Okay, these things take a little getting used to if you are used to wearing other brands of sandals, very heavy at first. Worth it though, if your feet (like mine) are getting older and losing their padding. These have great under foot protection and I find I can walk in them all day and still not have that 'gotta get my feet up' feeling. They are not slip on/slip off, so you're going to be buckling and un-buckling, but you won't need to much, they really are all day comfortable. Also they are a little big, I normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9, but am wearing an 8.

Comfy but HEAVY -
I ordered these because I was looking for a sandal that would wear as well as a pair of Crocs, but look a little better doing it. These have a nice squishy foot bed, which I liked. The sandal portion itself it fine. But these things are HEAVY!!! Seriously, I felt like there was a steel shank in the sole or something. They're not exactly graceful sandals either. In the end I decided to send them back just because I didn't want to lug all that eight around on my feet.

Wonderful thick, soft sole. A bit heavy feeling and looking but a shoe you walk for hours in. Quality.

When Comfort Counts -
Wow, comfy sandal! Smooshy sole, flexible strap. In the past I have had to "break in" Doc Martens, but these were great from day 1. As expected, they are a bit heavy so they are more of a shorts/capris sandal than for dresses. I love them for errands, going for walks, or to the park.

These sandals are a wee bit clunky looking, but are verrry comfortable... even for all day walking at fairs. Definitely just for jeans or shorts though.

Dr. Marten sandals -
Great fit and look. Unfortunately, as I watch the snow fall in April in Wisconsin, I haven't had the opportunity to wear them yet. Ordered them early in the season as I know how quickly they sell out. Have owned quite a few other Dr. Marten sandals in the past and love how they look with jeans, shorts, and dresses. Especially love the comfort. The only downside is, when you find a style you especially like, because they wear so well, if something should happen to them (like my puppy using one of my old ones as a chew toy), you can't get a replacement!

 |  | Can I just say, I have always hated shopping for shoes until I stumbled upon Zappos. Zappos has changed the way I shoe shop. Since discovering Zappos, it is the only place I shoe shop. No more dragging from store to store to find the right shoes and the right size. I love Zappos! I have ordered dress shoes, boots and casual shoes from Zappos. On occasions I have had to return shoes because they just were not what I wanted; either they did not feel right or they were not the look I wanted. The return policy is so easy and Zappos does not make you feel guilty for returns! P.S. My husband even shops from Zappos now. He cannot believe how great the customer service is. We love you Zappos!
