I saw all the 5 star ratings and figured this one was a shoe-in. I do like the shoe, however: I ordered the black and the leather is a bit stiff and has not softened over time. Also, the black dye comes off on my socks or hose and feet...not what I would expect in a quality shoe. Otherwise, perfect with pants or jeans for casual business wear.

I just bought these for work. After reading the reviews that said these shoes are a little large, I ordered both my normal size and a half size smaller. I don't agree that they are a little long. The half size smaller pinched my toes, and I sent it back. As for the look, they look great with what I wear to work. I've never been disappointed by the comfort of any Born shoes I've owned including these.

Comfortable, stylish shoe to wear with slacks -
I had already purchased this same style in brown - again, Born did not disappoint though the leather on the black pair seems just a bit stiffer than the brown ones. I'm sure they will get softer with wear. These shoes have the extra added benefit of making your foot look smaller - don't know how, but it just does. I've got bunions on both feet and there is plenty of room in these without having to go up a half-size from my normal size.

The BEST fitting shoe right from the start -
I was totally thrilled with how these shoes felt, right from the moment that I put them on. Yet, as the day went on, I noticed that they almost seemed to have gotten bigger as the day went on. I have VERY bad feet (bunions and wide width) and I was very surprised at how well this particular style of shoe fit, as well as the comfort factor. I am on my feet ALL day and I have to say, they are like slippers on my feet. I HIGHLY recommend this shoe to anyone and everyone!

VERY comfortable!
I love these shoes. They are not sexy or pretty, but they are perfect for pants/slacks and they feel amazing. No heel slippage, no toe pinching and good height. I bought them to wear to work and have no regrets.

Great work shoes -
I bought these to go with slacks for work and they did not disappoint. I've got bunions, but also have fairly narrow heels, so I'm not easy to fit. Taking these out of the box, I was afraid they were going to be tight, but they are extremely comfortable and my heels don't slip out of them at all. I don't think I'd wear these with a skirt or dress (heel just a bit clunky for that, in my opinion), but these make an extremely classy work shoe with slacks and are so very comfortable, right out of the box. I'll be looking to buy other shoes in this brand in the future.

In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with Born shoes; they are truly shoes you can wear right out of the box! I feel Born uses the BEST leather money can buy. These shoes are classic in styling with a perfect heel height for all-day wear. I would recommend these shoes to anyone (but maybe order down a half size).

I am very loyal to Born shoes. Comfort is huge for me, along with style. I work as a professional in a hospital. These are the first pair of Born shoes that I've purchased online (since they didn't carry this style at my local dept. store). Unfortunately, they are just a bit too big in the length, as my foot keeps coming out as I walk, so I'm going to need to try and fix that on my own, since I've worn them already.

Very cute and accurate sizing -
Other Born products run a little wide (in my experience), so they worked very well for me. This runs more true to width so it was a little tight for me. I am stretching it out with hopes that it will work for me because it is adorable.

Love This Shoe!
I can't say enough good things about this shoe. The heel is great. It is hard to find a shoe with this substantial of a heel that is still so comfortable. It is like your foot melts into the shoe. They do stretch a little. I normally wear between a 7 and a 7.5 and I am just fine in the 7.

I did something the other day that confirmed in my own mind how much I like Zappos. I wanted to buy a Tommy Bahama shirt for my husband. I had found a beautiful one online on another site, but just before I purchased, it occurred to me Zappos might have similar items. Indeed, Zappos does carry Tommy Bahama brand. I found a few shirts I liked, but not the one I really wanted. But I LOVE Zappos so much, I preferred to buy from you even if it wasn't exactly the same item. In fact, I got three shirts, knowing we could choose our favorites and send the rest back. Naturally, my husband loved all three so we are keeping them. It is a wonderful feeling to have confidence in a perfect service experience each and every time. You guys set the standard for all online purchases as far as I'm concerned. I tell people all of the time that Zappos is the best place to buy shoes--period. I will have to add that the other items are top notch and best of all come with the Zappos service.
