Never mind the boots, they are fine as a product from Oakley is. What surprised me was the customer service. If you need to contact those guys, you'll feel like calling your mother. Just one of the best online shopping experiences I had!

I love these boots! Not only are they comfortable and light, but they seem rugged and well-built. I've only had them a month but I've worn them daily, and have put them through their paces. They perform well standing all day on concrete in the workshop; and also walking on long rugged hikes. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they don't wear out too fast. Oakley footwear have that reputation.

I bought these boots for a 3 week summer camping trip in Norway. I found these perfect for the job. I applied an extra coat of water resistance and had no problems keeping my feet dry. Mountain hiking was a breeze with the tread on these. They broke in immediately and I am still wearing them 2 months later. I have worn these for 6 months total with the camping trip and they are still holding strong.

My nephew first turned me on to the name brand OAKLEY, back in my day they only made sun glasses. I have now bought my 4th pair! Light weight, great style, and the price is right. I even bought a new pair of Oakley sunglasses so I can look good from head to toe!!!

These boots are comfortable and durable. I began wearing them to work on 1/1/09, and after 3 months of VERY hard use I am pleased with them. They hold up to cuts and scrapes very well, they are very lightweight, and a break-in period is virtually unnecessary. The soles have held up well, as I walk on solid concrete and abrasive asphalt surfaces all day long. The laces are very thin, and I replaced them within a month after they began to fray. My boot size with this style (US 10) also seems significantly larger than other brands of the same size. The toe seems longer and wider, which causes me to tie them tighter, bunching up the area where the tongue meets the toe. I also needed to buy a larger size insole than I have always used before. If I were to replace them, I would probably buy a half size smaller. All in all, I am happy with these boots, and even with my size concerns, they are still very comfortable.

I LOVE these shoes. They are incredibly unique, well made and the most original wedding shoe you could possibly imagine. If you are daring and bold, this is the shoe for you. If you don't want to take any chances, steer clear, this is only designed for a creative, alternative and wild soul. Unfortunately, they didn't pair up well with my dress but my god, if I had these shoes first, I would have designed my dress for them.

Perfect Boot! My New Favorite Shoe!
It's extremely difficult to find shoes in my size (12.5), and I had high hopes for these. They exceeded my expectations in every possible way! They fit beautifully and provide amazing support and cushioning throughout the boot. I highly recommend!

Comfort, Style & Durability!
I was about to give up on a durable but comfortable yet stylish casual boot when I was searching Zappos and found this awesome Oakley Tactical Six! What a great boot! It has a classic, quasi-military style but the comfort of a pair of Air Jordans! The suede leather is soft and form-fitting yet durable and almost waterproof. This Oakley boot fit comfortably right out of the box. I am very impressed with the durability especially the lugged sole. What a great job Oakley has done to make a good-looking, hard-working boot! A special note: this boot is cut very true to size even a bit full in the toe box area which actually works great to accommodate thick socks. As usually, Zappos gives us the best of both worlds: great products and awesome customer service!

Extremely comfortable footbed! Best I have worn; they feel just like a sneaker. The boots look great. The leather is very soft, which worried me in terms of durability, but so far after a month of normal use, they have no lasting scuffs or cuts. With going up and down ladderwells all day, this is a bit surprising. They are polishable with a bit of time and patience. My only real complaint is that the ankle support feels a bit bulky and stuffy leading them to often feel warm. Fortunately the front and sides are well vented.
I've had more expensive boots and cheap boots, but so far these are the best! Well worth it.

Fine Boot -
I really like this boot because it is a hybrid of a tall work boot and a light weight multi-purpose athletic shoe. It is not hot (more than other athletics), even in our miserable local summer and it is shock absorbing on urban terrain. Love the color and roughout combination. I would follow others' advice on sizing. I usually buy 1/2 size larger due to size variances, but this time I bought my normal size and it fits well. Width felt normal. Zappos’ service is perhaps the best customer service system I have experienced in this day of "Whatever… take it or leave it!" merchandising. That's why I continue to trade with them and spend my $$ there. Thanks Z.

Looks better than the picture.
I took a chance on these and am very happy I did. I normally wear the Oakley Assault SI but after putting these on I now share my time between the two. They are comfortable to the extreme. They are as light as a running shoe and give great support during long wear. These are well worth the money I spent. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Great shoes -
First, the shipping was lightning fast. Zappos is one of the best internet vendors I have ever dealt with. The shoes are comfortable right out of the box. They look great with 511s. I listened to other reviewers about the size. I usually wear 10.5 in running shoes and 10 in boots. I ordered 9.5 and the boots fit perfectly.

Tactical six -
I bought this boot because of its looks and hoped it had a good none slip sole for work. In person they looked as good as in the picture and the sole is very slip resistant. They do run very large in the toe region mostly...But when you order from Zappos with the free shipping and returns, made it possible to find the right size with no hassle. Over all, a bit pricy but worth it for the comfort.

Fit like a sneaker, not good for a work boot -
First, let me say, the service by Zappos is INCREDIBLE! This boot is more like a high-top sneaker. The toe is very soft and offers no protection. The laces were cheap and too short for this boot. You might want to order a half size smaller because I found this boot creased behind the toes as I walked and I could tell this repeated creasing would easily wear out the leather. Nice looking boot, but not for construction or industry. Good traction. Not warm for cold weather.

Tactical 6: great boot with a light finish -
The boot is lightweight and supple allowing full range of high speed low drag motion. While supporting the ankle fully and giving good padding and grip from the tread, the Tac 6 manages to keep weight down. It's like wearing tennis shoes with ankle support.
However, the finish on the leather is very 'shallow'. Minor bumps and scrapes take out the nice clean look in nothing flat. A field boot, this is not, but for garrison or foot patrol work, it’s a nice one.

These are some great boots. Tie 'em up tight and it's like you have a pair of trail running shoes on. Plus they look cool; I made pretend I was G.I. Joe while I was shoveling. Outstanding!

like a sneaker -
Boot fits well and is very comfortable. Great ankle support and good looks. I have had a lot of boots and spend a lot of time on my feet on concrete, these boots also get great traction in the snow and mud!

Not too bad. They have a lot of ankle support. Once on your ankle is not going to move much. The shoe is kind of wide near the toes (might just be my foot). Fit and finish is good. I have not put the waterproofing to the test yet. Only problem is they seem to fit tightly enough on my leg to rip the hair out. No big problem. Over all a great boot.

Second pair of Oakleys for my husband!
My husband is a warehouse supervisor and on his feet all day! It has always been hard for him to find boots that are comfortable, he always went for the $60-$80 boots and they just sat in the closet because they were not comfy enough. Then I convinced him to try Oakley even if they are pricey they are TOTALLY worth it! His last pair lasted 18 months! And they are still in gardening condition! Lol! We will never buy another brand for work! You only have one pair of feet so take care of them! These shoes rock!

Great boots!
No break in required... I ordered a half size larger because they didn't come in a wide size, which was perfect since they seem to run a bit wider than normal anyway. They look and feel great.
Zappos shipped them within an hour and I had them the next morning... incredible! :)
