Great for flip flop for all day walking. The leather conforms to your feet and the the sole has great support and cushion. It kind of killed me to pay this much for the shoe, but overall I really like them. They do have a long break in period, so I'd advise starting out with short walks and bring a few bandaids.

First of all, I must say that I am not a flip flop person. I have never liked them and thought that people who wore them were ruining their feet. That was until I got a pair for mother\'s day last year! If you know this brand, then you know that there is good support and cushioning. If you don\'t, then introduce yourself to it! I can\'t believe I spent so much on a pair of flip flops, and if they were your typical kind, I wouldn\'t have. The shoes mold to your feet, there is support, cushioning, comfort, and my feet complain if I don\'t have them on. I put them on first thing in the morning and only change them when necessary. The strap on top of the foot is in a different place on the foot, so there is more stability. Love these shoes and you will too! Zappos rocks!\r\n\r\n

These flip flops ROCK! I have worn them every day since they arrived. I have a severe allergy to latex. Many shoes are made with a latex based glue. These aren't. Thank you Zappos customer service, they were the ones who researched my options.

I purchased these sandals for our Hawaii trip in September. I needed a universal sandal that would be easy to walk miles in, and yet look good. These Olukai Lani sandals were the perfect choice. They run one size larger than your normal shoe size, and I was glad to have that input on the other reviews. There was no break in time needed, just out of the box and ready to be walked in. The mica color is beautiful and goes with just about anything. My sister in law had never seen or heard of them before, and they lived in Hawaii for 10 years. She thought the price was high, but will probably be wearing them when I see her the next time. Thank you Zappos for the awesome service.

Very comfortable and love the heel heighth. Good arch support for daily flip flop wearers. Not the exact thong style, the straps are farther back on the feet, so gives it a little different look.

Just received the OluKai Lanis. Not worth the price! The thong part is stiff & cuts between your toes. Was hoping for a more flat heel bed; that curve in the heel bed really killed my bad knees. Put them on took them off sent them back. In this economy people should be ashamed of themselves for charging so much for simple leather flip flops!

I love these shoes - they are so comfortable. I usually wear a size 6 1/2, but going down to a 6 was the right size for me. I also have plantar fasciitis (sp?) and these shoes are one of the few types that I can wear. I can’t wear any other type of flip flip except fit flops.

More praise for these flip flops! Great cushion and arch support. I can usually can't wear flip flops all day because my knees start to ache, but I have nothing but comfort with these flip flops. I usually wear a 9 1/2, but a size 9 in these fit perfectly.

I am really glad I bought these shoes! At first I wasn't so sure... they were cute enough, but I wondered if it was really worth the price tag to buy a pair of flip flops! Still, I couldn't find anything else like them: I wanted a goldish pair of flip flops that had some support and a lot of comfort. I bought them in my normal size 7 first and found that they were huge! So I got a pair of 6's and they fit much better. It was surprising to me because I never, ever wear size 6! But these clearly run big and the straps are too loose if you have a bigger size. Anyway, through time I’ve come to really appreciate these shoes and I wear them quite often. They look really good with a denim skirt or capris as well as shorts. They are just what I wanted: a pair of fairly casual flip flop shoes that weren't as casual as something like a reef... but not dressy, either. I would recommend these shoes and may get another pair in a different color.

Extremely comfortable flip-flops! I have been wearing these constantly since they arrived in the mail. They are well made and sturdy while requiring almost zero break-in time. I like the arch support and very slight wedge, as opposed to most flat thong sandals currently on the market. Since I will be wearing these nearly every day, sometimes all day, I feel the price is reasonable.

Hail OluKai once again! I ordered these and at first thought they would be uncomfortable because the piece between the toes is leather and flat as opposed to tubular. By the second time I wore them, they were "broken in". Very comfortable. What I love about OluKai is that they are made for real human feet. They aren’t narrow like other flip flops where your baby toe hangs over the edge. The color "mica" is awesome! A soft gold metallic... very fashionable and not at all gawdy like some metallics.

This would have been my third pair of OluKai’s; I just love my other two. Unfortunately I had to send them back. The toe strap was too wide and stiff and rubbed between my toes so bad I couldn't wear them. I won't give up on the brand though, I'll just have to look at the details more carefully on the next pair.

I'm pregnant right now and bought these shoes to wear all day. There was no break-in period. No blisters, no hot spots, just a great fit from the beginning. I purchased a size 11 and they fit spot on! The leather on the footpad and upper strap has worn in nicely and this flip flop is smooth and comfortable to wear. I don't even think about my feet during the day, that's how great they feel. Regarding the high price; I was a bit hesitant at first, but I can feel that they are so durable, I probably won't have any problems with them breaking. Really glad I made the buy.

This flip flop is very well made and super cute. The leather footbed is very soft and it’s like walking on a cloud. However, the leather strip between the toes is wider than any I've tried and rubs, I really want to keep these flips, but I know they will blister so I'll be returning them. I'm planning to purchase another Olukai in a different style. How unfortunate as this is the only pair in a platform style. I'm bummed. They did feel true to size and the metallic mica color is great, adds a little dressy feel to a casual style.

Good, comfortable sandals -
I bought the bronze/gold color from Zappos and have been enjoying them. Like the lift from the heel, but still get the stability from a flat. They will be great for when it gets hot this summer in my Sunshine State...the suede liner is a must for my hyperhidrosis condition (sweaty feet). They are pretty comfortable.

Worth the money!
I literally cringed a little when I hit the purchase button for these - how could I spend $100 on flip-flops!? But I was really looking for something that was casual but still polished, had a slight platform, and would be comfortable and durable to go sightseeing and beach-hopping for more than one summer. I'm so glad I got these! They were a little tight at first, but I have a wider foot so I expected this. They provide the perfect amount of support for my high arch and look great with shorts, jeans, or dress pants for the office. I only say that they are 1/2 size larger than marked because I wear a standard 6.5 and the size 6 fit me perfectly.

Best flip flop ever -
OluKai makes a great product. True to size. Excellent material and composition. I recommend this shoe to anyone who wants a flip flop that is made of high quality and will last for more than one summer. I will never buy another plastic flip flop again. These are the best!

I love these flip flops. I was able to wear them all day right out of the box. I have problems with my feet (I have orthopedics) but can't give up wearing flip flops. These fit and feel great and my feet don't hurt at days' end. I own one other pair of OluKai flip flops that I love too, and I'm sure I'll be ordering more.

Good, other than the blisters!
I already owned the OluKai Kekai shoes, decided to try the Lani W for a flipflop with height. The first time wearing them (all day) everything was great. The second time though - ouch! I got major blisters from the thongs on the side and under the big toes on both feet. Maybe the leather stretched the first time so it rubbed more the second time? Since then, I've gotten new blisters in the same spots about the next 10 times I wore them. Finally, now I'm okay wearing them (calluses?). Now they're great; I'm not sure why I had so many problems before.
