Awesome comfort -
The first pair of NB I’ve ever bought. And a good choice it was. Comfort is awesome, the fit is very good (I bought a 1/2 size larger than normal). I would recommend this to shoe to anyone. Matches Army PT's perfect too.

An answer to my problem -
I have a supinating foot... high arches; shoes/soles tend to wear out to the outer side of my foot. 90% of the population goes the other way, with collapsing arches and pronating feet. Very hard for those like myself. If we buy shoes off the shelf (for whatever reason, be it looks or price) our feet, ankles, knees and legs ache terribly with real use. This shoe, like others built specifically with no arch-support (neutral last), is heaven on the supinating foot! My legs no longer ache, I have no swelling, and I put a POUNDING on these shoes. Highly recommended IF you have the kind of feet I've described here. My only problem now is that I can't find a size 8 shoe here, though I bought two pairs last year at Zappos. :(

Good shoe for the money -
I have played around with all brands of running/athletic shoes and keep coming back to New Balances. I find that these shoes fit truest to size, have the longest life, and generally look as good or better than the competition. Once again Zappos comes through with top notch service and delivery. You may pay a couple of more bucks than other sites, but you can't put a price on the hassle free transactions you get here. I'll use Zappos again and again over other outlets.

Disappointed.
1) Uncomfortable.
2) No cushioning.
3) Extremely inconvenient and unreliable lacing.
4) Soles started peeling off after 2 months of use.

Great trail shoe -
Bought these because they were so cheap. The fit is excellent, the grip is even better. I don't slip while taking the shortcuts at school anymore!
I got the navy and gray and it matches with all my workout clothes since they’re nice and dark. Highly recommended.

Super cool look good all the time, lightweight, I liked them so much I got a second pair for when the first ones wore out, one problem the first ones won't wear out.

Great Shoe for Very Wide Feet!
First of all, we absolutely love Zappos. If we can get it at Zappos.com, we will. I bought these shoes for my husband. He picked out the style. New Balance often comes in very wide sizes, his being a 4E. The shoes fits perfectly. I equate his foot to a brick; wide, thick and typically not easy to fit in a shoe. He has loved every NB sneaker we've bought. He especially loves the styling on this shoe and couldn’t be happier with the fit. He also highly recommends Bostonian dress shoes. I never saw a smile so big as I did when he put those on. He wears them every chance he gets and not once does he complain about his shoes not feeling good. Same with the NB sneaker. However, on the NB, he has a knack for wearing the inside of the shoe out before the outside. I don’t know if that’s typical of NB, but don’t be surprised if it does happen, I guess.

Perfect shoes and service -
I ordered them late Saturday night. Got them before noon Monday. NOBODY has that kind of service. Out of the box comfort and fit. I wear size 15EEEE. At age 45 I never had shoes feel this good. New Balance shoes are great. I had the M606 before but they no longer come my size. The 607is equal in fit and comfort. My feet are always HOT. These New Balance shoes with mesh sides let them breathe. Outside yesterday was 16 degrees and breezy. The cool air felt so good on my feet. Zappos is my shoe store from now on. I wear these shoes 13 hours daily for work; they are as comfortable at the end of day as at the beginning.

Digging in!
A bit worried that the shoe would be heavy as my cross trainers but was light for an "all-terrain". They really gripped the park ground-grass, dirt, asphalt. They felt snug. Will buy a "gel" type and make a comparison.

Always wear size 10.5 in a 4E -- these things fit like clown shoes!! Felt like an 11.5 because my foot was LOST. Width OK.

Great running shoes -
I love these shoes. When I first put them on I felt like running, even though I was just walking somewhere. They have great arch support and a nice bit of bounce as you walk/run in them. They make hiking easier too.

Great American Made Sneakers -
These shoes fit great - nice and wide like I needed. I couldn't have asked for a better fit. All around, it's a quality sneaker. The construction is sound; the materials have the look and feel of quality. These shoes don't have any of the gimmicks many athletic shoes come with these days. It's a sensible, subtly stylish sneaker that comes in the right sizes.
I love New Balance - still made by.

Decent shoe at a decent price -
The shoes were good. The service was good. The length felt a bit smaller than I had thought, but I bought a half size larger anyways. The laces needed to be replaced. They were stiff and not very usable.

The shoe that fits - from a previous shoe salesman -
I've very happy with these shoes. The style is much better looking than some of the generic white "wide" shoes that new New Balance makes. I had another pair of new balance in size 7 in the extra wide width of 4E. I bought the same size/ width for this pair and they were perfect. I have a size pair of New Balance in size 8 2E wide, but since 4E is a little wider, so I could go with the smaller size shoe in 4E. Shipping was lighting fast. I had my order in about 3 business days. The price was great...even with shipping it was less money than buying them in the store.

Good travel shoes -
Took these as my only shoes on a one month jaunt to Guatemala and they were great. Make sure you break them in a little before doing major hiking though, as they are a little stiff at first.

Fastest shipping I could ever imagine -
I ordered the shoe late evening and I got it next morning. This was unbelievable. Excellent job, Zappos! This New Balance Shoe M609 fits very well, provides good support. Though the cushioning is not bad, it could have been better. Probably I felt this difference because my last shoe was nice Air Max 360.
