I was pretty bummed when I received these, because they were way too tight for a 13. No larger sizes were offered and I had to return them. A real shame because the look and quality appeared to be top notch.

Jesse Harness Frye boots -
These boots are great - a little more narrow than initially hoped but they fit amazing now that they're broken in a bit.

These are some nice boots -
I usually don't wear boots, but I sort of had to have these... they are great... I have wide feet, so I had to wear them around the house for a few days with thick socks to stretch them out a bit... but after that... they fit great. If you're buying them for the image on the sole, keep in mind it will wear away the first time you wear these kickers. Other than that... they're great.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I usually buy Bornes

Only issue was the metal Frye tab on the bottom fell off w/in wearing them 3-4 times. Super comfortable, lots of positive comments from others. Bottom is slick in snow/ice (like a dress shoe), even after it's been scraped up a bit.

Overall, A great purchase...
I originally ordered these boots in my normal size (9.5) and found that the boot do run a bit large. I then returned the boots and ordered a half size smaller... which fit perfectly.
I'm not sure if it is the make of the boot or the fact that I was the first to put them on, but the boots were fairly difficult to put on the first several times I wore them. I gave them time to break in, and now find it much easier to wear them. I will say that when wearing these boots, a thin sock is entirely necessary.
My boots have incurred some minor scuffing and general wear. I notice, though, that this only give the boot even more character.
One complaint that I have is that the sole (which is adhered to the floor of the boot) seems to peel further and further back every time I take them off. I would not be surprised to have to purchase a new sole or have the current sole repaired in the future.
Honestly, I love these boots and would order the same style in black if it were available in my size.
This is my first pair of Frye's... and I do not expect for it to be my last.

Some quality issues, and made in Mexico -
I was surprised when these boots arrived to discover that they were made in Mexico, since I thought Fryes were manufactured in the U.S. A potential issue: The footbed is constructed with an extra layer of cushioning that extends from the need to mid-sole. The edge at mid-sole isn't well secured, so each time you remove your foot the edge peels back a little. I fully expect to have to purchase leather insoles soon. The quality of these boots is acceptable, but certainly not exceptional. A pair of U.S.-made Wescos will cost a bit more, but they'll last a lifetime. No regrets, though. These are great looking boots I'll enjoy wearing.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Wesco. Can't miss.
