots. These are great to fit over those skinny jeans that bunch up at the ankle. I wanted a separate boot for this purpose as the boots I wear with skirts I want to fit snug around my leg. Unless you have very wide calves, these boots will not fit snuggly. If you notice in the photo the ankle area is just as wide as the calf, so this boot fits almost like galoshes. It's not the normal look. Even with jeans tucked there is plenty of room around my 13 inch circumference calf (size 9 boot). But I find I kind of like the unusual fit and unique look. They are very comfortable with jeans tucked in unlike most boots, rain boots are becoming fashionable. They are very beautiful and dressy enough to wear under wide leg dress pants. This is my second pair of Frye boots and the quality here is evident. I'm quickly becoming a huge fan! I wouldn't recommend this boot as an all around boot that can be wore with skirts as well as skinny jeans, but for me, one boot can't serve both those purposes. However these will definitely get plenty of wear. I love them. I have a size 9 regular width foot and these fit fine with a warm sock. There's not a lot of room in the toe area, but it's comfortable.

Good for walking in NYC, and really hip. If you wear orthotics like I do, I would order a half size up.

They ran true to size for me. I love the look of the boots, but I'm disappointed that I can only wear them with skinny jeans tucked in (and not with tights and skirts) because the calf circumference is too big for my tiny calves. If you have thin legs then these might look weird on. That's really my only problem with them, otherwise they're comfortable and I love the look of them so I didn't want to send them back.

Not my favorite Frye boot -
I usually love Frye boots, but this pair is my first exception. The leather is thinner, there are no boot straps. They look pretty good; they just don't feel like the usual high quality I've come to expect from Frye.

For me, these did run a real 1/2 size too large. My shoe closet is made up entirely of Frye's so I am familiar with their sizing and this is the only boot I have ever had to buy a 1/2 size smaller than usual. They are the greatest boots ever...perfect with dresses, skinny jeans, wide trousers, EVERYTHING. They are a bit 80's, a bit motorcycle, a bit western, a bit chic and just a bit avant-garde. They are the perfect boot!

For some reason these books look much cooler on than in the pictures.
Huge fan of Frye boots; these are my favorites. Much lighter than the Harness; more comfortable last and toebox than the Dorado. Can wear with everything from Eileen Fisher skirts to jeans; goes with all. Usually wear a 8.5 with a slighly boxy B foot; ordered an 8.5 and these fit perfectly right away; no break in. Highly recommended.

The calf circumference is all wrong -
Super cute boots, but I think the calf part is way too big, looking at my legs inside the boots is weird, there is about 2-3inches of space between the front of the boot and my leg. I'm only returning because of this factor, otherwise I'd keep them forever!

Frye belted boot -
This boot is great looking and comfortable enough to walk long distances in. It runs about a quarter size large, which nicely accommodates the bit of space taken up by my orthotics.

Great boot!
I've seen it stated a few times that these boots run a half size too large, but I still ordered my standard size - 6.5 - and the boot fit just right. Perfect, actually.
This is an adorable boot. The leather is soft and supple like you'd expect from Frye, and the 80's details like the toe shape and the little straps make this boot really special without making it overly trendy (and therefore out of style in 5 minutes). Perfect for pairing with close fitting above-the-knee shorts and skinny jeans. Love 'em!

Another Frye winner -
These boots are great - yet another pair of Frye boots to love (I have four pairs)! The small heel is dressy, but easy to walk in. Like other Frye boots, they run about 1/2 a size large, so you should size down.

Great weekend boots -
I like this boot bc it has a bit of a heel, but not too high, so it is a stylish weekend boot to wear with jeans or khakis. Also the strap detail is low enough that it will show peeking out from my pant leg.
