Not for bunions -
I keep an eye out for comfortable dressy shoes where my heel is not much higher than my toes and therefore my weight is not forward in the shoe. I love these shoes and they are good for wide feet and High arches. However, the trapunto treatment of the leather in the band across the toes makes this band very stiff with no softness or give. Unfortunately, I have n sensitive joint where my big toe joins the foot and the stiffness made these shoes hurt. At the Robert Clergerie store in NYC I found a very similar style except there is a soft band across the toes A. They are perfect and don't hurt a bit.

 |  | Dear Zappos: I just received my new shoes the next day after I placed the order. I have been trying to find a particular pair of shoes and have tried many different manufacturers and styles. Finally, I found a pair that is just what I was looking for! Somewhat by accident and somewhat by chance... since Zappos gives a shopper the ability to view the shoe from many different angles, it helped me narrow my search. I have been a loyal customer and will continue to do so. Thank you Zappos, you always do exactly what you say you will do. I am very satisfied and for anyone reading this, if you are like me, accepting a shoe that is close to what you are looking for because you can't find exactly what you want is a little disconcerting, especially when it comes to your feet. I think I might by another pair for storage, so when they wear out I don't have to go through the process of finding the right shoe again.
