Great boots! I bought these for my 21 month old because I didn't want something too clunky that he couldn't get around easily in. I even bought a size too large in case his foot grows before winter's over, and he can run around in them just fine. They have warm insulation, and are easy to get on and off. Love these boots!

My 4-year-old loves these boots. His feet stay nice and cozy warm and dry. The zipper is a bit stiff, but nothing to terrible.
These boots are thin and easily fit under a pant leg.

Bought these for my 2 year old, as I wanted a pair of winter boots that he could also wear for warmth when there wasn't any snow on the ground. The calf area is very snug though. I had to loosen the toggles and laces in order to get the zipper to go up over his chunky toddler calves. But they have stretched a bit, and he doesn't seem to mind wearing them, so I don't think they are uncomfortable.
I'm very happy with the purchase though. They look cute for regular day to day wearing, more like shoes than winter snow boots.

Best kids' boots ever. Really -
These Keens are pretty much the perfect kids' winter boot. First, they're easy to get on, with that nifty side zipper. Once you get the bungee cord adjusted, just use the zipper. Second, they're lightweight, which is great for everyday winter boots. Third, they're (according to my son) "warm and snuggly." They're also super cute. My son is in the same size he wears in his regular Keens, which is a full size bigger than Stride Rite, just for comparison sake (11 in Keen, 10 XW in Stride Rite).

Stylish and warm winter boot -
My 5 year old son is particular about his boots and loves his Keens. Warm, 'cool', good traction. Only challenge is the zipper can be difficult to raise and lower but he's become accustomed to it. Highly recommend.

AWESOME!!
These boots are so awesome!! My 5yr. old LOVES them. Easy to get on, comfy, warm and very stylish. He wants to wear them to bed!! I have always liked Keen shoes so I was excited to get these. They passed my expectations. They do run a size small so if your kids wear say an 11 I would get a 12. That's what I did for my son and it worked out perfect. Can't wait to go to the Smoky Mts now!! Thanks Zappos for offering a great shoe and great shipping (ordered it Monday evening and had them on Tuesday afternoon - WOW)!
