It\\\'s hard to find my size in boots, let alone nice looking boots. These look great and feel great. They arrived quickly too.

I would describe these as good "utilitarian" type boots. They are comfy (love that they come in a W, so room for socks if you want) and I think would be good for those of you walking to work, taking the train, etc. and it is nice that they are waterproof. However, they just really don't have much style at all. I tried them on with a dress, but the heel looked too bulky. Also because they are waterproof, it gives the leather a sort of plastic-y type look. I live in a mild climate so don't really need the waterproof and prefer something more feminine to wear with skirts and dresses, so ultimately sent them back.

I absolutely love these boots. They fit perfectly, are beautiful, and comfortable. I can walk around in them all day and my feet don't hurt. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. I have skinny legs and after years of hunting for boots that fit my calves, these are great. These are my second pair of Sudinis (first pair were ankle length and soft as butter) and now that I've found these again, I'll always stick with the brand. Worth every penny I spent.

Not true to calf width -
My calf measures 14 inches, and the calf on this boot is supposed to measure 14.75 inches. I have fit into a 15 inch calf on other boots with plenty of room to spare. I couldn't even zip these up, so I'm sending them back. It's a shame because everything else about the boot seems so nice.

Very narrow calf -
The boot itself is beautiful, however, while the shoe part of the boot fit perfectly and was very comfortable, I was unable to zip it up all the way. The calf portion is very narrow. I do not have big calves, just average.
Sorry, had to send them back.

Nice boot -
Very nice boot. Classy looking and comfortable. I'm a size 7, but had to reorder a 7 1/2 for a good fit. They seem to run a bit small in size and in width. As usual, Zappos was wonderful about it. The only thing I don't like is how close fitting the calf is - there's no way you can wear these boots over jeans.

Very clean and simple looks wise. At 5ft tall they came up just below my knees. I would recommend these for people with thinner calves though. The leather is nice and the soles are flexible. The only complaint I have is that they are a bit narrow in the toe area which reminds me of cowboy boots and makes them feel about half a size small. I exchanged these for the Sudini Andover, which are very similar but with a rounder toe.

The sexy, comfy boot -
I really like these boots. I looked high and low in the stores for boots like these. They either had too high a heel, or were too pointy in the toe. These were just right. I have very sensitive feet, and these didn't kill as soon as I put them on. Although I can't walk for blocks in them, I will only wear them when I won't be doing a lot of walking. Over all, I would definitely buy them again, and I wouldn't say that unless I meant it.

Amazing boots -
I love love love these boots. I have a hard time finding nice fitting boots because I am very petite. I have small calves and these boots fits perfectly. I actually danced in them all night, the boots were very comfortable.

Comfortable boot!
I wear a wide shoe and finding stylish boots that fit my foot and comes in wide is rare! This boot is perfect and fits exactly to size. Also, the lining provides insulation. Great boot! I originally ordered a size larger. I called Zappos and asked to send a smaller size which they did and didn't charge my credit card. So, I was able to compare the two sizes for a good fit. Zappos, you are great!

Great for narrow calves -
I have such a hard time finding boots for skinny legs, and these ones are great. No big gap, but just enough room to squeeze my skinny jeans in there. They're really nice looking, but not particularly "special". Great if you're looking for something versatile, as opposed to a "statement" boot.

For thin calves -
I never thought of myself as having thin legs or small calves until trying on 5 pairs of knee-high boots recently (Rockport and Circa Joan and David were way too big). These were the only ones that didn't gap at the top. I really wanted to buy the Sudini Torrey, which is a very dark brown and more stylish, but they gapped just a little at the top. I'm not crazy about these boots being waterproof, even though I know this probably will come in handy in the Montana winters, because the foam interior just isn't appealing. But overall these are a good looking boot with a very easy to wear heel. The boots feel a tiny bit smaller than true to size, if that makes sense.

Fabulous boots!
These boots are really great: the leather is high quality, the design is perfect, and they are incredibly comfortable. I am used to sacrificing comfort for look, but these feel as good as they look. I can't believe they are waterproof, too. The fit is just at the limit of my size. I kind of have a narrow foot, so if you have even a slightly wide foot, don't get the standard width. I am always an 8.5 and feel like I probably could have gotten away with a 9 in these, but since the leather is sooooo supple, I am guessing they will stretch a bit. They are the perfect boot for either dresses/skirts or jeans. And you can definitely tuck skinny jeans into these and still have clean lines.

Disappointing -
I bought this shoe in both size 8.5Wide and 9Regular since I'm usually between 8.5 to 9 depending on the brand and I do have wide feet(and 9Wide was not available at the time of my order).
The style--these boots look very clean, simple, and no fuss, it's a pair of black boots, period. So if you're looking for something that would get people noticed and draw compliments, these shoes are not for you.
The height--the heel is perfect, not so tall that you feel like you'd fall over any second, not so low that it wouldn't give you the illusion of longer legs. The height also makes the shoes comfortable to walk in.
The leather--it definitely is not soft and smooshy. PVC or other synthetic leather's softer than this. I recognize the leather is somewhat quality leather only because I've worked in the industry, but it just doesn't have that touch of your skin feel to it. I wonder if it has something to do with the waterproofing of the material. In short, the feel of the leather well, feels cheap than it really is.
The calf--it's perfect for smaller calf people--I have smaller calf than most, and these were snug on me without tucking in my skinny jeans. If you have muscular or large calf, stay away from these shoes.
The size--8.5Wide was not wide enough, and it was very tight. The 9Regular was very tight as well, and if I was go to with 9, I would definitely need at Double Wide--if it's ever made in that size.
I'm definitely returning these unfortunately. Though Zappos comes highly recommended, I've order many times before from them, and their service is just excellent!

Not For...Medium Calves??
I bought these boots in a size 6, which is my standard size (sometimes I fit into a 5.5, though). The foot area felt a little snug with thin socks on, so I'd consider going a size up, but that wasn't the biggest problem. For some reason, these boots absolutely did not zip up on me. I freaked out for a few minutes because I am a very small person (5'0", 105 pounds) and I've never even entertained the thought that my calves might be "big." Well, I measured the widest part of my calf, and it is 14" around at most. Even when I measured with the boot on--not fully zipped because it was physically incapable of it--it was 14.25" at MOST. So I don't know what happened...but I could only zip it about halfway up. Maybe it's a fluke, or maybe everyone who finds these a good fit has exceptionally skinny calves and the boots are marked wrong in description. (I just measured the left side, which I hadn't unstuffed or worn yet, and it had a 13" circumference at the fattest part...)
It's too bad because the boots are beautiful, a great quality, just the right amount of tapered toe and heel and the shaft wasn't too long on me as I feared it might be.

Great Boots -
These boots are great. The very first day I had them, I wore them for 13 hours straight. They were comfortable the entire day and did not once hurt my feet. I am thinking about buying another pair in black because they are not only a good looking boot, but comfortable too.

Finally, after years of trying, I've found a boot with a narrow enough calf for my size 9.s feet. And they are VERY high quality in style and material. I'm buying some Sudini short boots as well. I love Zappos!

Great classic boot -
I love these boots. Not only do they look good, but they are very comfortable. They aren't super roomy in the calf, though, so if that is an issue for you these would not be a good choice.

I've tried on at least 20 boots in the hopes of finding something that is comfy, cute, and isn't too big on my calves and this boot is all three. Its also waterproof, which is handy for the Boston winter!

Feel and look sexy with no aching feet!
I have been wearing mid-calf flat and low-heeled boots with pants for many years, but went on the hunt for comfortable tall boots with more of a heel so I don't have to put away my skirts for the winter. I looked at hundreds of boots and decided on the Sudini Summit.
They are very stylish and truly comfortable. I feel sexy! I wear them all day at the office, walk 2 miles at lunch, 1 mile in the evening and don't have aching feet. I thought the gore lining would make my legs clammy for all day wear but the boots are truly amazing! I was not in a hurry but Zappos delivered next day!

This one's a keeper!
I've been waiting for a boot like this for a long time, and this boot has it all: the narrow width fits my foot perfectly, and the shaft of the boot fits without leaving a gap at the top of the leg. The heel height is comfortable, and the heel itself is graceful, as is the tapered toe. All that, plus water-resistant/waterproof without looking clunky like many waterproof boots. What more can one ask for? I'll have this one for years to come.

Great boot but not for big calves -
This is a beautiful, well made boot. Too bad I couldn't zip it up completely. I have big calves (approximately 15.5 inches) and had seen this boot advertised on another site as fitting "wide calves." Unfortunately it didn't work for me. It fit every where else and made my huge legs look slimmer. Oh well...thank goodness for Zappos' excellent return process.
