This is a very lovely lace-up boot, but if you have muscular upper calves, you'll need to think twice, you won't be able to zip the upper part closed. Also, the bottom may be slippery when it's icy and they really aren't that cozy. Buy it for looks only.

These are beautiful, stylish black boots. The lacing detail is feminine and elegant. I wear 8.5 M, and these are perfect. There is adequate room in the toe box and the heel, with no uncomfortable looseness. I had hoped to wear them with both jeans and dresses, but the upper boot will not accommodate pants, though my calves are of average size. Nonetheless, I will be very pleased to wear these cool boots with dresses and skirts. They shipped on Monday, and I'm wearing them Tuesday! This was my first time ordering from Zappos, and all 3 pairs of boots fit perfectly.

 |  | I just wanted to say that I received an email from Zappos.com about a product I purchased last year. It mentioned that they had that shoe available in the size, style, and color that I had previously ordered. I went to the web site through the link attached and it was so easy to purchase another pair and just in time. My husband needed a new pair and we received the shoes 2 days later. It was awesome and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much for such great customer service!!! I will continue to shop on your web site because of it!!!
