Very cute, great price. Leather lining and suede are of good quality. Should look great with slouchy socks and skinny jeans. I am trained in kinesiology, and any shoe with a heel more than an inch is not going to be a "comfortable" fit. This is a dress boot, not a comfort boot. I will buy some quality full length foot pads to layer the inside to give the warmth and padding this boot desperately needs, then insert my custom arch supports. I bought these chic booties in part because the heels are lower when compared to most of the other style choices. Soooo cute!

Very cute & funky -
While I agree that these boots aren't built for comfort, I don't find them any less comfortable than most dress boots. I added an insole, changed the slippery heel peg ($10 at the shoe maker) and now they feel pretty darn good. Actually, they will be a relief from my usual 'night on the town' boots. The heart shaped toe is not only great looking, but it keeps my little toes from feeling pinched. I'm a stylish Manhattan girl, and I love the granny-funky look of them!

The medium width feels like a wide width. Be prepared to wear extra thick socks if you order these boots.

So uncomfortable!
I love the look of this shoe but am disappointed that they are so uncomfortable. My feet hurt while wearing them and couldn't wait to get them off. These are cruel shoes!

A little more granny than funky -
I was looking for a funky shoe-boot, so I could attempt (sigh) to keep up with the latest trends in Paris. I thought this boot might qualify. Unfortunately not. The quality of the black suede was below average for this price, and the sole slick (more like a shoe, less like a boot). The toe box also has a very heart shape, and is quite short. Overall, I still love the concept with the butterflies etc, but the poor quality and slightly quirky design made these boots something I knew I would never wear - so back they went.

I can never find XXL sizes in the local surf shops so to be able to go and shop at a place like Zappos is awesome. Thanks for the great products to choose from and the great service.
