Great for walking.
I bought these shoes so I would have a comfortable shoe while walking the dogs every day. These shoes are great. They are comfortable and great for every day walking. They don't make my feet tired like other shoes I have tried. They fit great. They don't have quite the arch support I would prefer but they suit for every day use of taking out the dogs.

NO ARCH SUPPORT -
This is a very attractive walking sneaker, but has ZERO arch support. You don't even have to try it on, you can see the footbed is completely flat. I did try it on anyway just to see how the rest of it measured up, but other than the problem with no arch, it's actually nice. The mesh makes the toe area stretch out to conform to your toes and it has nice padding. Too bad about the arch problem because these would've been keepers. That being said, Zappos is great! I ordered these on Wednesday and they were at my house the next day. I will continue to search on Zappos for the right walking sneaker.

Very Pleased -
The Nike Air Persistence is a very comfortable shoe. It is lightweight, yet has just the support I needed. The color looks dressy enough to wear on Friday "Dress Down Days."

This shoe was at the least a half size to small. I got another Nike shoe and this one was 1 inch shorter. They were both marked the same size. It felt narrow because of the length.

I had to try this shoe in 3 different sizes and finally found my correct size thanks to Zappos easy return policy. That said, now I have a great walking shoe that fits and is comfortable. Thanks Zappos for carrying size 12 women's for us who have a hard time finding shoes elsewhere!
