Great racing shoes, light but durable--a bit small for size -
These are very comfortable, lightweight flats ideal for races (for me, 10miles would be max distance I'd use these for, but for all distances up to that they're superb).

Good for race walking -
Since New Balance has discontinued its previously designated race walking shoe (MRW110G), I thought when needing a replacement shoe that I would try the RC1001. I have been very pleased. It's lightweight and, in general, very suited for race walking. I would definitely recommend the RC1001 to race walkers. (Warning - I, at first, tried my normal size, but found that I needed a half size larger.)

Super light -
Super light, very nice looking and my most favorite shoes of all.
May want to order a bit bigger than usual size though.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: New Balance 1024.

Excellent racing flat -
Nice, fairly minimal racing flat. I would probably use it up to 1/2 marathon. Narrow, which is great for me, flexible, lightweight - just what I expect for a flat.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Nike air skylon, new balance MT800 (trail)

However, with two kids and an extremely hectic work schedule I was not able to do that and needed to buy shoes for my kid’s tennis lessons. I was very hesitant to order shoes online only because I needed them almost immediately. However, I did order them from Zappos and imagine my surprise when it was delivered the next day at no extra charge – free shipping. I have one very happy kid and an extremely happy mother. I cannot wait to put in my next order because you guys have an amazing selection of shoes.
